We have Commander Gloom, Lieutenant Heaps, CMO Meadow, Captain Risk (my little adhd feller 💖), and ARC Trooper Raider.

257th Attack Battalion

Commander Gloom (CC-4013): Vigilant and protective, he sometimes comes off as harsh and strict. An excellent soldier on the battlefield, he was promoted to the rank of commander after his predecessor was killed due to one of the general’s rash plans. After the loss of his predecessor, who was also a close brother, Gloom does his best to protect his men and sometimes forgets to loosen up, even when in a safe environment. It earned him the name “Gloom” when an offhand comment (“Cheer up, Cap. Why so gloomy?”) was made. To him, his men and brothers always come before himself, and at times, the Republic. No matter how difficult his men get, he’ll never deny his fondness of them. The scar that stretches from the middle of his forehead to his right temple was caused by a wound he sustained while trying to protect his captain. 

Lieutenant Heaps (CT-8110): Quiet and reserved, he tends to be unassuming when it comes to his exceptional battlefield skills. His behaviour has caused some of the more naive clones to pick on him as a cadet, a course of action that has almost always backfired. Finding interest in new and foreign worlds, he enjoys collecting small parts of worlds he visits on missions, like rocks, crystals, and such; and values those items. Although most can be fooled into thinking that he is unbothered by the horrors of the battlefield due to his relatively optimistic outlook, it is actually his way coping with the inevitable loss that comes with war. It is not difficult for him to break his shy demeanour to take command in a situation, making him a natural leader who values his subordinates’ lives, as well as his brothers’. 

Clone Trooper Meadow, CMO (CT-4729): Compassionate and kind, he is always willing to do whatever it takes to save the life of a clone. His quick reflexes are an asset to him on the battlefield, as they help to ensure the safety of him and his comrades. Gentle and reliable, no one would disagree on that they trust him with their lives, and he is often willing to listen to his brothers’ problems and offer comfort or advice. He tends to divert all his concern to others and neglect his own well-being, a trait he is often chastised for but probably won’t get rid of. His incredible skills enable him to not only be an excellent medic, but also an excellent soldier who is formidable on the battlefield. He rarely gets enough sleep and has to be forced into bed when the others take notice of his uncharacteristically impulsive behaviour. The clover tattoo on his cheekbone is a tribute to a fallen brother.

Captain Risk (CC-5012): Impulsive and emotionally driven, he would run headfirst into fire for his men and brothers. While he may need an external voice of reason at times, he is clever and cunning, both important qualities for a soldier and a leader. While he may seem untroubled due to his excited nature, his thoughts are just as complex as any other person’s. Following the unfortunate death of one of his closest brothers on the battlefield, he often doubts his applicability to the role of leader and may require assurance of his capability. It is partially due to this that he doesn’t always plan before rushing into trouble to save one of his men. The scar that curls around his left eye was caused by similar circumstances where he rushed into figurative fire, and he probably would’ve completely lost his eye if it not been for his commander. Repeated visits to the medical bay have resulted in a very close bond with his Chief Medical Officer, trooper Meadow.

ARC Trooper Raider (ARC-5793): As an outstanding soldier, he caught the eye of his superiors, who decided to promote him to ARC Trooper. Although he takes pride in his achievement, he finds that he feels as though he has an expectation to live up to. His irritated attitude is usually a mask he uses to cover his anxiousness to live up to the name of ARC Trooper. Usually, it takes him a while to warm up to strangers, even if they are clones. However, once he warms up to someone, his cold exterior warms and he finds that he develops a strong fondness of them. He has good instincts that have helped him avoid trouble before. The “pattern” in his undercut was originally a scar which he shaved some hair around so that it resembled a lightning bolt.

You know what? No one can stop me from advertising my silly little fics on this site, so I'm gonna!

The Pegasus is a rewrite of Our Flag Means Death that I'm writing that features my OC, Leon McIntyre.

Leon is an Irish trans man who ran away to become a pirate after killing his older sister's husband in self-defense. He's been a pirate for around twenty years at this point, and he rarely stays with the same crew for long.

Blackbeard's crew is the exception. He's been with them longer than he's been with any other crew. But when he meets Stede Bonnet, the entire dynamic of the crew changes.

I'm probably gonna rewrite a lot of the prologue chapter, if not all of it. And I might rewrite quite a bit of the first chapter as well, as I was still workshopping a lot of Leon's personality when I was writing those chapters.

It's gonna eventually be a Leon/Izzy fic, but it's also going to focus on Leon's own character arc of redefining what family means to him, learning to trust people, and addressing that compulsive people-pleasing can be a flaw. It's also gonna hopefully show a lot of the dynamics between the crew that we don't get a chance to see in the show

And maybe the plot will change! Who knows!

The whole "The Pegasus" series are all fics that involve Leon in some way. Not all of them are canon to the main fic. But Leon is there!

And I'm still working on the Izzy x Reader fics I've been sent! So please keep those requests coming!! I can't promise I'll be able to get to all of them, but I'm working on them.
