Made This Little Comic Over A Year Ago And Then Completely Forgot About It And Now The Computer That

Since there is no Snatcher to fight in the Subcon Kingdom au, of course the final boss of Subcon in this au is gonna be Queen Vanessa. The prince absolutely deserves to kick some Vanessa butt.

For this instance, the prince manipulates Hat Kid for his own gain. He doesn’t do it maliciously and feels very bad doing so, but he really has no other option because he knows that there isn’t anything he can do on his own to face Vanessa now that she’s free from her confinement.

Prior to this point, he both learned of Time Piece’s time manipulation capabilities and that Hat Kid is able to vaguely sense their location. That last bit, combined with his awareness of how crazy strong and skilled Hat Kid is, leads to him having the final time piece in his possession as he waits outside of the boss arena for Hat Kid, who obviously arrives. He doesn’t outright force her to help him–providing her the option to help if she wants to or not–but he’s familiar enough with her to know she will indeed lend her aid.

Not entirely sure what the battle itself would be like. I have some vague ideas, but currently it is that Hat Kid acts as a distraction, keeping Vanessa’s attention on her to allow the prince to lob blue potions at the queen. On top of that, Hat Kid’s umbrella acts a lot like the mirror shield from Legend of Zelda, protecting against and even repelling Vanessa’s magic attacks. Not certain what exactly happens to Vanessa after she’s defeated, but she’s probably sealed up in some much more permanent manner.

After everything is taken care of and the prince is finally freed from his constant worry and stress about Vanessa, he admits to Hat Kid what he had done and how he used her and is super, super apologetic about the entire thing. He probably will never forgive himself for having done this to her (even though she’s super chill and doesn’t entirely understand what he had done other than the fact that he didn’t go out of his way to try and kill her). Either way, he freely presents the final time piece to Hat Kid and this is where we get this drawing of the prince holding the time piece with Hat Kid hugging him.

“Okay, time to get adjusted here. Prince time’s over, now to be a noodle. Got my body, got my arms, okay, now to duck down into the hole. This is my hole; it was made for me. Alright. Now to turn on the voice modulator. (Voice shifts into Snatcher voice) Testing. Testing. Okay! Voice of the legion is on. Now I am an evil contractor monster. Wait, that’s redundant, let me fix that. Now I’m a contractor. (Pause) We’re cutting this out, right? What do you mean no? What do you mean you’re texting this to our contractor? No! *Snatcher laughter*”

“Oh, pfff. (Laughs) I’m in frame. (Shifts into Snatcher voice) Wait a minute, who let this nerd on stage he’s supposed to be dead!?”

(Laughs) “A Llama-!? Wait, wrong movie.”

“FOOO—nope, nope, that isn’t it. (Clears throat) FOOO—(coughs) Oh, wow, oh gosh no. (Clears throat harder) FOOO—(coughs again and breaks down into laughter). This is so hard to do right (laughs).

“I just want you to know that if you get scared, I’m right behind the big noodle, okay? Alright, you’re doing great by the way. (Clears throat) HAHAHAHAHA! FOOOOOL!! You steps into my for—pfffff. How dare you, stop being adorable. I can’t be evil if you’re going to be adorable like that.”

(Whispering) “Are you sure we can’t just make another puppet and sew the mailman hat on it ya—ya—you know what? (Voice dissolves into fake eating noises as Snatcher puppet picks up mailman hat with mouth with muffled laughter) Mwhahaha, there!”

“Now—(phone suddenly to goes off and continues to go off) Really? Whoever that phone belongs to, you just lost your soul privileges.” (Distant voice cries out ‘Sorry’)

“You know I’ve learned that noodles and hats don’t work well together. On a related note, your hat is very snackable.”

“What do you mean I’m not getting any benefits? I should sue! Once this nerd carries me to my trailer that is!”

“Oh peck—(stutters before chuckling and shifting into Snatcher voice) Woah, language! That’s a quarter for the swear jar.”

My friend (who can’t get back into his tumblr blog, which sucks) agreed to voice act some Puppet AU(?) stuff, and I got his permission to post it, so enjoy~!

Okay, here are a few random ideas I thought of:

The village coming back to life as people find it again, and Elderbug watching happily

Young Hornet, possibly with her mom or with her nail when it was too big for her.

Sly before he becomes a merchant, when he was the Great Nailsage. Possibly while he was teaching young Oro, Mato, and Sheo.

Cloth reuniting with Nola. (Nola us mentioned a lot by cloth, but Nola is never actually seen in the game.)

Decided Sly gets to have had a fluffy collared cloak in the past that the Nailmaster Brothers decided to copy for their own signature cloaks. Honestly, everyone deserves a fluffy collared cloak.

Then of course tiny baby Hornet is always fun to draw.

Stressful shift at work left me wanting to draw characters relaxing (plus meme), so I drew some @post-it-notes7 Mirrorverse! Their art and storytelling is so freaking good!

This is my understanding of Dark Meta Knight's personality (at least the first half). I was going to have some actual weapon come down on him, but couldn't get the angle right. So I picked the cutest enemy that can be found in the mirror world and now Chip is out for blood.

Mir Nonsurat and Shadow Kirby just sitting in comfortable silence as they watch a mirror together is just so freaking precious to me.

Mir Galacta deserves to relax on a bed of flowers and not have to be introduced to and deal with any of the drama and politicking that the mirror world seems to have in spades.

Ugh, posting on mobile is a pain. If anything's off, blame that and the fact that I'm tired
