I've been sitting here thinking about my life, and I've come to this conclusion:

I have no time for art lately, meaning I can't even find time for college assignments at all due to work and treatment.

I have a session and I'm in a huge hole of debt because I'm constantly working and getting up bright and early to go to the other side of town to the hospital for shots and IVs, after which I feel just disgusting.

I have long dreamed of learning animation, and this requires time, which I unfortunately do not have enough even for 6 hours of sleep.

So I decided to find another job, more easy in the physical plan. And I need to find it by January 10, because on that date I plan to write a letter of resignation from my current job. Hopefully, this change will give me at least a little bit of a break and at least once a week to draw art, learn animation, and also to clear my school debts.

The Jedi are part of Star Wars because it's a big universe with many cultures, traditions, philosophies, peoples and so of course they will be different, but I agree with you that trying to rewrite the basics of how the Force works or the rules of this universe results in Star Wars being less Star Wars.

Generally, their methods and philosophy and lessons are part of their culture, because any way you look at it, the Jedi order is a religious order and the Jedi can be compared to monks.

I think it's more likely that people are rewriting the workings of the Force or the rules of the universe because they're not familiar with the information they're working with.

Star Wars won't stop being Star Wars just because one in a hundred decides to rewrite the rules for his work. That will only tell you that he has no mastery of the information and no desire to understand the topic he has chosen to write about.

It just doesn't feel like Star Wars if it's mindlessly Jedi-critical or anti-Jedi, and not because the Jedi are perfect, but because they're the core of what makes Star Wars what it is. You may not agree with their philosophy and their modus operandi, but you can't deny that their lessons aren't just a particular way of thinking but the fundation of how the Star Wars universe works by. It's interesting to explore other characters and groups and their way of thinking the universe but trying to rewrite the base of how the Force works or the rules of that universe just to contradict the Jedi only serves to make Star Wars feel that tad less Star Wars.

As someone who has lied to themselves about "it's okay, I'm okay", I can say this. Your personality will never satisfy all the people on this planet and you don't have to please everyone. Pretending to blend in with the gray mass is the easiest path you can take, but be prepared that you, like most of the gray mass, will devalue yourself.

You don't have to pretend, even with your relatives. Yes, it takes strength, but every person has the strength to say: "I don't want this"; "I think about this"; "I like this".

People just need to accept the fact that there will always be those who will dislike them, and there will always be those who will accept us as we are. And to do that, you don't have to change yourself and your personality, adjusting it to fit others.

You are you, and you are an individual among many, but your personality can shine like a flame of fire, or go out in a sea of grayness. The choice is yours.

Anyone ever get tired of acting and playing a role all the time? Acting like you're gonna find a partner of the opposite gender one day and marry? Acting like you want to do some 9 to 5 job for the rest of your life? Coming up with excuses for why you don't drink, why you don't go to parties, why you don't want children? Tiptoeing through conversations, careful not to upset anyone and their invisible preferences they believe are universal? Pretending you're fine, pretending you never have experienced trauma or mental illness, pretending your apartment is always clean and you always have everything together. Pretending you have "normal" interests. Lying to people. Every day, wherever you go. Lying to your colleagues, to your parents, to your family. Knowing that telling the truth would be even worse, if anyone would even believe you. I'm tired of this bullshit.
