If you're a single issue feminist and you want to raise your son to respect women but you also use authoritarian parenting, you're pretty much guaranteeing that your son will be sexist. If you rule with an iron fist and make him afraid of you, you're pretty much guaranteeing that he won't respect anyone who can't make him afraid of them, and the vast majority of women who he disrespects are not going to be able to make him afraid.

If you want him to question society's harmful attitudes against women, you also have to raise him to question society's harmful attitudes that benefit you. This includes society's harmful attitudes against children.

Modern Punk Style

I need like, a new punk style. But suitable for modern times. Like sure, Doc Martens were great but now they're just flimsy and super expensive. Working class? yeah right. Leather jackets? Uh... not as affordable as they used to be. Basically the style has become capitalized and it's not accessible anymore. Which is why I wonder, how would punk look if it was? What are strong but cheap clothing products in todays times? good shoes? Common thrift store styles? Looks that go COMPLETELY against social norms, things that are considered 'ugly'. Turn it into a style! Please share if you come up with something, im so interested!
