Quiwi was an intresting, almost ghost like little girl, there were many theories about this little orphen, some people said her biological mother kept her and had her in secret, keeping her nameless duaghter hidden in her basement until the age of five when she was found by police officers who werebusting her mom for drug dealing to minors, then was haistily taken into the foster system where she got imidietly picked by a lovly gay couple despretly wanting kids. Others say Quiwi's lack of a name was due to her being lab-made by a secret expirementation facility that was later busted down, this theory seemed to be confirmed by a simple detail, the fact that whenever Quiwi was asked to write her name, instead of handing in a misspelled 'Quiwi' or 'Quince' or other name that stairted in 'Qui' she'd simply write '???' On the paper. She was a perculiar little girl, she lived with her adoptive parents in an apartment in a street called 'queens' in the third apartment block on the first or second floor. Her parents; a young, trans gynocologist named Adam with hispanic roots and a love for martial arts and fighting, and an aphrican-amarican college dance and arts teacher named Reeve, both treated her with enough love to send someone to a coma yet she'd sometimes be seen wondering outside at night with her lovinly nicknamed pet opposum 'ratty' into the late hours of the cold, dark winter, volentearing at homeless shelters and food banks until late and sleeping with homeless people under the bridge that went over the empty, man-made river near the park where rain water was supposed to gather and pour into the sewege system. She was often seen with a young, feral looking boy, with black hair and blue eyes, who refused to wear anything but warm baggy sweatpants and a closed shawl even during the coldest winter day of the year. Quiwi herself was a phenomenon, loking no older than twelve yet acting as if she were 16 or older, she had short brunette hair and wild amber eyes that seemed almost enchanting, she always wore a big, poofy pink dress with a matching bow in her hair, paired with dark blue, rainbow-striped tights, (usually) a pair of fuzzy boots, a T-shirt with a sunflower on it and a baby pink sleeveless snow jacket, the sunflower on her shirt was always the same one, with a big, light-yellow center and sharply triangular orrenge petals.

No one knew the trueth behind this family, people tried to guess but were always far from it, they'd never guess what was really happening to this family of missfits or how they came together though the truth was simple. For example: adam came from an affair between his mother and a god of war, being a mere 16 yearold girl when the truth came out his parents divorced, leaving him alone with his dad as his mom moved to Berlin to be with family, he was later kicked out due to being pregnant at the age of 17 and lost the baby on the night of his 18th birthday in a back ally with some very bad men with crowbars. Reeve himself was a true abomanation of nature, both his mothers were gods yet he ended up mortal, his mothers are Medusa and Athena and the pregnancy that carried him was caused by the magic of a certin goddess his mother medusa turned to after being felt neglected when athena had drowned herself in work during the war that accured around that time 25 years ago, after the two fought and made amends to eachother Reeve, a healthy boy gorgon, was born and they moved to amarica before moving to England. As for Quiwi? It was natural she couldnt remember her name, after all, who would after so many years in the forest, singing with the trees, sleeping with the animals, and talking and dancing with the spirits of the past, especially a specific lenape spirit which she lovingly calls 'ratty', a blue eyes boy, with black hair, coverd in mud and trible paints, it was only a matter of time 'till she'd forget all her past, her name, her mother, her home, and the tall flames that made it all end.

A couple posts back, I came up with a dramatic thought that Sidon goes into a horny craze and shags Link, on the verge of making him unconscious.

So my current thought is, while Sidon is being apologetic the entire time afterward, Link doesn't seem to get better. Hungry, nervous, but a near constant ache in his body. It's like all of his stamina is being depleted. Sidon fears the worst: he hates him. Lady Yona, care taker of Zora's Domain, opts to help she sees how it's grating on her fiancé.

Idk through Zora-ness, she figured out the situation. She's trying to be there for Sidon's best (boy)friend but Link is just like ??? Because damn, horny spiral ham consequences and someone's going to need to tell Sidon about it. Yona maybe gives him options (and a timeline) and Link is just beside himself. He's caught between wanting keep the little landshark because he loves Sidon and not wanting to hurt Sidon because he already beat himself up over what happened. And that doesn't even touch how it would look politically.

Meanwhile it's been weeks and he's gone from wearing the frostbite set to full cover everywhere. He's spending more time with Yona and she has told Sidon nothing because it would go against Link's wishes if she had. He wanted to be able to say something himself. Sidon is just kicking himself and tries to not hurt when Link turns away when he enters.

I got a lot of asks about Narinder's resurrection. At first I planned to do only one page, maybe two, and put the rest in the description. But as I said a few times, I'm not good at writing, I feel much more comfortable in making comics. And there'll be more parts for sure, because I couldn't sleep one night so I was thinking and planning the rest of the plot

I feel like Nathan from heartstopper should be jewish, mainly because im jewish and my dad is friends with a maroco desent jewish woman which means we go to Mimonas almost every year after passover and i feel like Nathan would have a maroco desent jewish friend and would go to Mimonas and drag Youssef with him during their first year together, i feel like Youssef himself would come from a christian-islamic household but he himself is an athiest that celebrates islam and christian holidays but doesnt practice any religius activity, and he definitly was never quite exposed to other religions or holidays. Nathan practices less then most jews, he'd do shabat dinner and he'll definitly celebrate the holidays but for stuff like passover he celebrates with friends and never hosts.

