yall know the feeling when it's like 2am and thoughts you don't want to be thinking show up and you just want to SLEEP? well 12 year old me decided I'm just gonna imagine yeeting them and now when I think things that I'd rather not think my brain goes YEET and michael jordans the heck out of the bad thought and like idk if that's genius or really stupid

The thing that really gets me when people talk about Cats as “all the characters compete to see who gets to die” is that literally nowhere does in the text or subtext of the show does it say that the ball is a competition???? Like Old Deuteronomy makes the Jellicle Choice at the end of the night, but he’s not even present for every song by a “competitor” so it literally makes less sense when you add that spin to it. They’re just talking about themselves because they’re cats and that’s what they love more than anything else
