Raggedcoyote - DOG DAYS

Piebald European red fox (Vulpes vulpes crucigera) in Frankfurt, Germany. I've never seen a piebald red fox with this sort of pattern before!

My favorite interactions as a service dog handler is when you come across another legit team in a store and both teams are immediately aware of each other but the behavior doesn’t change. Naturally you give each other space but not in a way that inconveniences either of you. Handlers and dogs just going about their business undisturbed.

It’s such a nice change from avoiding unpredictable pets and over enthusiastic people. It’s a glimpse of what it’s like to be fully integrated into a society while also having your disability accommodated.

Vine went away cuz it couldn't afford to stay active

TikTok went away because congress RIPPED it away from us. It let to many activist groups connect faster than ever before; it let too many voices of dissent be heard louder than ever before; and most importantly it was more popular than Facebook, Twitter( cuz fuck that X bullshit), and instagram.

I understand losing both of these platforms hurt, I was alive for vine's death to. But don't let yourself be fooled into a falce equivalence.

there is something to be said for going to zoos and aquariums on weekdays to avoid school-aged crowds but going to the aviary on a weekend is fun because going into big greenhouses and watching toddlers who just learned to walk encounter loose tropical animals taller than they are is part of the overall experience for me.

to me a three year old is just as much an entertaining and strange beast as an egret. and here they can interact directly. incredible.
