Someone: *mentions oreos*
Me: no no, what are you talking about, I only love oreos a normal amount...
for me I make up a name and I'm like "Oh don't worry, this is a placeholder name bc it's not the most amazing" and then fast forward to 3 months later and I still haven't changed and I can't because I GET SO ATTACHED and they wouldn't be the same without that name
I also see my relatives having names, or my friends, and I'm like NO I WANT THAT and then I get super conflicted (bc should I let them have it, steal it for one of my characters, or use it for a future kid I might have?)
Why is trying to name a new character literally the hardest yet best and most rewarding part of writing sometimes?
wishing didn't have to digitalize all of my drawings before I could show them to everyone on here (and for an undefined reason I will not allow myself to post only pictures of the sketches) 🥲
reblog this if you're okay being mass booped <3

saw a thing recently about how callin ppl “y’all” and “folks” is becoming cringe. buddy you can pry those terms of address from my cold dead hands, they’re the only thing keeping me from calling everyone “honeybee”
Every time I think of my cats outside in the cold (even though they have a warm place) I get so sad like nooooo lemme keep all 57 insiiiideeeee please
I have the headcanon that Katniss’ kids keep bunnies as pets and one day, one of them dies from old age. That evening Katniss serves him up for dinner (food is food) and all hell breaks loose. The kids scream and cry, Peetah desperately tries to calm them down and Haymitch falls off his chair from laughing so hard while Katniss grumbles about how she doesn’t understand what they are on about.
After reading the Epilogue this headcanon is just cemented into my brain. I love her, but Katniss-I-tried-to-drown-my-sisters-cat-Everdeen would be fun to watch as a mother.
I'm a person who thinks she can do basically anything bc booksMy main-ish fandom blog is @now-cracks-a-noble-heart-96
