She hadn’t seen it before, but he looks a wreck. Deep bags under his eyes, greasy, unkempt hair that’s falling out of his hat. There’s still flour and some egg remnants splattered on his face and clothes that he’s hastily trying to wipe off, but Kristin couldn’t care less about any of that. All she cares about is the way his eyes sparkle like sapphires when he looks at her, and that sudden energy courses through his body as he runs down the steps toward her.
“It’s Kristin!” he blurts, looking back at Niki, and then again to Kristin, blinking again and again like her very presence is incomprehensible. His voice is shaking too much to say anything more, his whole body trembling from far more than the cold as he draws nearer to her.
For the first time in so many years, Kristin doesn’t know what to do with herself. The mortal world is bright and overwhelming, and Phil is but one beautiful piece in all of it. She keeps an arm on a snow-covered spruce chair to steady herself, allowing him to take that final step towards her only because she doesn’t trust herself not to get horribly distracted if she reaches him first. “Hi,” Kristin says finally, feeling nearly as breathless as he looks.
the syndicate lore finale, but from c!kristin’s point of view, including all she did to get to phil.
reblog please thanks beloveds
Another humans are weird space orcs idea because I really like thinking about it. What if aliens have no idea how to hide their emotions? Like, they suck at poker because they can never keep a straight face or anything. or, on a darker note, their ship is hijacked and they can’t keep the fear out of their faces, but all the humans look cold and emotionless to them. Other aliens hating having to bargain with humans becase we can bluff and keep our emotions in check so well, but when they get frustrated it’s all over. Pirates threaten the space ship and they send the human to do negotiations, and the pirate talking is super confused because no matter what threat he makes, the human just doesn’t seem to be fazed one bit.
Someone please, feel free to add to this, I love to see what else people come up with!

it's literally my job to be the last one behind the performers as we walk to and from the stage so no one gets pulled out of line and there's this one guy that always politely holds the doors open for me and everyday I have to hold the door and motion for him to keep walking
it's been a month why is he still doing this? it's gotta be malicious at this point right?
ok so I'm doing laundry (cause that's part of my job) in public hotel laundry (gross, but again, part of my job) and it is absolutely hilarious to watch traveling high school football players stare desperately at the washing machine as if, if they stare hard enough, it will whisper the secrets of how to do this mundane household task
This minecraft short comic called "A strange Coast" made by Ian Flynn I believe, I found in a book from my library I work has to be one of the most beautiful and respectful takes on the game.
It understands minecradf so perfectly and doesn't treat it as childishly as the other stories in it did.
And all that within 10 pages and no word spoken.
This is what happens when basic cosplay is attempted. #enchantress #suicidesquad
the streamer I've watched since he was 15 is going to Paris fashion week because he was invited by dolce & gabbana
that's a crazy sentence and I can't believe it's fucking true
It's nice to feel appreciated but it's kinda annoying when it's literally not your job, and the second you give the person a chance to do their job, it all falls to shit.
I don't like micromanaging but if you give me no other choice...
can you imagine how freaky shark mermaids would be like unlike sharks, shark mermaids would have actual arms/hands and could rely on touching things with their hands to see if they’re prey rather than having to bite like sharks do. like youre just swimming in the ocean and suddenly you feel a strong grip on your leg, you freak the FUCK out because uh what????? the fuck??? youre swimming alone in the ocean??
a head pops out of the water, dorsal fin pointed from its back and it just points at you and says in a low whisper: “i thought you were a seal. please dont swim alone like this, im sorry i scared you i just wanted to see what you are” and then disappears back into the depth. what the fuck.
