As much as I wanna show off a bunch of art I have...I have practically no good art to show off at the moment.

Also please refrain from killing me for the lack of posting ( > A < )

Anyway to give SLIGHT context the doodle above is of my persona (truthfully this was rushed because I was getting TF2 withdrawls)

Oh and I also drew Specimen 8 for my art class earlier!

Again, apologies for the lack of posts/art! Art block and shifts in motivation has been KILLING me.

I'm currently working on some reference sheets for the mercs at the moment because I have severe "Can't Draw a Character the Same Way Syndrome" or something along those lines, so I'm hoping I could post that once I finish them...

I haven't posted in a while, but it probably hasn't been that long right?

Meet Mantissspasm!! (idk what to call this man...)

Hello fellow internet strangers!! I am Kai/Mantis! I draw & doodle very frequently in my time, so that's what my posts here will focus on. While at the current moment I'm not sure what I'll post about EXACTLY, but right now I believe I will mostly post about TF2 & Rayman! (weird combo ik)

My current main interests are Rayman, TF2 (as one could tell), Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, Yume Nikki, & Vocaloid! If any of that interests you I'd love to chat! (or you can just follow for future posts but to be honest with you I'm not used to posting regularly on social media) If you WOULD like to talk though...I have a Discord, "crispycatreal" (+ some other accounts but they aren't that important) I will probably use some silly little name-related tags for my posts...stuff like #MantissspasmArt or #MantissspasmYapping ! Before I go, quick side notes... Firstly, I am new to Tumblr so if I seem a little stupid that's probably why (& if anyone feels like telling me some unspoken rules and other general info I would gladly appreciate it!) Secondly, for future reference I wouldn't doubt that some of the posts I'll make here will have violence or maybe even suggestive content so if you don't like that stuff, make of that what you will! Intro Post!!: Meet SurgicalSpiderCrab

As you may have guessed, I am SurgicalSpiderCrab! (I go by Kai) and I like to spend my time drawing the silly little things I get obsessed with. Because of this, my blog will be (and has been) MOSTLY based around art! Of course there may be exceptions though.

Also a quick disclosure! if you are sensitive to certain topics like gore, or suggestiveness... then you should be a little careful here because I do post art correlated to those themes sometimes!

My main interests are: TF2, Rayman (esp Origins), Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion, Yume Nikki, Vocaloid, and I Cannot Drown! I have more things I like, but they aren't huge interests of mine.

Also, just putting it out there. From now on all my posts are gonna be tagged with "votegaryjenkins" (it's an inside joke, nothing weird) so that's kinda like my thing

Consistency? NEVER HEARD OF IT!

Now I understand this title implies that this post is going to be inconsistent, but...not really. I am making fun of the fact that all of the posts I've made (besides like one) so far have all featured drawings from different things, which I don't personally like all too much Anyways I discovered this stupid little spray paint game on Roblox (weird how I've mentioned this platform twice now but that's besides the point) that is...ACTUALLY KINDA GOOD???/ so I used that and made a few doodles here and there! (all TF2 related because I'm going bonkers)

this is the one I actually put effort into. It looks funny but in a good way imo

Not much, but it's something. So I guess that's fine ! Quick rant... maybe I'm just thinking too much but I think the reason why people don't seem interested in my art isn't because it's bad, but just because it's like not unique? Y'know? I feel like with most other art styles there's something about them that you feel like you've never seen before, but with the stuff I make it doesn't feel that way. Again, could be overthinking (or maybe the fact that I have a very strange online presence) but I felt the need to say that..
