Okay, so I know I'm like 20 years late, but I just finished watching Danny Phantom for the first time since I was a kid and I have a lot to say. (Most of it's been said already in the posts I've seen here.) But the thing I really want more than anything, is a reboot where they're in senior year instead and it's not tv-y7 where the darker themes they mention in passing can be thoroughly explored because can you imagine if they did it right?! (I mean the show is great and so so unique but the potential it had to be better!)
Like senior year going into college, the exestienal dread of having to figure out what you want to do with your life and then dying but not and now having to protect the ones you love from ghosts while making sure you finish with a high enough GPA to get into college cause you're from a family of geniuses and you're expected to but now not knowing if you even can because of the accident and the role you now have to play and watching all your peers get to have that choice and you can't even figure whats going on with your body and it's horrifying and ghosts are (actually) scary as shit (cause it's horror now not comedy) and no one around you really gets it and you learn your friends kind of suck but they're all you have and oh you have a whole realm of enemies who never really stop hunting you for sport on top of the guy who wants to fuck your mom and makes it everybody's business and oh yeah, you're kind of dead!
Oh yeah and the concept of how ghosts become ghosts and the sad truth that Danny's not fighting inherently evil beings but people who died including one five year old! And the fact that his parents would quite literally gut him alive if they caught him. That horror is brushed aside way too much in canon. And then when his parents find out in the two season finales that they do they just "oh Danny you should have told us you know we love you no matter what" like uh you just said if you ever caught his putrid, evil, ectoplasm being that you would rip him apart molecule by molecule but sure, let's pretend the son that you ignore more than speak too and literally couldn't tell that he'd been replaced by a robot that he would have been okay telling you that your ignorance and lack of safety protocol killed him and turned him into the very thing you hate.
Like, please, it would be so good.
In my humble opinion
Chat,
I have a question.
I have been on archive for about a decade but i have never written anything in a series (the hyperfixations usually wear off too fast)
However!
I have some malevolent ideas I'd like to write and i could string them together into one big story. But I only have semblances of events and nothing really coherent between them. I could just have the chapters have weird time jumps and stuff between them. Or I could just write each scenario as it's own thing and then string them together in a series and hope it resembles a story.
I feel so honored, I've never been tagged in one of these things! So thank you!

This one is for grammarly.
I see you.
I see you after all you've done to me.
You come in, sweep me off my feet, correct my comma usage and wrap me around your little finger making me dependent on you.
You taunt me with your premium features, making me wish I had just a little more money to fully commit to you and you never go on any good sale.
Then you drop me into a filthy hole with the rest of the garbage by incorporating ai that can't tell the difference between its and it's and leave me to rot.
So I move on, I find something better than you could ever be. Just for you to flash a 50% off sale in my face like we were nothing. Like I never meant a goddamn thing to you.
Now you want me back?!?!
After all this, this how you want to wine and dine me back into your arms?
Well, I won't play your game. I've grieved our parting already and now I feel nothing but utter indifference toward you.
Okay so it's like an energy level thing? More powerful and easier to use in one form vs the other?
Y'all, i have a very important question
What does "going ghost" do for Danny other than change his body from human to ghost?
Cause it's shown many times that he doesn't need to be in ghost form to use his ghost powers. Does it give him the super strength or something? Like what does it do?
I know that it's okay to be cringe and everything, but I'm kind of regretting my whole "don't delete any of your writing because 1) you'll be able to track your progress as a writer and feel better about your current writing and 2) you don't wanna be the asshole who deletes someone's comfort story" rule because I wanna start posting fanfic again, but I don't wanna be tied to all the cringe I wrote pre 2020.
Just concepts. I was trying to write a scene and was getting caught on the logistics of it

We english speakers need more words for Laugh that have different emotional connotations. I can feel the authors of the past shaming me from the great beyond as I attach adverbs to every he laughed. Cause He laughed shyly, he laughed sadly, and he laughed softly, are all different vibes and there's too many adverbs everywhere but I have no alternatives that work for the situation!
I've fixed it!!!!! I can now finish chapter 9! It's the new windows update that's killing me. Hopefully I can get this done soon
Guys,
The universe (windows defender) is keeping me from finishing this next chapter. For some god awful reason the anti-virus software is taking up more than 50% of my computer's memory and I can't keep my document tabs open for more than thirty seconds at a time to write.
I have tried searching for this problem literally everywhere it's even typed "reddit" at the end of my search and have tried everything I found. Nothing is working. I won't be able to finish the chapter until I can get my computer to work.
If anyone has struggled with antimalware service executable like this, id love some help.
The hardest part about writing is admitting to yourself that something isn't working and being willing to start over or even just reread what you've done and then try again after.
