Magic and the wonders of Flavor & Scent

Below, I have written my personal headcanons for the color, scent, and flavor for the Sanses. These are the ones I have for the x reader roommates. If you guys wanna ask for personal requests (wink wonk) then don't be afraid to ask.

I'll put it under a suggestive tag as well just in case some of you may want to avoid those. I don't outright do 18+ often, but the comfort of others is important so bam, this is a warning. Anyways, enjoy!

Vanilla: His magic is more of a light blue. It smells of frost and pine while his magic tastes of light vanilla. It's not too overpowering, especially since he doesn't use it often and he has good control of his magic

Powder: His magic is a powder blue, especially since US is more of a pastel world to me. His magic smells of spearmint while his magic tastes like blueberry and cotton candy. It has a bit of a smoother taste

Red: His magic is a dark, crisis red. It smells of burning wood while his magic tastes of cherry limeade. His magic is stronger in tastes due to his LV

Saint: His magic is a cornflower blue despite his red eyelight. His magic smells of veviter and sandalwood while his magic tastes of vanilla and apple. It has a bit of an overwhelming tastes due to his control of magic

Carmine: His magic is carmine red. His magic smells of frost and mint while his magic tastes like red raspberries. It's stronger in taste but smooth, a little overpowering

Razz: His magic is a blue-french violet. His magic smells of sugar and of something electric while his magic tastes like blackberries and dark chocolate. His magic tastes overwhelming with a smooth, strong flavor. It happens to have a tingling sensation afterwards due to the raw power he is on the brink of constantly losing

Wine: His magic is a wine red. His magic smells like pomegranate while his magic tastes like almond and wine. It is not too strong and it happens to have the smoothest in tastes since his magic is under extreme control

Dust: His magic is a slate blue violet shade. His magic smells of leather, citrus, and slightly of tobacco while his magic tastes of vanilla berry and slightly metallic. It's a bit of a tingling sensation afterwards since he has an overwhelming amount of LV. The reason for the hint of citrus is because of Pap's magic being fused with Dust's

- He is competitive in a passive way

- Likes to drink Tea since he would enjoy a cup with the Queen often

- He is picky about touch, and actively avoids giving it. He's slightly uncomfortable if someone initiates it, and depending on who it is, he'll go out of his way to make sure they don't touch him

- He was competitive with Razz before, and even found him to be annoying before they became friends

- He's close friends with Powder

- He had a horrible relationship with Gaster, and can only dream of him where he can recall good memories before it turns into something....bad

- He was super distant from Rus and yet overprotective in the underground. He didn't want others to truly see how much he cared in fear of others using it against him and his brother

- Won't admit it, but he wants praise and validation

- Will try to be rational before using violence, but will proceed to not hesitate if his opponent pushes him enough

- He feels the need to constantly be independent and he doesn't trust himself or others enough

- Intelligent, cynical, confident, intuitive, well spoken, loyal, clever, dedicated, perfectionist, reserved, serious, over-thinker, stubborn, blunt, and a workaholic

- Does not curse often, but he will when he deems it appropriate

- He is much slower to trust others, even if he secretly craves companionship

- Considers himself selfish while close with others, but he is only softer and more patient with loved ones

- Despite his big talk, it takes awhile for him to actually strike someone physically, since he prefers to de-escalate the situation or use intimidation tactics

- Despite the strange nickname Mutt for his brother, he does not actually mean it in a demeaning manner and only uses it sparingly

- A wonderful strategist, he's wonderful at collecting data on others and he uses this to his advantage. He is not below blackmailing someone

- He is heavily scarred but he is not ashamed of it

- A gentleman, he would never go beyond your comfort level as long as you respect his

- He is adamant with giving advice, but he gives space for you to decide. However, he doesn't listen to his own advice and doesn't know how to help someone with their relationships

- He will berate you, but not to demean you or cause you shame. He does it from a place of care

- He is a smooth talker, so he's great at flustering or disarming others if he needs to. However, despite his constant appearance of seeming to be put together, he's constantly tense and anxious

- Emotions are not his forte, so jealousy is something he deals with. He stews in it until confronted, and even then he struggles to face it

