Welcome to the space age, ladies and gentlemen
concept: lloyd is done with everything and stubbornly claims to be an atheist despite being the literal grandson of god himself
Do you guys think Ninjago has atheists who don't believe in the FSM? Is all the stuff surrounding the FSM considered a religion?! Do they have churches and stuff? Do the common people of Ninjago even know about the FSM? Like do they have tests on The battle between the Overlord and The FSM in school or is that knowledge for Ninja people only? Do they like teach the whole "back before time had a name" speech to their children?! Are there substitutes for holidays like Christmas where they celebrate the days Garmadon and Wu were born and they're called like Garmymas or something?!? I woke up at like 1 AM for this I need answers

ooh, this is pretty informative! i didn't know a lot about LEGO history, especially concerning the gendered marketing, but it's nice to see that those mistakes in the past are slowly being undone.
From The Little Girl from the 1981 Lego Ad Is All Grown Up, and She’s Got Something To Say.
“Toys are supposed to foster creativity. But nowadays, it seems that a lot more toys already have messages built into them before a child even opens the pink or blue package. In 1981, LEGOs were simple and gender-neutral, and the creativity of the child produced the message. In 2014, it’s the reverse: the toy delivers a message to the child, and this message is weirdly about gender.”
Season 4 is a lot to deal with, but I'll be damned if there isn't some good polyninja content in there.
are we not threaded by the same weave of the wind terra firma and unparted sea?
My piece for the Ninja Never Quit 10th anniversary zine! Please fullview this bad boy its got a lot of rly nice detail up close ; ;
I wonder if, in superhero universes, the villains ever get contacted by those “Make a Wish Foundation” and similar people.
I mean, the heroes do, of course they do, kids who want to meet Spiderman or Superman or get to be carried by the Flash as he runs through Central City for just thirty seconds.
But surely there are also the kids, who - because they are kids and sometimes kids are just weird - decide that what they really, really want is to meet a supervillain. Because he’s scary or she’s awesome or that freeze ray is just really, really cool, you know?
Second piece for @ninjaneverquit-zine!!
The ultradragon makes me super nostalgic and brings very nice memories!! So i decided to dedicate them a piece
Red visors are slightly shorter than the nindroids and once the Nindroids realize oh ho it's gonna be over for the visors, they're gonna get so many "Haha short" from the nindroids
