mosstober day three: comet 💫

i couldn’t help but think of moomins and the first book snufkin was in - comet in moominland. i love tove janssons skill with black and negative space illustrations, it really is so hard to do! but luckily a lot easier with masks and prcreate! maybe i’ll do a quick tutorial showing how i did it :) i think this came out cute even tho i wasn’t expecting myself to get anything finished for todays prompt! this is also dedicated to @nikkivenustattoo who did my second tattoo, of snufkin on my first ever solo trip away from home. nikki is so sweet and i loved chatting about moomins with her! everyone should go get moomin tattoos from her now ! also, that weekend really made me learn the meaning of this snufkin quote, that incidentally comes from ‘comet in moominland’: “You must go on a long journey before you can really find out how wonderful home is”.
