Ok, So I Had A Near-death Experience At 4 AM This Morning, (I Nearly Choked To Death, -100/10 Would Not

Welp, I guess I've been summoned. Social media interactions is NOT my forte, but I will certainly try!

Ever since I was little I've been participating in a bunch of annual middle ages and viking age events. Because of this there are (mostly) historically accurate decorative weapons hung up on the wall in my house. I even own a few myself!

I taught myself mandarin chinese for a year, then I took a break from that by teaching myself french for about half a year, and then I got a second chance at learning japanese in school. Needless to say, the mandarin keeps creeping into my initial thoughts whenever a character I recognise shows up and I am a fool for trying to learn everything at once.

Despite having no real musical talent, I have written a few songs in my life. Two of them are OK, and one is excellent. I wrote the excellent one with my dad when I was three or five years old or so. (My dad says I did most of the work, but I've always pressed X to doubt on that.)

Bonus because I can't help myself:

I have the swedish dub of the G1 Transformers movie on DVD. I have no idea how good or bad it is, but I have it.

I used to be a old Artist/Painter and yes, I can draw illustrations but not anymore.

I’m pretty cautious by nature, but I do love taking risks when my heart leads me to it.

And I always get to asked out by a lot boys and men in real life because I was born with a pretty natural face (which I hated the most).

Anyway, I beat the sucker today so I'm a bit less Annoyed(TM) at it. Still, it's infuriating how an otherwise excellent boss got bastardized by two bugs...(at least I only encountered two, I don't know if others have found more.)

But I'll say this: the two bugs I encountered are before reaching the seventh Chaos Emerald. Once you go Super Sonic (not THAT hard even with the bugs,) it's all smooth sailing once you figure out what to do! And when you know what to do it gets real fun real quick!

I don't think they bug-tested the third Titan.

Finally! My markers get used after years of neglect!

Man, I LOVE this show! It has just the right amount of illogical logic and weird cartoon logic whilst still having logic for it to be amazing! (There are more reasons of course, but still!)

For real?! That's odd! Are they changing things, planning on changing things, or is something else entirely going on?

I think I smell either a conspiracy or a change to the lore! Not sure which would be better...then again, Sonic does sound older...I thought it was because he finally hit puberty, but maybe they've aged him up? He'd still be too young for this stuff even if they made him 20 tbh...

Hey, has it ever clicked for anyone that Sonic is literally a child? I know some people usually go "teenagers aren't kids, they're basicly younger grown-ups!" But like, that's absolutly not true? Teenagers ARE kids! They're older, they're on the road of BECOMING adults, but they AREN'T!

The point being, I can't even IMAGINE what kind of messed up trauma riddled mind Sonic has at this point. Just- the childhood trauma I've had has been enough to eff me up real bad, imagine what all the stuff SONIC has been through has done to him!

And I know; I know that Japan has a thing with idolizing children that behave maturely and/or takes on a bunch of responsibility, but still! He's been 15 years old for, what, 20 years? And he's been through hell and back and fought several gods and always been the one to stand strong and never give up! Imagine the mental and emotional toll!

As a kid I always thought "wow! Sonic is so cool and mature!" And now as a 21 year old I just get an intense parental need to just- get him therapy and protect him from the world. It's kinda scary how many emotions and instincts media can trigger, actually!

And I know that it'd be pointless to protect him from a lore standpoint; he's more powerful than some human nobody ever would be, but I just-

He's 15 YEARS OLD you guys!

A kid!

And that realisation hit me like a freight train a couple of months ago, and it re-hit me after playing Sonic Frontiers!

I watched Daft Thoughts again...and I have an entire Daft Punk playlist...so it was only a matter of time.
