Not nearly enough McCoy but when he was there, he was great. When they thought Kirk was dead, of course he was devastated but his main concern was for Spock. He was terrified that it would break him.

Also, he keeps spare clothes for Jim and Spock in his office. Bless.

And Kirk thinking that he couldn't give up his life and specifically thinking about not being able to let go of Spock and McCoy.