- When he apologizes, it is extremely sincere unless he is faced among other higher ups. He rarely will apologize, and only will do it if he deems someone worthy of it. Otherwise, he can suck up his emotions in the face of authority and pretend to actually apologize

- He appears ruthless to his guardsman, the lieutenant of the Royal Guard

- He hates beating around the bush, he's direct and can appear very blunt

- He does not care for PDA in any sense, since that puts him and his partner in a vulnerable position while somewhere dangerous

- Magic smells of frost and mint, his magic tastes like red raspberries

- Doesn't do it often, but he will cook his brothers favorite meals out of feeling bad or when he sees his brother isn't doing well

- Gets really frustrated if he cries, and is quite loud while trying to hide it

- He hates his dynamic with the Queen. He is loyal to no one but her Queen, and fights for her. He knows she has an interest in him, but in truth he does not care and is only acting. He only cares for his brother, and knows she will excuse his brothers actions as long as he works for her

- He makes chalupas and is a wonderful cook, but he doesn't do it often after being placed with the other skeletons

- Goes clothes shopping with Wine, they're quite close because of this

- He has yellowed bone and red magic due to his LV, stress levels, etc

- A romantic

- He gives handshakes or of formality, but otherwise he won't touch someone else

- He would call his lover love or his lovely

- He's tactful about his decisions, avoiding getting attention at all points because he feels that a lack of attention is safer

- Despite acting like he doesn't care, he actually deeply feels awful that he cannot show his love for those he cares about

- He would rather tear his tongue out than admit that he actually craves companionship

- He sacrificed a lot to get into the Royal Guard in order to keep him and Rus safe, he doesn't realize how badly Rus got affected though with his role in the Royal Guard since he doesn't see him as much as he wants to

- He got his scar over his eye from the Queen, but he pretends to not despise her for it even if he dislikes her

- He confuses acts of service as a way of earning love from someone, and in turn he gets confused when earning gifts. He doesn't ever understand when someone does something for him, let alone gifts. So, if someone shows their love to him, he is left to wonder if they want something in return. Only later on does it become a healthy habit for him to see affection for what it actually is

- He doesn't like to think about what would ever happen if his brother actually hates him, since that's quite literally his only family and the only person he'd kill or die for

- The amount of dust on his hands is hard to count, he doesn't like talking about it though

Closing Notes: He's a character I definitely have rewritten a lot since his origins are written by a proshipper, and that influences stuff a lot. I honestly have fun writing him though, especially with his dynamics with the other Sanses and his brother. Rus is next, so eat up🫡

- Quality Time: 37%. He feels like someone actually wants him around, and he appreciates seeing his partner be interested in what he says or enjoys. He appreciates a partner who doesn't dismiss him, it means a lot

- Physical Touch: 23%. To have someone kiss his skull or to excitedly run up to him makes him flustered, since he doesn't expect someone to so openly be affectionate with him. Sure, he'll weakly protest that they don't have to hug him or hold his hand, but he'll enjoy the feeling

- Words of Affirmation: 20% Being told supportive comments and even being complimented sometimes makes him shut down. He doesn't expect sincerity but when he gets it he doesn't know how to react, but appreciates it

- Gift Giving: 13%. If he's gifted something that he really likes, he'll kinda stare at it then at you with a hint of disbelief. He doesn't think someone actually cared enough to get him something, but he'll always use the gift when he can, and he'll be possessive of it

- Acts of Service: 7%. He usually prefers to do things himself if need be, but if he wakes up to see that his partner made him breakfast? He'll call you the best thing to ever grace the earth

- Physical Touch: 32%. Don't be surprised if he grabs your hand in public while looking away from you, or if he rests his head on you when you're busy. He trusts his partner enough to even lay his skull on their lap

- Quality Time: 29%. He wants you to know that he wants to be around you, show his interest by hanging out where he can just sit and laugh around with you

- Receiving Gifts: 13%. He thinks of you often, even if he's not around you, so he'll bring gifts when he can to show he appreciates you. It can be subconscious, but he knows what you like

- Acts of Service: 16% He'll do things he doesn't particularly like, such as running an errand or a chore if he sees you're stressed. He tends to coax you to relax and handle it, even if he does it begrudgingly

Details: He loves someone who can defend themselves and be confident. To see someone be willing to be stubborn and defend what they love makes him respect you, since he finds it attractive. If he's flirted with, expect him to kinda panic though, because he's not used to it. He'll usually flirt out of playfulness and he adores banter, but he only does this in the beginning of your friendship. He'll become more at ease if you can get him to laugh or if he gets to see you be amused by his tactics. He'll even do stupid shit if he can entertain you, because he loves people who can find him entertaining.

