In all honesty, I've never understood why people should think demons would speak Latin when they're trying to be all evil and scary. I mean, have you heard how mellifluous Latin sounds? If you ask me, any demon trying to make an impression while frightening the wits out of humans would be speaking German, not a Romance language.
