A comic based on this poem
One of the details from the Smash Ultimate reveal trailer I still think about is the fact that it actually shows off inkling bioluminescence (the pink dots on the underside of their tentacles)
I feel like it’s a small detail about inklings that I don’t think a lot of people know about (or at least I don’t see it brought up as canon very often). I also feel like it was way more apparent in Splatoon 1 and I don’t really see it as much in later games, but idk
all octopi are technically venomous, but only the blue-ringed octopus is dangerous to humans (unless you're allergic to octopus venom, which seems unlikely).
and yeah, if the octopus doesn't feel threatened, it's probably gonna be curious and friendly. delightful creatures, it's sad they don't normally live for long.
choosing to allocate spoons to hanging out and having a good time at the cost of perfectly completing all your work is not a failing it is in fact an act of survival. “too sick to work = too sick to play” is in fact ableist bullshit that you don’t have to buy into. and the fact that leisure time is treated like a privilege is a fucking travesty
I love void Worm When I first played RW They overwhelmed me
i'd be so sad if i wasn't
you are animal. never forget this.
splatfests have lately been really reminding me just how much i love splatoon. just.. everything about it. this one especially, since i went to inkopolis plaza and was once again made aware that the squid sisters have a firm grip on my emotions and don't even know it (because they're not real. sadge.)
THIS IS NOT A CD RIP
this is an edit of this stream, this song was played twice, and I spliced between the two to remove most of the sniffing, laughing and commentary. you can still hear a few sniffs here and there but it was the best i could do. 👍
hoping we can get a proper rip soon!
also, don't go running around if you don't know the terrain is safe. falling is bad, and falling on something sharp or poisonous is worse. and even when you know there's no slopes, pits, or brambles ahead, still keep an eye on the ground. it's really easy to get caught on a root and sprain your ankle.
at the near spring and summer I'd like to remind y'all something: be careful when you go out in the woods. it means:
don't eat or touch any unfamiliar berries and mushrooms – take someone who knows or use guides. its always more interesting to explore together or play a scientist!
collect bones and feathers through a plastic bag and be sure to disinfect or boil it when you'll get home – various germs can survive even a rough winter inside of it.
you found a nest or den? oh it has cubs? great! watch and take photos from a big distance and take care to not disturb the animals! and i greatly beg – do not collect cubs or animals. the cubs are usually not as alone as you see, and if you see a wounded animal then call to rehab. you won't be able to raise or properly care for an one.
take a snack and a drink – eating things from the ground and drinking unboiled water is dangerous.
always have someone with you or at least tell someone where you are going – various dangers lurk in the woods.

-(thee/they/any)- lives on the internet, very invested in multiple games, even ones i can't even get (they generate enrichment in the brain centrifuge) ✨holy trinity of artist, furry and otherkin✨ (notably full of disease and mental illness)
