Hi lovelies! I just wanted to make a quick post regarding plagiarism. I’m am so flattered that my works have inspired some of ya’ll to write some of your works! I genuinely love that my work does that.

What I don’t love is people taking my concepts, ideas, formatting, my literal stories without asking me first. I like to think I’m a very kind and understanding person. A lot of you know that if you reach out to me asking to use my work as inspiration I WILL SAY YES!! I have met so many amazing artists this way.

It’s so disheartening to see someone take something I’ve worked so hard on and make tiny changes and post as their own without even reaching out to me. When some of ya’ll reached out to me letting me know this happened to my most popular fic, I won’t lie, I was devastated. I honestly was ready to stop writing The Road to Parenthood because of one person.

If whoever wrote that fic sees this, thank you for taking it down. I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you meant no harm. But in the future, just reach out to an author if you are inspired by their fic. I do this all the time. I’ve made so many friends doing this. I MET MY GIRLFRIEND BY REACHING OUT TO HER LIKE THIS. I promise you, authors don’t bite. 9/10 times you ask to use someone’s fic as inspo they will say yes.

reading through old fanfics I've written makes me realise there was a time when I actually could write quality stuff and was very funny. What happened to her? Where did she go?

Okay, strap in. I took Sinns fic and maybe a bit of my crossover fic of her fic and the BAU and made another fic that's set in the future, where Logan graduates medical school and starts working at the Chiacgo Med hospital. I know its a bit complicated, but oh well.

Anyway, you definitely have to read Sinns fic to understand any of this, as it's literally a fanfic of her fic. Chicago Med knowledge is not really needed at the moment, I'll update this if that changes though. It's a hospital drama that's all you need to know.

Y'know what the hardest part about writing a fanfic for a medical drama is? Resisting the urge to write tummy ache and instead writing "a pain in her stomach" like a proper adult, since that's what we want to sound like, and cos no doctor would say tummy ache. It truly is a feat

Y’know what I really hate? Having an amazing idea for writing when you fall asleep and thinking: “this idea is so good I’m never going to forget it” then waking up and not being able to remember it

You know what song crossover would just be like THE thing, like you can sing along, or just listen, but you like feel it in your bones?
