I was thinking about Princess and the Frog today and I realized: did anyone tell Tiana's mom about the turning into a frog thing before Tiana and Naveen got married? From her POV, her daughter dropped off the map after the masquerade ball and reappeared several days later (maybe longer? We don't know the length of time between Ray's death and the swamp wedding) with a royal husband, claiming she spent that length of time as a frog.

That woman must as been confused as heck.

Okay so... apparently "Panther" isn't an individual animal, but one that's part of the genus "Pantherinae"; which includes lions, tigers, Jaguars, leopards, and snow leopards.

Season 2 Theory: Hazel accidentally restored Dev's memory with her rule-free wish.

Hazel's wish was basically "I wish my brother and my friends get to keep their memory of fairies/magic". Hazel respected Dev for giving up everything in order to save the Godparents, so she's possibly open to considering him a friend again.

Imagine memory wiped Dev gets home, then gets his memory back seemingly out of nowhere a few minutes later. Everyone seems to have forgotten his takeover of Fairy World, and Hazel is back to handwaving magical happenings. He's confused and afraid to ask what happened in case Jorgen decides to fix his apparent mistake. Dev accepts he's not getting Peri back and tries improving himself (with varied success).

Sooner or later, everyone realizes he remembers and have to decide to investigate what happened or hide it from Jorgen.

I would argue that Ford is less so because refused to see Stan was a good person on several occasions:

1. He let his parents and the counselor trash talk Stan behind his back without so much as blinking

2. Clung to the story that Stan intentionally broke his project despite no proof (heck, the only "proof" Stan was there at all was a bag of chips that anyone could have bought at anytime) and watched him get kicked out for it

3. Refused to acknowledge his existence until he needed someone to hide the journals

4. Couldn't process that Stan spent 30 years trying to figure out the portal to clean up the mess he put his brother in

it's weird to me when I see someone argue Stan is more noble than Ford specifically because he offered himself as a sacrifice to stop Bill. Any other arguments, I'm not talking about, those aren't what this post is about. I'm talking about the memory gun one.

like, "lure Bill into my head so he can be erased" was Ford's idea. He was very much also willing to do it. The reason he didn't go through with it is because the metal plate would have prevented it from working. The guy who thinks his only worth is his brain was ready to sacrifice that to stop Bill.

Stan and Ford were equally willing to give up everything to protect their family.

The reason Stan did it isn't because he had more heroism; it's because he had less aluminum.
