I understand why they cut it (both for time and because the rest of the sequence is so serious that it becomes incongruent), but I kinda wish they had kept the reaction shot in King's Tide. From here:

THEY ARE TOO PRECIOUS.

Amity being protective of Luz.

1. Lost in Language.

Even though the misunderstanding and conflict between the two haven't been solved, Amity still faces danger from Otabin to save Luz.

2. Understanding Willow.

Amity catches up on inner Willow's presence and quickly takes Luz to a hiding place and shield her.

3. Enchanting Grom's Fright.

Despite being fear of Grom as well, Amity still jumps right in front of Grom to protect Luz. Not related but she has me laughing when she jumps down from the tree.

4. Wing It Like Witches.

During the Grudgeby match, Amity has saved Luz from the attack twice, and broke her leg in the second time.

5. Escaping Expulsion.

Of course we can't forget this epic episode. Amity stands up to her parents to protect Luz and others. "Stay away from my Luz" is my favorite line.

6. Follies in the Coven Day Parade.

Amity quickly stops Terra's plant from hurting Luz in the nick of time.

7. King's Tide.

I love how gentle Amity's hand on Luz's head is when she saves Luz from being hit by the rock.

8. Thanks to Them.

Despite being attacked and falling on the ground, Amity still tries to save Luz by using the mud that she isn't familiar with.

9. For the Future.

Lastly, Amity helps Luz get out of the In-Between Realm. She's such an attentive, protective and caring girlfriend.

Night Owl Trucking

Today, I'd like to highlight one of the best Owl House fics I've ever read. The premise is the stuff of crack fic fame: a human world AU in which Eda owns a trucking company and Luz is her apprentice. Hampered by her curse (sciatica), Eda gives up the newest job to Luz: get a girl across the country by the weekend. That girl is, of course, Amity Blight, heiress to the Blight fortunes and robotics genius. Her mother is trying to sabotage her life, and now she gets to get from San Francisco to Boston with tons of robotics materials by Friday. It's already Monday afternoon. Can they make it in time? Described as the slowest fast burn in fic history, expect a shocking number of chapters for the speed at which their relationship develops. Just watched the owl house for the first time! What a gem( ╥ω╥ )

Apparently, once I finish Role to Play*, I'll be doing a silly, potentially spicy fic of Vee in a massive polycule. :p An Extra Dose of Vitamin Vee * Current plans are for RTP to consist of three parts. I do have ideas for a fourth part, but if I write it, it'll just be bonus material.

A Role to Play

Part II of my spicy Veesha fic is up! I needed a bit of a break after chapter 26 of Your Touch, and chapter 27 is going to be hard as well - Odalia continues to be Odalia. But until then, we have 12,685 words of Vee growing into a young adult, setting out on her own, learning a little about life and a lot about herself and how weird relationships can be. I say this is a Veesha fic because that's the central relationship, but it's got a lot of Vee and the unnamed cheerleader girl from episode 1, who I've dubbed Clara McKinley. It's no secret that if I wind up writing a Part IV, Clara will be part of the cast. Clarveesha anyone? Word of warning, the spice levels have ramped up considerably, and the next part (aka the part I actually started this fic to write in the first place) will be straight up incendiary. My works
