I Was Debating Whether To Reblog A Post Related This Week's Bleach Episode But I Couldn't Stop Laughing

Heres my own redesign of s1 Nya I did for funsies!

I always wished she had a less formal outfit (because lets face it, a qipao isn’t exactly casual) but it was too iconic to just completely remove, so I gave her a jacket! I also added some subtle hints to her being a mechanic/Samurai X; her toolbelt, goggles and the oil smudge on her cheek!

Not much else I would really change about her character in s1 (except her … questionable writing but that’s a talk for another day..,,!)

Isshin reacting to all of the insanity during TYBW would be the funniest shit.

Shit Isshin might say (if he saw zombie Hitsugaya and zombie Matsumoto)

Hitsugaya and Matsumoto were recently turned into zombies, because that is a thing that happens in Bleach now. But what if their old captain, Isshin, finally returned to Soul Society and saw them as zombies? What sorts of things might he say?

1. “T-Toshiro! Why are you wearing a Quincy uniform??”

2. “I know my absence probably left you with abandonment issues, but Yhwach is not your new dad!”

3. “I know his facial hair is magnificent, but even so!”

4. “Rangiku has abandonment issues too, and you don’t see HER joining the Quincy!”

5. “I mean, you haven’t joined the Quincy, have you, Rangiku?”

6. “…….or don’t answer me. That’s okay. It’s cool. I know you’re probably mad.”

7. “Just - how could you join the Quincy, Toshiro????”

8. “Not that I hate the Quincy. My wife was a Quincy. But there’s Quincy, and then there’s Quincy, if you know what I mean.”

9. “Also, why are you so…….gray?”

10. “For that matter, why is Matsumoto so gray?”

11. “And why are you both staring at me with blank lifeless eyes?”

12. “Also, why haven’t either of you reacted at all to my sudden appearance, even though you must have been wondering for like twenty years where I was and what happened to me?”

13. “Also why aren’t you blinking?”

14. “Wait a second………….are you guys zombies?”

15. “Oh my fucking god you guys are ZOMBIES!”

16. “I leave for twenty years, and you BOTH get turned into ZOMBIES?!?”

17. “Toshiro, you’re supposed to be smarter than that! Rangiku, you’re supposed to be WAY more sensible than that!”

18. “Love the new hair though, guys. Seriously. Great look for both of you.”

19. “So, uh, I guess this means no big reunion, huh?”

20. “I was gonna say how proud I was of both of you, and how sorry I was for the way I left, and I was going to blow both of your minds with the news that I’m Ichigo’s dad! That’s right - I raised the kid who keeps saving the universe!”

21. “But now it just seems so….pointless. Can you guys even hear me?”

22. “Grunt if you can hear me.”

23. “Grunt if you can’t hear me?”

24. “Man. I can’t tell if you guys aren’t talking ‘cause you’re just that mad, or if it’s the zombie thing.”

25. “I guess I shoulda talked to you guys in the world of the living, huh?”

26. “Back before you were zombies.”

27. “That would have meant Ichigo finding some things out earlier, but then, maybe that would have helped him.”

28. “I’m just…….I’m really sorry.”

29. “…”

30. “I really gotta stop waiting so long to talk to people!”

But I understand not telling them because tatsuki before this wasn’t aware of hollows or the soul society so

Yeah right after I posted that answer, I wondered if you were talking about the other incident since that one is more talked about. My bad.

Ok, I reread that moment and Orihime said she wanted to say goodbyes to the others, but chose Ichigo. She’s a teenager who is about to taken to a place full of Arcancar and isn’t certain if she’ll see her friends again, choosing her crush over Tatsuki doesn’t make her a bad person.

The bottom line of it is her wanting to make sure she doesn’t regret not being clear about how she feels while she was on good terms with the rest hence the “goodbye, halcyon days”. Tatsuki would somewhat wanted Orihime to say goodbye to her but can understand why she chose Ichigo. Also like from my last post, telling Tatsuki would probably get her involved which Orihime is completely against considering how much she cares about her friends.
