ok, so technically I've always been jealous of my mother, like she was all kind and stuff and to top it off she was pretty, like really pretty.

the guys in my school would always tell me how my mother reminds them of a disney princess, she passed all of the validations to be, i'd end up getting angry and would shut them off saying I was the princess and she was the queen.

at one point, i even envied how she had my father's attention on her, always. i wanted to marry my dad, not her. it was like she was competing with me for the attention she receives from dad.

but of course at one point, i grew out of that phase, i realised how unique and beautiful i am in my own way. however i'm still their kind of love, i craved for it, but i'd admit, being the daughter of two pretty people gave me it's benefits.

because just one bat of eyelashes and i'd get everything at my feet, you can call me a primadonna girl except the fact where she behaves arrogant.

the men i usually came across would tell me things to discourage me about working, they'd call me ' a pretty girl who will good in the kitchen' all this just to demotivate me, but somehow it usually had the opposite effect on me.

i was always craving for one thing in life ; perfection.

but the last semester's exams were anything but perfection to me.

"honey, it's common, you knew what you signed up for when you decided to study law, didn't you?" my dad said while caressing my head in sympathy.

"but you study so hard for this" my mother who was sitting beside me, pointed out while keeping her gaze on the screen. "that's what i don't understand!"

"cut yourself some slack honey, this is only the beginning, you have a lot of time to improve, i'm sure you will" my dad said.

"maybe it's your study methods, but it's okay, we can always work on them so don't worry honey" my mother patted my head. and for the next five minutes my parents tried soothing me.

it's just that i'm used to having perfect grades and this time whatever happened just crumbled my whole confidence in shreds. i was still processing what was happening with me and i told my parents to give me some space for a while, which they did.

i'd have to redo my exams again in september and i'm already freaking out.

amidst it all I got a text message from alexander, i clicked my tongue and tossed my phone back to the bed, i had no mood to talk to him currently. the only reason alexander hangs out with me is when he wants to have sex, well i do too, you can call us friends with benefits kinda?

and as of now, it has been going all good, he satisfied me enough and the experience was good as well, well more like i had nothing to compare this with.

normally i'd spend my summer or the evening hanging out with my friend but currently it's the least thing that spikes my interest or diverts my mind from my terrible grades.

"i'm starving" i groaned and entered the kitchen and took a seat at the dining table, "great! dinner is ready too!" my mother spoke up and settled the plates and kept a pan of pasta on the table.

"guess what" my dad said as he entered the kitchen and took a seat beside me, "what?" i raised a brow to which he just flashed me a knowing grin "stop the suspense dad" i whined.

"fine fine" he chuckled "well i called my personal lawyer who lives in korea and he said that he's willing to tutor you!" he said as i widened my eyes in surprise and shrieked in happiness, "really?" i said with a smile.

"of course sweetheart, you're not the only one who wants you to succeed" he chuckled and patted my head. "wait i missed it all, what are you guys talking about?" mom spoke up when she finally got out of her daze.

"nothing much, i just called taehyung to have him tutor 'ella and he agreed" dad said as she smiled, "oh that's great, honey" she smiled and leaned in to peck dad on his lips.

chris entered the room and cringed at the sight almost immediately "there are kids here" he said and mom rolled her eyes at him.

"he'll be flying here tomorrow, i need him for the business as well" he said, "is he successful though?" i said as he scoffed, "would he be my lawyer if he wasn't?" i chuckled "of course not dad."

after the dinner i went back to my room and called my best friend aurora and told her about the news.

"that's great, at least you'll stop sulking at me now" she chuckled while i scoffed, "thank you for sympathising with me, 'rora" i rolled my eyes. "but really i'm happy for you babe" she said and i hummed in satisfaction.

she was now telling me about some older man she met, i can surely tell she's catching feelings for him, they've been texting each other for a while and recently met as well but not official yet.

"alright, well, it's already late, i'm gonna sleep now" i yawned. "yeah goodnight" she said and we hung up.

the next morning, i woke up with a fresh mind. i went downstairs and saw dad making breakfast in the kitchen while Chris and elena were at the counter-side, chatting.

"what are your plans for the day?" dad asked once i stood beside him, "nothing much, study, eat, workout and sleep" i said and he chuckled.

"well then, can you please squeeze out some time for my lawyer?" he grinned, "wait he's coming today?!" i shrieked out of excitement, of course and he nodded.

"thank you dad" i smiled, "no problem sweetheart" he smiled back as i hugged him, the hug made me remember all of the sweet ol' memories, the nostalgia indeed.

after breakfast i changed into my gym outfits and went inside the gym situated downstairs and repeated what i usually did for any normal day. sometimes dad or chris would join me, mom doesn't work out much. but usually i'd be alone by myself, i loved the peace here.

after i was done i changed into some fresh clothes, them being a red shirt and a blue jeans and headed upstairs back to the living hall since i heard some voices from the main door.

"always on time." i heard dad spoke up from the main door, "i mean, what did you expect?" i heard a deep voice followed by a chuckle echoed through the hall.

"taehyung! long time no see!" mom spoke and my eyes widened for a bit, it was definitely him. I hurried my steps and reached the hall peeking through the living room at the main door.

'fuck. he's hot'.

"dad?" i muttered and walked to the door, "oh 'ella! come here darling" dad said as i walked to him, standing right beside him, "taehyung this is Fiorella, my daughter and 'ella, this is taehyung, the one i was talking about"

he had a double eyelid and a monolid which was quite the rare sight here in italy, his bronze skin totally complimented those dark brown-ish black hair and to top it all off he had a pair of extremely kissable lips. he was wearing a cream-ish button up shirt and brown pants, his fluffy hair falling on his eyes.

"pleasured to meet you, fiorella" taehyung said as he handed out his hand for a handshake as i shook his hand, "please is all mine" i replied as i felt absolutely swooned by his smile.

"well, are we planning to stand here, all the way? come inside, taehyung" mom said as we walked to the living room and we all took a seat on the tables, mom sat beside me with dad across from her which leaves me across taehyung.

"uh, firstly thankyou so much for tutoring me!" i smiled flashing him my charming smile as he smiled back.

"oh it's alright, anyways when are you gonna redo?" he asked, "in september"

"alright well, can i see your result please?" he requested while i nodded and brought out my tab to show him the results.

"hm, to be very blunt, not the best, but i can surely see the potential and i'm confident that we can cover it all up till september." he said while i smiled while nodding a bit.

"we'll go through your books and do some internet smurfing as well and i'd give you tests time to time, hope you're okay with that" he said while i nodded.

"well let's decide the days hm? when's a good day for you?" dad inquired, "thursdays would be good i have no meetings or clients whatsoever" he replied. "thursday it is then"

we stayed there for a while till it was time for him to leave "anyways I'm extremely sorry but i'd have to leave now, i have clients i gotta meet up with.

we walked him to the door, "it was great seeing you again taehyung though it was brief" my dad spoke up as they hugged each other, "likewise"

he walked to me while my heart started racing, i was scared that he could hear the loud thumps of my heart beating. he walked closer and encircled his arm around my waist and leaned closer to my ear a bit.

"i look forward to our lessons" he said once he pulled back making me smile "i do too"

more than you could imagine.

he nodded and walked to the door and walked outside the mansion. "it was great meeting him again" my mom spoke up once she returned from the kitchen, "oh i hope it's not too great though" he said while she chuckled, leaning in to peck him on his lips to which I silently cringed.

"of course not honey" she said once she pulled back, "i really wished he brought ciandra with him as well though" this spiked my interest. "who's ciandra?" i asked. "oh ciandra park, taehyung's girlfriend darling"

well damn.
