I read this book recently. It is so beautifully written. Everything is very nicely explained and with the subtlety Mohsin Hamid has portrayed each character in the novel is exquisite.

i remember reading something like "people are not rain or snow or autumn leaves; they dont look beautiful when they finally fall" years ago and then I never saw that post again, and yet I constantly think of it and it reminds me how fleetingly life slips away

So, I was reading this book today and suddenly had a really strong craving for chocolate cake. I got up from bed, gathered all strength (it was a lazy kind of afternoon) and baked this little chocolate loaf cake.