Red isn't as pervy as some people actually think. He makes joking innuendos, but he's actually quite respectful and struggles actually acting that way. He's actually someone that would do a double take if you wore something that had just a little more skin exposure. He'll get all flustered and compliment what you're wearing, but he will struggle to know where to put his hands. He doesn't want to seem weird, so he'll usually go to hold your hand or wrap around your arm. He would need you to guide his hands to where you want them placed, and he'll make sure to hold onto you more carefully. After all, he has claws and doesn't want to damage you. He'll kind of be in awe for how squishy and warm your flesh is, and kind of just be in a slight daze about it. He would need time to be comfortable, but even then he remains respectful.

He also finds attraction to those who are more honest and don't hide behind manners, since he wants to see someone be authentic to themselves. When it comes to romantic gestures, he will rarely offer to do dates and most of the time has to be asked. He'll struggle to be formal, so he'll appreciate a partner who doesn't need that pizzazz. Still, he'll bring you gifts and try to make your day better by making sure you smile the whole time. He'll give you his undivided attention and even throw dorky flirts at you unless he's too flustered. Which then he'll say things such as "you shouldn't flirt with me, I'm mean and scary" and yet he speaks with much more gentleness and ease. He won't give a lot of obvious PDA, but he'll hold your hand or wrap an arm around you. If someone bothers you, he's much more confrontational and protective. He'll get a bit aggressive, even if he doesn't do anything outright physical. He'll wrap an arm around you, check up to make sure you're doing alright, but be glaring the whole time while smiling. He'll flaunt a bit, and sometimes he'll be too stubborn to drop the situation unless it's dangerous for you. He loves you, and no one disrespects you. He can get jealous at times, but he never makes a big show about it or ignores you/is rude to you. He'll be quieter, a bit more clingy, and even deny that he's jealous. But, if you kiss his skull and reassure him, he'll melt and feel better at the assurance

When it comes to confessing his love for you, don't expect him to actually realize he did it. He takes a long time to realize that he has a crush on you, but when he does, he gets so shy that he starts to avoid you a bit if you are alone. He would go to Vanilla to recover, but he would refuse that he's actually just a sappy dork with you if he's teased. He would be a bit more obvious about his feelings for you based off knowing he has a crush on you. If he didn't know, he would just not realize that he's falling in love. He would have to be drunk off his ASS to accidentally confess to you. Just imagine him at Grillby's, drunk as hell, and you're with him having a good time. He'd be giggling with you and laughing, but at some point he is just kinda admiring you as you're laughing. He'd rest his cheek against the palm of his hand and his eyelight would flip to a heart as he's talking. He'd kind of zone out, before he'd ask "you know, it's crazy how much I love you, y'know?" and when you're unsure if he's being serious, you'd probably just laugh and joke that sure he does, he loves that you are a dork who makes sure that he takes care of himself. But no, he'd wave his hands in a cartoonish manner and his voice would just get all soft as he's laughing. "No, no. Well, I mean, that too- But-! I mean it, sweetheart. You're just so good to me, and when I look at you my soul just can't take it. How do you even like being around me?" And when you realize he's serious, you would be a little too buzzed to know how to react. You'd kinda lean into him, tease him. Well, you like being around him because he's good. He's a good monster, one that really cares about you. He'd drink from his glass, grin at you. "Yeah, you got that right! But I don't understand how you think I'm good, sweetheart. But...I trust your opinion," and you two would be called outside by Pitch. He knows that you and Red need a ride home. You'd both stumble, too drunk to really emotionally process anything. But as you both sit in the back and Pitch is scolding you, he'd be noticeably more cuddly with you. You two would be giggling, but Pitch would realize what happened when he heard the way you two are talking. "You're a lovable skeleton, Red." "Hell yes I am, I'm Mr. Hot stuff, sweetheart!" "No, you dork. I love you beyond that!" "Well I love you more," Pitch would lessen his scolding, listen in. He knows that Red is too drunk by the time you get home. He would make sure to help you two go to bed, to drink some water. Before you two part ways, you'd hug and drunkenly laugh together. But....by morning, you would be the only one to really remember what happened. Now, tell me, what would you do then?

