the thing about the talia writer is so depressing because like finally an own voices writer, and like positive arab representation is basically nonexistent, and i get not wanting to financially support someone who ships incest but right now i feel like an arab writer writing an arab character is more important, like if this doesnt succeed dc might not hire another arab writer ever like this news is more upsetting to me and other arab fans than any other non arab, but we're a minority group that is only every characterised as terrorists or with other racial stereotypes, so to me personally the representation right now is more important than what the writer ships, as long as she doesn't let it influence her writing, and shes not writing jason or tim, finally having an arab writer is a win even if it is one step forward two steps back

As I'm writing this post there's over 2000 people dead in Morocco and more are injured and wounded, not counting people still stuck under the rubble.
