Chapter seven whoop whoop!
Sabine was in the bakery with her husband. The sweet scent of sugar and chocolate wafted in the air as she mixed a bowl of cookie dough together. It was her kwami’s favorite kind of cookie, chocolate chip. Sabine had to make more of those now that she was coccinelle. Tikki loved them and would wait under the table so that Sabine would be able to sneak her bits and pieces every so often with a warm smile. Tom was busy working on a birthday cake that someone had specially ordered for tomorrow. He was using a raspberry buttercream frosting that smelled delectable, expertly spreading the frosting on with a spatula. Of course Sabine had to sneak a little taste of it from the bowl for Tikki. The kwami felt lucky that her miraculous holder worked in a bakery.
Ever since the camping incident, Bakugo had been feeling confused, bewildered, a little angry, confuzzled, tricked, fooled, bamboozled, and unhinged. Things just weren’t making sense to him. It was like he had woken up that morning to find that his dad had an anger problem and his mother had become the sweetest creature on earth. Or gravity had shifted so that he could walk on the ceiling.
Why had Izuku saved him? It didn’t make sense. Midoriya didn’t even like him, didn’t even acknowledge his presence when they were standing in the same room. Sure, Midoriya had saved him before, but that was different. This time he was inviting himself to a world of pain. Bakugo had been scared, but if he could do it all over again, he would have had Midoriya stay. The kid had broken arms for goodness' sake.

Bakugo nervously walked towards his classroom for the very first time. With any luck, Izuku wouldn’t be in his class, and they would never see each other again. It was a shame that he never had good luck. He peeked his head in cautiously and surveyed the room, cringing when he saw a familiar mop of green hair.
Izuku was sitting with his feet on top of his desk and was getting reprimanded by a stiff-looking boy with blue-ish hair and glasses.
“You are disrespecting school property,” the bespectacled boy said, chopping his arm in the air as if to make a point. Izuku was looking at him with a frown. Bakugo sighed. If he tried hard enough, then he could sneak to a seat before Izuku noticed his presence. he would get a few moments of peace until the teacher did roll call.
Bakugo stood in the field staring at his opponent. Uraraka. She looked at him with a hard face, one that he had only seen when she was looking at Izuku.
“Alright Uraraka, I am not going to hold back,” Bakugo said, stretching his arms to release any tension that might have crept upon him.
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Uraraka said determinedly, “Backing down is not an option here!”
At the sound of “START!” Uraraka charged at him, hands wide as she readied to use her quirk on him. Bakugo stood still, waiting for her to come closer. He drew his hand back and a medium-sized explosion boomed, filling the air around them with smoke.
this fanfic is not written by me! It is written by the wonderful wrathkitty! In my unprofessional opinion, it's better than BlueSky.
“I am not All Might” Izuku snarled out.
“Well of course you’re no-” Endeavor started to say, but this time Midoriya cut him off.
“Right, of course, I’m not.” Izuku turned his head back so he could see Endeavor’s face and meet his eye, "And Todoroki isn't you!”
Endeavor glared at him, his flames whooshing again. Izuku glared back, daring the man to do something.
The scent of cinnamon and almond frosting wafted through the air along with a few leaves. Adrien did his best to ignore the way his heart skipped at the way she smiled at her old sketches and tried to focus on something else.
Midoriya started to mutter under his breath before he realized what he was doing. When he did, he sat up and then trudged over to Kirishima's room. He knocked on the door and waited. Kirishima opened with a cheerful, "What's up?"
"Hit me. In the face." Izuku ordered. Kirishima looked shocked.
"What? I can't do that."
"Do it!" Midoriya growled. As soon as he said that Kirishima smacked him so hard that he fell to the side. Grunting in pain, Midoriya stood up and said, "Thanks."
"Uh, you're welcome, I guess," Kirishima said confusedly.
Everyone who watched the news now knew that he had been quirkless for most of his life. Midoriya was embarrassed and didn’t want to see how his classmates reacted to that. It was a big shocker. it had been his deepest, darkest secret beside one for all. Bakugo had known but hadn't told anyone, and Midoriya owned him for that. (Well, now after saving him from being kidnapped, they were even. but still)
In his mind's eye, Midoriya could imagine all his friends being disgusted of or even worse, pitying him. He didn’t want them to leave him, but then he told himself that he didn’t care, and it didn’t matter. He knew that he was lying to himself. Midoryia just didn't want them to think of him any different.
After donning disguises, the group began to travel through the city, inching closer and closer to where the tracker was leading them. They were doing pretty good. Acting like adults, instead of teenagers. Only they weren't sure how they were supposed to act. It wasn’t like adults shuffled around, drinking coffee and crying about taxes. They also didn’t stop to smell the roses or anything else that carried a dubious scent. So, in the end, it wasn’t too hard to blend in.
That was why they were shocked and flinched when someone called out, “oh? It's U.A.!!”
Bakugo turned and saw his teachers up on the big screen. A voice announced that they were showing a segment of the “U.A. high school’s apology press conference”. As the teachers talked about the villains and many apologies had been made, some reporters asked things that seemed to put the hero in a bad light. That they were incompetent and foolish. The mood of the crowd was changing, and many people began to grumble and make comments about how awful the heroes had turned out to be.
Bakugo glanced at the others, sweat dripping down his face. He could see that they were all thinking the same thing.
here is a li'preveiw.
All might could see that his young predecessor was trying but failing to take down a single robot.
'He can't use one for all yet, can he? Oh dear. It must be hard for him. If only could tell him to take a break, then he would figure out how to use it out of pure spite,' All Might thought, putting his chin on his hand as he leaned closer to the screen.
"Alright, we only have a few more minutes to wait to see how everyone will react to our real test." the strange bear, cat, mouse thing that was called Principal Nezu announced.
All the other teachers murmured in excitement, but All Might could only worry.
'Come on young Midoriya, this is your last chance to prove yourself.' he pleaded to the mini Midoriya on screen, ‘I know you can do it. Where is the fire that you showed me when we first met?’