Which brings me to the Mimona.

One random day Nathan tells Youssef its a holiday named passover and he's headed to passover dinner with his friends and asks Youssef if he wants to come. Youssef says no because he's tired and for the next 2 weeks Nathen just wont eat bread and wont explain why because he assums Youssef just knows when he doesnt, then after 2 weeks Nathen comes over to Youssef and he goes ''babe, go put on something nice, we're going to my friend Moshit for a Mimona'' and Youssef asks ''whats that?'' And he says ''maroco desent household tradition now get dressed'' 10 minutes later they're at a strangers house with arabic and hebrew music blasting on the speakers, a bunch of people speaking hebrew and a group of 6 women, a tall muscular dude and 4 teenage girls in the kitchen working over boiling pots of oil with dough and baking sheets making what looks to be deformed doughnuts (sphinge) and wierd dough pancakes stacked ontop of eachother (mophleta). Within 0.3 seconds Nathen is in the kitchen cheering and singing in hebrew and helping make sphinge with a middle aged woman, the tall muscular dude and a 16 yearold girl, who apon spoting her he picks her up, dough in hand, and spins her around before giving her a kiss on the cheek. After all the dough is too watery to work Nathan goes to the livingroom and starts to dance to the arabic and hebrew music playing on the tv speakers, someone, god knows who, hands him a baby, he holds her for aproximetly 5 minutes and just dances with her until her father comes back, they kiss eachother on the cheek and he leaves, Nathan is soon joined by the 16 yearold girl from earlyer, she calls him 'uncle Shmoopi' for some reason, apon asking Nathan tells Youssef that ''Shmoopi is everyone that isnt me'' which explains NOTHING before proceeding to feed him a sphinge, then for some reason Charlie Spring is there because his parents are ALSO friends with Moshit and he's friend with the 16 yearold girl, Sunny, and has been her friend for 12 years and they both speak hebrew, suddenly 'fireball' plays. 5 hours later at 1 AM Nathan is drunk off his feet and will probably enter a food coma the moment he comes home because of all the carbs he's eaten that night. Youssef drives home and he has NO CLUE what the FUCK just happend, right before they leave Charlie and Sunny ask if they can go with and have a sleepover, both their parents said yes, Nathan agrees, they proceed to spend the next two hours making a baked cheesecake with cranberry syrup on top while watching an Israeli show named 'checkout' on Netflix.

My headcanon is that Nathens family is very complicated

So with that being said heres why:

First up, he's got 2 dads and a mom -

His bio dad, Yuval, who his mother had him amd his oldest sister, Tillie, with before divorcing him. He writes children's books and now lives with his girlfriend Amilia and her son Allie. Nathen, Tilly and their adopted brother see him as an uncle because he was never really a dad to them. He's 54

His bio mom, Hilla, who works as a docter, she's 53 and she's jewish which ties into my prior post about how i hc Nathan as jewish.

And his step-dad, Marc, who is a secretery at a law firm, he's 51. Him and Hilla adopted a son together.

Then theres his siblings -

Tillie, the eldest is 35 years old and works at a cranberry farm. She lives near the countryside with her girlfriend, Jolene (36, a vet), he boyfriend, Peter (34, an elementary teacher), and Jolene's twin kids, Jimmy and Jemma who are both 7

Tatsou, he's japanese and the adoptive older brother to Nathan, he's 29 and has a degree in plantology and medicine. During college he worked as a tattoo artist and he was actually the one who gave Nathan his first tattoo at 18, its on his right shoulder blade, a feather with the initials of all his family members and his childhood dog, owen, who passed the week before at 15. After that he worked as a chiropractor/massues before he moved to an island that i made up for my heartstopper AU that also applies to the AU that this exists in, Zoria, which is (according to my AU) a half hour ferry ride from the nearst british shore, the entire island is a nature reserve and educational resort that uses the help of locals to teach history and preserve nature, Tatsou's job is simple, he takes care of the greenhouse and teaches tour groups about native plants and extinc native plants. This was how he met Juwon, his fience, an african american man who specializes in aquatics and marine biology who is one of the many guides for the tour groups. (They were both inspired by tatsuo and juwon from dolightful's youtube channel, i just cant not cross the fandoms and make up backstories for them, i love them too much!!)

Then theres the grandparents:

Nona, a 70ish yearold korean woman, adopted Nathan's mom when she was 2, she raised her as a single mother for 10 years before dating and marrying an italian man named Gustavo, who is currently in his mid 70's. They both worked as teachers which what inspired Nathen to become one

And lastly there is the traditions:

• if any family member is sick the others, apon being notified, must send them ingridients for nona's soup in express shipping and the sick person must send them a photo of the finished soup to show that they are okay

• a tattoo is family bonding, if Tillie, Tatsuo or Nathen want to get a tattoo both their siblings will come with, this isnt optional

• once every 2 months they all come over to Hilla and Marc's house to watch a move and eat a massive bowl of boba pearls, fruits, honey and milk mixed together (i forgot what its called) and then watch movies in pijamas

• every morning you have to send the color of your shirt in the family group chat and if another person is wearing the same color shirt as you you have to facetime them, no exceptions
