Maya would probably tell her younger self to stop being an idiot and just tell Rose she likes her already lol. In all seriousness, she would tell her younger self that life is going to get crazy, it's going to be hard, and it's going to hurt like hell, but that she is stronger than she will ever know. Take care of Lily, Dahlia isn't as scary once you get to know them, and Death isn't a nice guy at all. Your going to lose your current parents, but you'll find new ones that love you and Lily like their own. Mom isn't a good person, but cherish the time you have with her. This is my D&D character Nyx (one on the left) with @bitter-goodbyes D&D character Florian! A little bit about Nyx is that she is a moon elf and the daughter of the nobles of Phlan. She is adopted, and she hates her adoptive parents as they are tyrants and abusive to her kind. The only reason they adopted her was to boost their PR with the elves in the country, and now they are absolute tyrants and oppressors. She is a sorceress and has a partner named Athen (they/them). She rebelled against her family and fought the army they sent to burn part of the village because they "corrupted" their daughter after they found out she and Athen were dating. Now she is an assassin working for the Collective, hates humans, and is very sassy and kind of a b word before you get to know her. If you want to know more about Florian ask @bitter-goodbyes, his backstory is very interesting and they deserve more love. BTW, no base this time and bonus points if you can tell me why my character's name is Nyx!

Hey guys I’m back again with my OC ship showcase! I am aware shipruary 2024 is going to start soon but I’m a procrastinator and haven’t been on in a while so we’re just going to ignore that. Day 7 is movie so we have Xiya (blonde) and her girlfriend Faye (brunette) watching a movie on Xiya’s laptop. You can imagine whatever movie you think they are watching, I think Morbius because those are the only appropriate faces to make when watching that movie. Anyway into the lore! Xiya Pierce is one of my spider people OCs but she does exist in the same world as all my other OCs. Her hero name is Taser Web because she has a venom shock but she can also shoot web out of her wrist and these webs are high conductive to her venom shock. So she basically shoots mini tasers. She is a cheerleader (or was until she got bit) and has severe ptsd! Essentially how she got bit is she was kidnapped by Gradient (evil science organization and the big bads of this world remember them lol) and was forced to stay still as the spider was put on her hand and bit her. Sad thing is she didn’t even realize she had powers until she got out thanks to Incantation. Speaking of incantation let’s talk about her! Faye Conway is my magic user/ sorceress character. Her hero name is incantation and she is essentially able to do anything with magic but she has to develop and practice the spells herself. It takes a while to make a new spell but she tries to make it work. Anyway she has known Xiya since middle school so when Xiya went missing Faye didn’t rest until she found her. They started dating a little bit after and now Faye’s main focus is helping Xiya overcome her trauma. They’re actually both theatre kids (Faye managed to convince Xiya to try out for a play after she quit cheerleading and the rest is history) and they’re one of the few characters who actually have good parents that aren’t dead or dying! That was a lot I just love them so much. As always base is included check them out they are so talented and hopefully I can post more regularly now.

🎭 with Dahlia?

Ok with Dahlia it's complicated because she is a ghost, the daughter of the grim reaper to be exact. Because of this only certain people can see her. Maya can because their souls are connected, and Maya and Dahlia both allow Rose, Ollie, and Jackson to see her. Because of this, you can't really say how she acts around strangers, but she HATES her dad. Like, she went down to the human realm to make sure he wasn't too swamped with work by preventing sudden or unnecessary deaths, found friends and a queer platonic partner, and he decided that since she got too attached, he created the judgement day, where every 10,000 years all hell breaks loose, literally. It was so bad that instead of going back to him when her mortal body died, she locked her soul into a locket and is now dedicating her entire life to spite him by helping prevent judgement day. She is super sarcastic, and has trouble understanding human emotions, but she genuinely means well, she can just be mean at times. Here are some examples:

Jackson: If I punch myself and It hurts, am I weak or strong?

Maya: Weak.

Rose: Strong!

Dahlia: A dumbass. Is what you are.

Example 2:

Maya: I'm weak and useless and can't do anything right!

Dahlia: No you're not, it's ok!

Maya: I miss my dad!

Dahlia: Oh, that's deeper than I want to go.

Day 8 of the OC ship showcase! This time it’s stars so I saw this comic base with the Christmas star and said close enough lol. This was also supposed to be posted around Christmas so I’m late to both. Anyway, let’s get into the lore! Zephora is the purple one she’s an alien and the only one with powers alive in her species. Those with powers were seen as oracles for their ability to control and manipulate stars and space, and because they are able to predict the future with this power when trained but then they were taken advantage of and the massacre of those with these powers ensued. Zephora managed to escape with the help of a friend after her family gave her up when she discovered these powers. Zephora was captured by earth scientists for a while (she had amnesia caused by the scientists to prevent her from fighting back) and in the lab she met Jozlyn (the one with black hair and pink tips) who has empathic powers. One of Jozlyn’s eyes actually changed color and her pupil changes shape based on her emotions like Ink! Sans. These two are probably my most trauma free, wholesome couples because Jozlyn has GOOD PARENTS who stop at nothing to get her out of the lab and the authorities in this case weren’t corrupt and Jozlyn took Zephora with her and now she’s teaching her about earth (and yes, Jozlyn made the “I ❤️ earth shirt for her). I love them so much I can’t. Also I think I messed up on the eye placement of her different eye it’s supposed to be on the left side, but I think one of the panels I drew it on her right. I still can’t tell though so let me know. As always the base is credited and please check them out I love all the comic bases they make.

They're just an 8 year old that wants a family that loves and cares for them. They have superpowers that allow them to bring drawings to life, and have been hunted, experimented on, and abandoned. For goodness sake when Zane, their adoptive father, found them, they were starving, freezing, sick, and without a name. They deserve a family, that's their greatest wish. And it's not so much how far they are willing to go, but how far others are willing to go to protect the bean and make that wish come true. They must be protected at all costs.