- He can act childish when angered easily, but calms down overtime

- Hates Fresh, a very specific fear

- Very direct, he is one of the least deceitful Sanses due to not bothering to hide his intentions. After all, he's THE destroyer of universes, timelines, etc

- He is awful at apologizing, but he puts in effort when he does it since he never apologizes unless he feels that they are deserving of it

- Let's others judge him even if he doesn't like it, since it feels like they're right

- Incapable of dying, even when he has tried a few times to kill himself

- His stringed features are glitched tears that stained him. They originally hurt, but not much anymore since he got used to it

- A God, capable of destroying any soul. It's why he can't "dust" Ink or Fresh, however, along with Nightmare or Dream

- Is only a fan of Outertale and OG Undertale

- Stargazes a lot, it's something he does when he needs to reflect or needs comfort

- Has red reading glasses that are taped together, but he still has them nonetheless and uses them occasionally

- He has smacked his own glasses on Blooper when Blooper was originally Blue. He later gave Blooper their own pair

- Has a fear of touch so he has to be the one to initiate it. Even then he can't tolerate it and glitches out. He gets shaken up and the most he can do is use his puppets or offering his pinky as a way to "hold hands" with Blooper

- Nearsighted canonically so he squints his eyes a lot

- He dreads Fresh's company as he's the only one that can snap him out of his serious nature out of distress of his presence

- He has actively ran away from Fresh

- He steals shit all the time and I mean all the fucking time. He can't create so he has to get shit to fill the void somehow!

- He stalks Vanilla and other timelines of UT

- If he was able to destroy every AU, then he'd finally be able to kill himself. Thus, he could finally rest. For now, he just has to think about what it would be like to die and to be dead

- He is chaotic neutral, so he will work with others if it benefits him somehow, though this happens to be rare

- Has memory issues at times and reminds himself with little notes around the antivoid with string

- Has thrown many tantrums before, even throwing Ink a few times because he was angry

- Ink and him when battling is filled with snarky banter despite neither being able to properly die, he just is more sarcastic than Ink

- Cats are the only animal he can touch and then rapidly pet and squish. He secretly loves them

- He will dress up in this pink scarf he got ahold of and he will play dress up when bored

- Magic is infused with his crocheted items and bracelets, which can have different intent depending on his emotions and even count as "marking" someone

- Hates scissors because of Ink

- One out of two to know Ink is soulless, he actively taunts him as well for it

- He actually associates the fear of touch, haphephobia, to be what he has. I hc that because all the touch he's experienced has been violent, he's developed his fear of it. He developed it if you will, and there would have to be a lot of patience before he lets someone close enough

- He actually loves certain puns and jokes, especially if he favors the person saying it at the time

- He prefers long distance combat since he can use his strings more effectively. He's not the most physically strong, but he has a few perks of summoning bones and teleporting/glitching in and out of one location

- When he sees something new, he just stares and prods at it

- If he gets too close to something with tech, it will start to glitch out and form static due to his magic despite the involuntary act

- He's the type of guy to turn around if someone points and says Fresh or Ink are present, actively falling for it just enough to let someone narrowly escspe

- He'll throw a fit if someone tries running away from him

- Sometimes he can reboot, and this leaves him vulnerable at the worst of times. He doesn't actually have a pattern for why it happens, but he goes ragdoll because of it

- He believes that what he's doing as the Destroyer is just, especially because he knows the consequences of why it would be important for him to stop the collision of universes

- He targets most AU's that are small, lack content due to its abandoned creator, or self destroying AU's because they're easier to eliminate without Ink actively noticing too much. He doesn't really go for active AU's unless Nightmare, Dream, or Ink fucked it up via fighting and destroying things. I actually have my own hc for Blooper and how he came to be in Error's possession, but that's for another time. Let's just say it wasn't a kidnapping, but rather a mercy

