there’s two separate vibes when it comes to ana people

there’s “clean🛁, healthy eating🍓, pilates & ballet🩰, angel 🪽, float like a butterfly🦋” beautiful aesthetic that’s like enriched and glamorized by things like “clean girl, coquette, slavic doll” internet culture

then there’s “alternative, bedrot, unclean, gross” vibe where it’s like “hey this is a disorder and i’m sick and I want the outside to match the inside”. I think “to the bone” fits this vibe. idk how to explain this one as well but I think it was basically invented in the 2010’s during that special time during tumblr’s ana prime with the internet becoming more widespread and accessible to young teens.

I just started watching anime probably when I was 11 or something. I loved the stories honestly and the animation looked really good. At the time I watched the famous Ghibli movies and other stuff like death note. After I watched One Piece I just couldn’t finde any other anime that interested me that much as it did. My life got a little crazy as I got older so I didn’t have much time to watch any new stuff.

I haven’t watched any of the two, but I would choose the boy and the heron. I’m not really into the whole new animation styles.
