My take on rainwings!! Rainwings are my favorite tribe overall bc I’m a basic bitch and I like me colors :]

I made them really longgg and tiny cuz I love them. ( I prob won’t actually draw their bodies this long, it’s just rlly exaggerated ^^* )

They are literally the most op snakes- like they are both a venomous and constricting snake with their fucking acid teeth spittle and their prehensile tails, and I feel like everyone just ignores their tails unless they are hanging upsidown. Like they grip onto things without them even realizing it, they have no control. They can literally hold objects like an extra talon and no one uses that!!

I also love giving them 2 pairs of horns and snake heat sensors!! They have a lot more snake features overall. I also give them bird-like back feet and hooked claws for climbing! And their frills are connected to their ears and r rally loooong and big and poofy outy and I love the so much-😭 ^^

Or, hear me out, they were like siamese cats.

They developed this melanin mutation from living in the cold mountains.

Their basically heat maps of themselves.

While their colors still reflect their fire they slowly grow darker and darker with age due to lack of insulating body fat and sensitivity to the cold.

What if skywing were coloured based on the hotness of their fire?

Darker and red skywings are looked down upon and lighter yellow/white sky wings are treated better.

Blue skywings are treated almost like royalty and light blue ones are extremely rare.

Lighter white blue skywings are often mistaken for icewings by other dragons.

There hasn’t been a white blue skywing born in centuries, and they are talked about like angels.

Imma make new designs for the wof tribes. I might switch between designs every once in a while for a more "cannon" design and my wof character series will be in that style because it's more book accurate (yes I'm still working on it) but otherwise I will be using the new style from now on/until I make new designs. If you guys have any design ideas to include for the new designs feel free to comment them! I hope you guys like the new designs as much or more than the old ones. Icewings! My style!

Ive finally settled on giving them dark limbs and reindeer antlers but I’m open to suggestion!

I gave them thick fur that protects them from the cold and harden into quills on their backs, necks and tails like porcupines! I also love giving them serrated claws and teeth, which are used for gripping slippery ice and prey! They would mostly use their serrated teeth to tear through the thick blubber on most of their prey, like seals and walruses! And I love them having really dark blue eyes like their blood from cannon!

I always give sandwings spotted inner ears and no top head horns

I also gave them a more bottom heavy build like a velociraptor so that they can stand/run on their hind legs! ^^
