I love your blog but I follow for aviation. Wtf is with the gore porn lately?

I don’t feel it’s “gore porn”, rather part of our American history. If you think about the purpose of aviation, or at least military aviation- it was established basically for air WARfare. I don’t reblog for “gore porn”, I do it because I love war history things and I love learning. Most of the military blogs I follow- I research the photos posted so I can learn about the content in the photo- not just enjoy a photograph. My goal isn’t to be offensive but I DO post things that I am interested in.

You ever write up a post you decide will be too controversial or embarrassing but leave it in your drafts to sleep on and then forget about it? How about real personal stuff you weren’t sure you wanted to share at the time? Heavy-ass receipts on bad shit you’re leaving there only just in case you’re forced to use them? Mine was the F-14 for a long time, but I love the F-15 equally as much now. Nice to see someone with the same taste in aircraft as me.

Favorite fighter jet?

Well, that’s a tough question, my first thought was to say F-15 but I just love carrier operations waaaaaay too much to just put it aside so my favorite fighter is the F-14 Tomcat, mainly because of it’s size and wings, i think it’s beautiful the way it lands and how the wings move when accelerating.
