#qotd : Which is the biggest life lesson you learned from books? Mine is this. Everytime I read a book, I get a bit philosophical and this is the result of it! ๐When everything seems like a mess, when you want to give up, when you feel there's no one who cares or help that you're af lonely, when everything seems to have ceased, when there's nothing left to hang on , when you're broken into bits not a single piece that defines you, when it's dark that you can't find your way out ....๐ ๐ฎRemember It's Just A Chapter! ๐ The Boy Who Loved(5 ๐) + The Boy With A Broken Heart(2 ๐) โ๏ธ @durjoydatta
The first romance book I read was that of Durjoyโs โNow That Youโre Rich Letโs Fall in Loveโ. Since then Iโve fallen in love with his writings.
๐ฆThen I read this series! The first book left me with a broken heart . I felt every emotional stages while going through it. I loved that book so much that I had a hard time taking in it. Thatโs why it got 5 ๐๐ฆ
๐ฆBut then I read the second book with my expectations up. But it failed me the start was smooth but then it lost its charm and plot was twisted that I couldnโt just accept it. Everyone who read the second part after the first have the same opinion. ๐ฆ
๐ฆI always thought if it hadnโt the second part itโd have been better. I prefer tragic endings than terrible plot!!๐ฆ
So this is my #RedFebruaryTBR . Apparently Iโm not gonna read this two as Iโm tempted by other two books. But I prepared this two as tbr because this is RED FEBRUARY and everyone is doing this. See one book have #black #sprayededges !!
Arghhhh! I wanna read this but just canโt take this until I finish the others. And that two dreamcatcher keychains are my DIY. Iโm feel so proud of myself when I see those! What do u think about it?
So which are your #RedFebruaryTBR ?
Me before reading Pride and Prejudice & Me after reading it!!
I see you in the rain, I crave u at the night, I weep for you in my dreams. I wanna melt in your warm embrace
Thereโs no better feeling than being completely at peace with you. Your arms around me, blankets soft, rain on the window, and the comforting knowledge that we are in love.
Me ๐ Let me in!!

The Girl Of My Dreams 5๐๐ Author: Durjoy Datta @durjoydatta
Daman always wakes up to this name, Shreyasi, which haunts him like a nightmare but he feels like itโs another whole story of him. Daman had an accident in Goa. He lost his memory of that trip. But the name itโs all he knows and when he remembers it he becomes like a mad man . He cannot remember further.
But Daman had started another life for him being an aspiring writer whom he always wanted to be. And he found his love, Avni, who supports him and love him more than anything even herself. But those nightmares keep coming back. Everytime a different angle. But the face is hazy.
He tried to regain the memory but not even his frnds knew what had happened. All his efforts to know the story behind the name gone futile untill one day!!
The twists are remarkable. The story keeps you in it like a black hole. Once you touch the book you canโt keep off it . I felt a flush of emotions while reading. And couldnโt help myself. The characters are not perfect, theyโre flawed and broken, showing how really life is. Iโm in love with all the works of Durjoy Datta, amongst all this one and The Boy Who Loved are my favourites (Though, I didnโt like the 2nd part of the latter- The Boy With A Broken Heart).
Do y'all feel the same or is it just me that Tumblr seems so dreamy and out of ma league.
Me: Iโm strong and independent. I donโt need love to be happy!
Also me: If a tall, rich, and handsome man doesnโt walk across a field in the early morning mist to tell me that I have bewitched him body and soul soon I might have to do something drastic
๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐, is absolutely a page-turner, where the readers have to read between the lines. It's is set in ๐จ๐๐๐๐. It the reader to Guwahati. Undertow is the story of an estranged family. It tells on the impermanence of human heart, it's indecisiveness and the unpredictability!! ๐ฎ When you realise the aptness of the title, I bet you'd be baffled. How one moment's indecisiveness or blindness towards the unfairness tatters the whole family is one to be seen! ๐ฎ Rukmini, cast out from her home by her own mother Usha and left behind by her love Alex, lives a hard life in the shades waiting for a call from her father Torun, who turned a blind when she was kicked out. Loya, Rukmini's daughter, ventures out to Assam - Kaziranga where she'd do her research on elephants & most importantly to seek her grandfather whom she's never seen to set back her shattered family! Her life changes inside the Yellow House. The house stands out too much for the shady life inside it! ๐ฎ I liked the third person narration, as it allows the reader to see all dimensions of the story. The pleasure given by the smooth back and forth flow of narrative have no bounds! The relations, culture, politics and the imageries holds an unseen bond with eachother! The lucid picture of Assam becomes animated in each turn of the page. ๐ฎ I personally cherish this book and recommends to everyone. I'm still reeling from its bafflement!! *Screaming inside my head* *Throwing the book across my bed* *Pulling blanket over my head and sits in amusement* * praying :O God pull me out of this!!* (at Undertow) https://www.instagram.com/p/COnE9N9rdD9/?igshid=1qxgn3ad58jdw
