I love how the closer you look, the more graffiti appears— it gives the effect of being ancient and etched into the stone. I recently learned that m and n dashes are in fact separate things with important distinctions. I had been using n dashes in place of m dashes in my work for years, and no one mentioned it. Needless to say, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
