thematically, Batman needs to be a good father. 'but he's the dark knight! but he's vengeance and the night! but he's a loner!' yeah sure whatever, but that's over looking several crucial factors of his story. Batman's real enemy is societal corruption, it's what killed his parents, it's what makes it impossible for him to only throw money at Gotham to fix it, it's the source of basically all of his rogues. and you know what flies in the face of societal corruption? kindness, compassion, a willingness to try to improve oneself. Batman fights it on the ground, dismantling large crime families as much as he stops muggers and rapists. Bruce Wayne fights it with money, with charm, with charities riddled with more good people than bad. the societal corruption Batman and Bruce Wayne is fighting is a wealthy, white, uppercrust aristocracy. and you know what's a part of that aristocracy? toxic masculinity and a near pathological refusal to be close to people. if Batman is really going to be a story about fighting against society and a rich man trying to use his privilege for good Bruce Wayne has to be shown fighting that influence even within his own home, by reaching out to his kids and being soft and sweet with them and not a bullshit toxic male fantasy that punches them in the face to prove a point (looking at the fucking court of owls dick grayson issue) he doesn't have to be perfect but he HAS to be more good than bad.

you can make the argument of Batman seeing them as soldiers and Bruce Wayne seeing them as his kids and the inherent conflict between the two but he has. to be. a good. father.

bakugou and todoroki headcanons

- bakugou: ‘i hate you’ todoroki, who doesn’t even know his name: ‘umm i’m really sorry to hear that…bryan’

- they crab-walk in the halls to intimidate each other

- todoroki: ‘you remind me of a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich on rye with extra pickles hold the mayonnaise’ bakugou: ‘yeah?! well you-‘

- bakugou: ‘actually wait what’ todoroki crying: ‘i don’t know man i’m just really hungry’

- bakugou throws paper at todoroki’s head in class. todoroki catches it in his mouth and just. chews and swallows

- todoroki, struggling to remember his name: ‘b-backpain’

3. I saw Jungkook interact with x member (Yes, it’s rarely Jimin whose actions make these pressed anons question their loyalty)

4. And I have to say …it seems pretty legit. (Yes, Jikook could have just fed us a 5 course meal but for these “km supporters”, Jungkook so much as looking at another member for more than a millisecond invalidates it all)

5. Please help me (there can sometimes be a cry for help, poor little lost sheep just need to find their way back to the jikook pasture)

That it’s scripted!!!!! These are fake pressed anons who literally send anon messages to larger/popular Jikook accounts as a way to plant seeds of doubt and convince your large network of followers jikook isn’t real. 

I know, this sounds so ridiculous, petty, and truly doing the most,  but I’m not lying!!! It is hysterical how some people take shipping SO seriously and are SO invested in their ship that they literally spend their time writing fake messages! LOL

I love Jikook and I love supporting them it’s not that serious. If you resort to sending fake messages because you think convincing people Jikook isn’t real will make your ship more real…it is time to find a different hobby!
