I'm trying to prove something.
(around 7.25pm, Nov 23, Palestine time)
please please PLEASE do not stop speaking just because of a temporary ceasefire. please. some of you will have holidays but please take a few minutes out of your day to voice out. and if you can, perhaps do not celebrate and instead protest and keep emailing reps and posting about a complete ceasefire. please.
while some of us will be breathing a sigh of relief over the temporary ceasefire, people will STILL be dying. people ARE still dying. up until the very last minute. they’ve intensified their attacked. there is no “pause” for them.
please. your festivals come every year but these people… these children… once they’re gone, they’re gone. there will be no next year for them.
please keep speaking up. we’re not done yet. please.
m’not sure about donations still because the ceasefire doesn’t mean money will get to gaza right away BUT!!! care for gaza, the e-sims, hirbawi, and palaction are all donations you can make even with a blockade.
other than that, please sign all the petitions, join the campaigns and contact your reps using the various options provided. AND PLEASE remember to boycott companies listed by BDS

Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.
All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.
Tzimisce fashion show ft. Nikifor and Laszlo the Revenant
When you remember that Europeans would occasionally eat Egyptian mummy's as sort of a healing elixir.
Then you read a little bit more about it and find out they weren't just eating preserved human bodies (beyond just Egyptian mummys), but also used other forms of "medical cannibalism".
Example being the use of gladiators' blood or human fat in some home remedies.
Not me creating a less monstrous appearing vampire who is stunning, has high manipulation and is a slight control freak. Currently the Fake Prince of Milwaukee.
Listen I do dearly love all the monstrous tzimisce, do not get me wrong... BUT as someone from Eastern Europe (specifically Romania ( extra specifically kinda from transylvania)) I am missing out on the Politeness. On the priding themselves to be good hosts, upholding old heritage and follow ancient rules you have never even heard of (all depending on their own cultural and the common tzimisce backgrounds).
Im not saying full on hannibal types, but there's many ways to be polite and nice and also unsettling at the same time.
For each monstrous tzimsice wearing their inhumanity on their sleeve, there should be one who keeps it hidden under a thin layer of manners and good conduct, who shares their food and home willingly and eagerly until you get on their bad side and all of a sudden, they turn cold and just as monstrous as you expect.
