Can someone please tell me what fanfiction this is? I need it
this fandom has truly ruined my ability to look like a normal person who doesn't just randomly snort with laughter to myself with no explanation at any given moment... because so many times a day I'll just be sitting there minding my own business and then suddenly remember some lawlight fanfic I saw one time where L's real name was revealed to be "Lustice"
I actually think this is a thing with anime in general, from what I’ve noticed.
Also, a lot of factors go into weight, like bone density for example. What counts as a healthy weight isn’t universal. I knew someone who went to see a doctor in Japan and was told they were overweight even though they were very thin and didn’t have any fat.
What the FUCK is up with the DN wiki's take on the characters' weights??? There ain't no fuckin way L is 110 lbs at 5'11. That's a BMI of 15 (way way way below healthy). He'd look like Eugenia Cooney.
For context I'm 5'1 and when I weighed 100 lbs I was a 00 in pants size! I was so small I struggled to find clothes small enough for me (granted I live in America).
Like realistically for his size he's probably roughly 130 lbs (which is still close to underweight for his height). Where the hell did they get 110 lbs??
And all the tall characters are like this. Light is 119 and Lidner is 115 when realistically they should be like 140. Lidner is thin but she is a bodyguard so she should have muscle which weighs more than fat so she might actually be a little more than that.
There's no way I'm overthinking this like it's just not possible people who are nearly 6 ft tall are under 130 without looking deadly thin.
My friend translate it from Japanese to Chinese, so I translate it from Chinese to English. Dunno the artist, just saw it on Tumblr. This is the post if you want to read Japanese. Also, if anyone would like to help translate wammys’ Japanese doujinshi, please message me, let’s work together!
Torque was the star of their high school's football team.
He was a quiet and focused and kept to himself. So none of his teammates really noticed anything was off about him.
Dib did though.
One of the most interesting ways that Christocentrism rears it’s ugly head is when a Jewish person does something because of our religion and here come all the ex-xtian atheists to say “GOD DOESNT CARE IF YOU EAT PORK” or “YOURE NOT GONNA DIE IF YOU WORK ON SATURDAY”.
Like yeah, no shit. As a Jew I don’t fear god. I don’t think he is gonna impose consequences on me if I break his rules. That’s not how the relationship works.
If I do something because Jewish tradition says to, it’s because I’m honoring my community and keeping my culture alive. God doesn’t really enter the equation. He can have given us a rule, but if you know any Jews you know we have nine to eleven ways of following any rule and it depends on what suits us in the situation.
So if you slip a Jewish person trief to “show them” that nothing bad will happen to them, you are an asshole of the highest order and have fundamentally misunderstood the rule they’re seeking to follow.
Judaism does not include fear of God. It is a partnership with history and community and culture. And god can come, too, if he promises to be cool about it.
Zen had always admired Jaehee. Getting to know her had only reinforced that.
And he would defend her no matter what
I had the thought “this could be a fanfiction”
So I’m writing it :)
I thank the person who gave me this idea
Hi Neil, There's something I've been wondering since i watched the third episode of the second season for the first time: What were Elspeth's thoughts on that situation? I mean, she didn't know that Crowley and Aziraphale were an angel and a demon, she just saw this redheaded guy shrink in size then grow giant and then made her promise to be good. For the rest of her life, what did she think happened there?
That sounds like something that fanfiction exists to cover.
What's that poem about the cockroach and the moth where the cockroach is like "I wish I've ever wanted anything the way that moth wanted to burn itself up in that lantern" because we had to read that in high school and it still fucks me up to this day
