why do your ocs have like demon/bug versions? what's the lore behind them?

Basically my goofy little characters have two forms their demon form and their “human form” the human for is just a disguise because they live on earth for the most part.Still figuring out a few things ab their personal story but their just a goof ball.

i know i mainly post art but does anyone know what these characters are?

i think they might be from the 1990s or even the 80s? there probably either japanese or taiwanese. i got these from my grandma who use to run a store with japanese stationary and i think some other things like magazines? i tried asking family and no one can recall what it is. there’s a chance these are just knock off cartoons made for imported stickers but there’s like season and episode stamps(?) on some of the bigger ones. um good luck with the hunt ig😭
