Coping skills for trauma are essential for anyone, and incorporating them into your practice can be very beneficial. Trauma-informed care is a crucial aspect of supporting individuals who have experienced trauma. Here are some ways you can use a coping skills card deck in your practice:
Self-care Rituals: Create a ritual around pulling a coping skill card each day or week. Reflect on how you can implement that skill in your daily life to promote self-care and healing.
Intention Jars: If you create intention jars, consider adding coping skill cards to them. This can infuse your intentions with strategies for managing stress, anxiety, or trauma triggers.
Meditation and Reflection: Incorporate the coping skills from the cards into your meditation or reflection practices. Focus on each skill to see how it resonates with your own experiences and needs.
Teaching and Workshops: If you're helping others, host workshops or classes where you teach the coping skills from the card deck. This can be a valuable resource for individuals seeking support.
Journaling: Use the coping skills to inspire journal prompts. Encourage yourself and others to write about their experiences and how they are incorporating these skills into their lives.
Spread Positivity: Share a coping skill with others, either in person or on social media, as a way to promote mental health awareness and well-being.
Remember that coping skills should be used in conjunction with other therapeutic techniques and strategies. Trauma can be complex, and a holistic approach to healing is often most effective.
If you have any specific questions about using the coping skills card deck or need more detailed information on any aspect, please feel free to ask!

Since my altar/offering idea list seemed to get a good response, here’s another list on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Be warned, some of this stuff is dangerous to handle, like, physically, not just magically. Don’t leave a curse jar full of anything that might rot in or near your house. I’m not responsible for the results of whatever you do with this information, or the results of any hexes you cast.
cemetery dirt
maceration water (if you’re not familiar with taxidermy terminology, it’s the water leftover after you let animal parts sit in it for a while to clean flesh off of bones)
labyrinth dirt
animal claws/teeth (pick an animal that corresponds with your intention)
rotten flesh/meat/eggs (be sure to bury the damn thing outside as far away from you as possible if you go this route)
the cheapest, nastiest vodka you can find, or malt liquor (good for spells targeting an abusive alcoholic)
vinegar
dead insects (especially spiders)
thunderstorm water
urine
cat shit
bullets
thorns
wasps nest
barbed wire
rusty nails/coffin nails

spanish moss
bloodstone
iron filings
broken glass

goofer dust (this one might be a bit controversial; depending on your views, this might be best to skip and leave for hoodoo practitioners to use)
mars water (especially if made on the day of mars, hour of mars)
crushed ants, wasps, and scorpions
blood root
black snake root
deerstongue
asafoetida

Pumpkin spice syrup for lattes at home!
Devastatingly, I am a pauper with no espresso machine but I thworped it into some cold brew with vanilla almond creamer and 🤌 delichis.
Recipe from Starbucks at home 🥄
1 ½ cup sugar
1 ½ cup water
6 cinnamon sticks (or 3 Tbsp ground cinnamon)
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp ground ginger
2 tsp ground nutmeg
4 Tbsp pumpkin puree
•Combine sugar and water in saucepan and bring to a simmer.
•Once sugar is dissolved, add cinnamon sticks, ground cloves, ginger, nutmeg and pumpkin puree, and let simmer for 20 minutes.
•Remove from heat and immediately strain through cheesecloth.
•Add to coffee—3 Tbsp syrup, one cup of milk, one shot of espresso OR do what I did & mix cold brew coffee, syrup, and Silk’s almond vanilla creamer together until it’s delicious!

Edit: I didn’t explain what crow counting was, oops! It’s basically a way of divination using the number of crows in a murder (what a lovely word for a flock of crows btw), taking them as an omen or sign. This only really works if crows aren’t a usually occurrence (as how it works with most signs)
One crow-
Bad luck, loss, sorrow
Two crows-
Good luck, a major change, joy
Three crows-
A wedding or celebration, the birth of a girl
Four crows-
New beginnings, the birth of a boy
Five crows-
Money coming, good business
Six crows-
Major money change, could be a loss or a gain
Seven crows-
A secret, mystery, or curse
Eight crows-
Life changing experience (usually positive)
Nine crows-
Love, positive recognition
Ten crows-
Major turn around or change in life
Eleven crows-
News, surprises, secrets revealed
Twelve crows-
Good luck, completion, fulfillment
Thirteen crows-
Completion, the end of a journey