- His strings become thicker when crying, spilling out and causing him to glitch out without the inability to stop - even if it physically hurts him

- His voice often speeds up or reverberates, especially when stressed or excited

- He's very stubborn and has tried killing both Nightmare and Dream respectfully at some point or another, but he can be bribed with the right price

- He can hear creators and anons inside the void, whispers loud enough to echo in his skull especially when alone. A constant hum where he'd have to pay attention in order to understand all of them. When traveling to other universes or timelines, he can only faintly hear them and tune them out easier

- He doesn't realize that Fatal and Geno are past forms of him, but he recognizes it and in fact I hc that they hardly interact because they actively are constantly glitching in and out inside the anti void. It's a weird science, but it's like a constant blinking within the coding that caused the very slim chance of these skeletons to meet. Memory gaps are present to begin with because they never have the previous memories to begin with, at least...somewhat. Coding is a bitch after all, and one never can erase their past

- He is suspicious of anyone trying to get along with him, building trust between him and you is nearly impossible unless through bribery or a deal. In Blooper's case, it was a special exception

- If something doesn't go his way, he is an active bomb going off with how he's altering the world around him. He'll destroy anything within his vicinity and has even reached points where he alters his surroundings via glitching. I headcanon that with enough charged magic, he can cause massive glitching that starts to "eat" an AU or timeline, which makes the fighting more intense between the Gods

- If he likes someone, which would be practically never, he'll glare at them and side eye them without actively threatening their life. He'll and be more quiet, watching you

- He will use his strings to bend souls to his will, whether that was to make monsters fight, be restricted, or to dust the soul. He used to make some souls go into the anti void as a trophy to be hung above him with string, but not anymore. At some point he stopped being delusional about having to be the Destroyer, and just-....gave up trying to find pleasure with it. He's actually never really enjoyed destroying worlds, especially because he used to want to go back to his original one and knows that he's forever erasing something so special. He's just forced by Fate and desperation to actually do his job. In truth, he hÆt3s Fate

- He doesn't let others see him inside their timelines when he's traveling, stalking, etc. he's les social, but also just doesn't find himself to be a presence anyone wants to be around. He knows why he's there, and even if he doesn't destroy that world, it's easier to just hide

- He's on the aroace spectrum, and mainly just wants to be alone due to his own trauma. I think he would be aroace before, but that trauma just was an extra shove towards avoiding any romantic or sexual attraction/interests

- One thing that he feels extremely guilty for is what happened to Blooper, or originally a Swap Sans. In my hc, I actually think the reason he was left alone was because of a war happening, which caused him to try and keep him safe but ended up being gone for too long. Even when Blooper was losing it, causing havoc, he couldn't bring it in himself to hurt the one person he cared for intentionally even if he already did unintentionally. (DW though, things were resolved at some point)

- He loves Coraline or any odd little movie like that, because when Undernovela isn't playing he likes to watch them. Coraline just has cool dolls, symbolism, and overall fun animation to him. Don't let anyone find out however because he'll never trust you again

He hasn't felt like the great Papyrus in a long time, not since the great starvation. Horrortale Papyrus deserves better and ourgh what I'd give to make sure he gets it

- His magic was altered when he started to starve, up until he unknowingly ate human flesh. He grew stronger, and is physically the strongest Papyrus as a result

- Loves flower language

- He has stretched out and thinner bones from unstable magic and starvation

- He has quick reflexes due to his time underground, but unlike Saint this is a constant state that he is in

- Has a dangerous temper, though he's improved since he's reached the surface

- Is sometimes too blunt to the point that he has little to no filter since he finds lying to be pointless

- He is an amazing cook, but overtime he's grown to bake instead since it lacks meat

- He is more weary about giving second chances and trusting others

- He worries about his brother constantly, though there is an undertone of bitterness when he thinks about him. He loves his brother, of course he does, but there are some things he hates when it comes to what Saint does

- He hates being the center of attention after his trauma nowadays, and prefers to shrink in on himself

- Good friends with Pitch and the others, but is especially close with him in private

- He is working to heal from the anger and trauma Saint unintentionally caused, their relationship is strained

