i think that childhood best friends to enemies trope is the most tragic thing to ever exist bc like. we’ve both done unspeakable things to each other and there’s no getting back to what we were at the start of this but there’s a part of me that still knows you like no one else could ever possibly know you. the whole idea of trust and devotion turned to a mutual, burning hunger to destroy each other.
