As much as I love the Layla x Warren ship the idea of them just being best friends who will just cancel on their plans with their significant others and be like “sorry I can’t I promised Warren I’d be his cat’s drug dealer” or “I gotta go with Layla to this protest.” I just like the idea of the two of them being there for eachother after all the stuff in the movie.

I was on zoom attending my great grandfather’s funeral yesterday. He was pretty religious but the good kind where he didn’t care what you identified as, at least sexuality wise we never got to talk about gender spectrum, and when we got to the part where the priest said “peace be with you” and people actually responded with “and your spirit” I was in shock. I was flabbergasted at this comidian’s story unfolding in my living room. I haven’t gone to church since my mom dragged me there for Easter like three years ago and I thought of just walking out with my smallest sister who was getting restless anyway but then we’d both get whoped at as soon as it was over. I too had that moment of “what’s happening? The actually changed it? That’s the thing they wanted to change?”. They either had people firing guns out side of the church as a respect thing or someone was in a turf war with the seagulls outside during the viewing. Rest In Peace Grampy, if you’re still traveling have fun, also have fun figuring out what to do now that you have swapped wives.