- Will use violence if necessary, but doesn't like it

- He has a scary amount of knowledge about others because he makes sure to remember everything. He has the best memory out of all Papyri except Cash and Rus, but even then what Lunar remembers is especially acute to even the most simple of things

- Talks to himself out of loneliness sometimes, a habit from the underground

- Cries quietly, but sniffles a lot and hides

- Being part of the royal guard became a painful necessity when underground, it protected him and his brother

- He helped other monsters underground when no one else did, even if that did mean that he had to get hurt sometimes

- Hates the sensation of mud due to the texture reminding him of blood

- Like Cyperus, he's hyper aware of his strength but now he's extra careful when handling things

- He practices gentleness with gardening

- He has more sensitive teeth than he'd like to admit, especially since he had to tolerate it before. He is skilled at making something moist and soft such as baked goods and meat

- His favorite passtime is puzzles, so he'll do things such as word puzzles when he's above surface

- He's reluctant to be physically affectionate, especially nowadays. So, if he lifts you up, you can expect it to be the exact amount of delicacy that's needed

- Physically, he is the strongest Papyrus and he's been considered especially dangerous because he doesn't need to use his magic often

-Others being sincere about wanting to be close with him is a rarity, so he'll be taken aback. Nonetheless, he values it to the point he'd do anything for those he cares about. Anything

- He is pained to admit that he doesn't see Undyne as his friend anymore, that she's someone else. He is even afraid of her.

-Because he's had to lie so much when Underground, he can diffuse a situation and know exactly what to say to avoid conflict

- He is not intimidated by the other Papyri, but there are some things he envies from them

Magic and the wonders of Flavor & Scent

Below, I have written my personal headcanons for the color, scent, and flavor for the Sanses. These are the ones I have for the x reader roommates. If you guys wanna ask for personal requests (wink wonk) then don't be afraid to ask.

I'll put it under a suggestive tag as well just in case some of you may want to avoid those. I don't outright do 18+ often, but the comfort of others is important so bam, this is a warning. Anyways, enjoy!

Vanilla: His magic is more of a light blue. It smells of frost and pine while his magic tastes of light vanilla. It's not too overpowering, especially since he doesn't use it often and he has good control of his magic

Powder: His magic is a powder blue, especially since US is more of a pastel world to me. His magic smells of spearmint while his magic tastes like blueberry and cotton candy. It has a bit of a smoother taste

Red: His magic is a dark, crisis red. It smells of burning wood while his magic tastes of cherry limeade. His magic is stronger in tastes due to his LV

Saint: His magic is a cornflower blue despite his red eyelight. His magic smells of veviter and sandalwood while his magic tastes of vanilla and apple. It has a bit of an overwhelming tastes due to his control of magic

Carmine: His magic is carmine red. His magic smells of frost and mint while his magic tastes like red raspberries. It's stronger in taste but smooth, a little overpowering

Razz: His magic is a blue-french violet. His magic smells of sugar and of something electric while his magic tastes like blackberries and dark chocolate. His magic tastes overwhelming with a smooth, strong flavor. It happens to have a tingling sensation afterwards due to the raw power he is on the brink of constantly losing

Wine: His magic is a wine red. His magic smells like pomegranate while his magic tastes like almond and wine. It is not too strong and it happens to have the smoothest in tastes since his magic is under extreme control

Dust: His magic is a slate blue violet shade. His magic smells of leather, citrus, and slightly of tobacco while his magic tastes of vanilla berry and slightly metallic. It's a bit of a tingling sensation afterwards since he has an overwhelming amount of LV. The reason for the hint of citrus is because of Pap's magic being fused with Dust's

Oh god don't even get me started. I hate HATE HATE PICKLES. The scent, the sight, the taste, the absolute DISGUSTING TEXTURE. Seeing pickles on a burger I ordered without the slimy, disgusting item makes me want to cry I can TASTE the pickle even when removing it. No pickle is a good pickle, I'd beat one up if it was a person. Such vile, disgusting burdens upon this world

Any favorite foods or drinks?

My favorite drinks would have to be peach soda or monster energy drinks! Papillon, Rosa, and Mango are my favorites.

As for food? I really love Thai food and overall Asian cuisine even if that means having to look for authentic restaurants around my town :-))
