like i realized a long time ago that a lot of ppl who write smut in fandoms aren’t necessarily writing the characters so much as projecting their kinks and fetishes onto their faves

which would be ok if so much of it wasn’t so disturbing and it didn’t compromise a fair chunk to a majority of fic content for cerain ships (much less smut content)

I’ve spent my entire career obsessively trying to “learn how to draw” when I should’ve just been drawing. Always thinking “I just need to get a little better… and then I’ll start working on (insert any of a hundred personal projects)” The fact is that i’ve been good enough since my teens- and would’ve improved so much more rapidly had my study been in the service of any of those projects- and not in the dozens of sketchbooks pilled in my closet. Lesson: Don’t use “learning” as an excuse to avoid “doing”.

Nice! :3 Good Advice

These guys are characters for my dearest ShepardPunch's Mass effect fan-fiction "Dual Impact". The guy in the middle is the main character Lucas Shepard, the lady with the bun and the sword thing is an OC Buritsu (bitch stole my name!) Tonii and Dissiya Milo another OC. ShepPunch and I are also doing our own little MERP in Dual Impact's universe. So the characters we create might have some kind of relation to these three lovely ladies :3
