unhinged thirty days of otherkin challenge, day 9: are you smaller or larger than a breadbox?

larger. it'd be fun to be small enough to fit in a breadbox, though, for a little while at least... as a treat.

day 10: describe the vegetation around your kintype's feet

ferns and clubmoss and wildflowers wave as we run through the brush. not everything goes unscathed, trampled by careless hooves, but the seeds, fronds, spores, and petals cling to our fur. unknowing, happily, we spread the greenery throughout the forest.

This is very important.

my fictionkintype is psychological in nature, so it's a bit funny to me that i talk about it in metaphysical terms.

in reality, i shaped the identity of [sleepyhead]. but i think about it as a past life that helped to shape me. i may not have that holy courage, but the soul lives on in me.

i've had a creeping feeling that my faun kintype is actually a theriomythic type, and looking into faun art on this here webbed site i think i've confirmed it.

depictions of fauns (modern depictions, anyhow) always project a level of sapience that doesn't line up with my noemata. my fauns are not humans with goat legs - they're a different animal entirely.

tool use is more on par with corvids than humans. language is simple. we mimic humans the same way humans mimic cats, with no knowledge of deeper meaning. we don't wear clothes.

so! i'm recategorizing the fauns as theriomythic type, rather than kintype.

unhinged thirty days of otherkin challenge, day 15: how do you make your room/home/surroundings more suited to your kintype?

i have some decorations that i switch out for different seasons, and a few kintype-specific trinkets, but unfortunately i don't have the energy/space of my own to do much rn :(

my most treasured kintype-specific trinket atm is my fairy nightlight :) my little moon

i would like to get those fabric leaf vines to tape onto my bedroom ceiling. green for spring/summer, and red for the fall.

maybe one day i could get a bedroom with a mattress big enough to fashion into a proper nest with blankets and pillows and such? something to think about.
