Sorry this isn't an art post, it's more of a vent post.
My brain:

My body:
Happy birthday to Malleus! I hope everyone who wants any of his birthday cards gets them!
Also the reference I used for this picture is pretty funny, so it will be below the cut.
Reference image:
I sent that ask about Malleus's treatment being unfair and now that it's over I'm going to make my point more clear, since it seems it wasn't last time.
Malleus's crimes:
-Putting people to sleep on a wide scale
-Less injuries that a *sports* tournament (according to Epel)
The other overblots' crimes:
-Attempted murder, including targeted murder and wiping out *all life* (aka murder on a wide scale)
Malleus's consequences:
-Accidentally killed his own father
-Physically maimed
-Magically disabled
-Losing the entire foundation of who he is and having to rebuild his identity from scratch
-The trauma of his actions
The other overblots' consequences:
-Riddle was socially shunned for a while (and even this is shown mostly in other media, not the game)
-The trauma of their actions
Meanwhile the other overblots say that Malleus deserves further punishment (to which Crowley thankfully points out they have no right to speak) as does a fair chunk of the fanbase. How does this make any sense? Might I also add that the only ones who ever apologized for their actions are Riddle, Vil, and *Malleus.* So why is it that Malleus is seen as being so much worse than the others? Why is Malleus called a monster, a living disaster, and the enemy of mankind (all things said in canon) and nobody else has anything similar said about them? I'm not arguing that there shouldn't be consequences, I'm arguing that the scale of it does not align with twst's previous messaging and themes. Whether or not Malleus's consequences are fair in general is one thing, but in comparison with our previous standards it's wildly unfair. And yet people are still calling for more, and fans are being rude to Diasomnia fans about it. It simply doesn't add up.
As for Silver, nowhere did I say Silver should pay for his father's crimes. I said that his *father* never earned the right for his image to be restored because he stood idly by against what he thought was wrong. Silver shouldn't have to be used to restore his *father's* image, when that image doesn't align with who Silver is.
Dear Anon,
I was writing a well thought out and sincere response essay to your initial take, but since you're back and doubling down I'm just going to tell you why you're wrong.
WARNING: The following response is pretty rude. Malleus gets everything he had coming to him and here's why. . .
"Thank you for your take."
And yes, saying that Silver should not have his heroic moment as a knight in shining armor because that armor was worn when committing war crimes IS devaluing Silver based on his father's sins. Being a knight in shining armor is completely in character for Silver (AS A FREAKING DISNEY PRINCESS), and the fact that he is doing a good thing is meant to CONTRAST with his father who did bad things, NOT absolve said father of wrongdoing. The same tool that was once used for evil is now being used for good. IT'S POETIC!
Happy new years everyone! I hope you have an amazing 2025 :D
Oh and happy birthday to Lilia too ^^
How it's supposed to be read:
The comic:

Different versions of shading below, and announcements for this blog below the cut
I didn't like these ones as much, but I'm sure someone does ^^
Announcement: I will be making a masterlist for my blog! However, I will most likely not put the polls I've made on my blog on the masterlist. That's all! Have a good morning, evening, or night (˶ˆᗜˆ˵)
Here's an alternative version of if Leona gave Jack a lion garb! This was inspired by @twst-hottest-takes post where an anon said that Jack should have had an outfit in the Bead Brawl event (link to post under the cut).
Also originally I was going to draw this, but because I was already working on a separate drawing, and my medical issues flaring up I decided to edit the picture instead.
Comparisons between the Deuce lion garb card, and my edit of it below the cut.
And here's the link to the post mentioned in the beginning:
To be honest with you, I personally thought that once someone was fully puppetfied they couldn't be turned back. I felt like it worked that way just because the NRC group never lost their faces. Now I know twst isn't that deep, but I felt like visually it was implied that if a puppet doesn't have a face, it doesn't have a soul/free will. Since the NRC group never lost their faces they could still express themselves, and have a soul/free will even though it was hard for them because they were loosing it. However the puppets without faces have no thoughts of their own because they've lost themselves. (You could also think of the puppets like the donkeys from Pinocchio because it seems that's what they were going for).
I also feel like the puppets are repairing the ship to be honest because that's their whole job, and it showed the group destroying property not puppets.
Sorry for jumping around with my thoughts on your post, but honestly Gino and Ernesto are terribly written. I mean, it was literally said by Jack that there are schools for non magic people, and there are non-magic jobs mentioned in book 5 (I think). Somewhere in the main story Trey does tell MC the different jobs that don't require magic. And Ernesto is 26, so these definitely aren't new options in the world of twst to Ernesto.
Also while I do agree that Ernesto and Gino's riding into a sunset was underwhelming, but I do think it fits them because it seems like a lot of people are out to get them, for their shady reputation.
[twst Playful Land spoilers]
so like, what the fuck happened to all the other park guests??? did they stay as puppets??? are they still on the sinking ship???
can't say ive been too satisfied with this halloween event story, i was hoping the english localization would explain some things that i thought were lost in the fan translations. but no it just really does have nothing to explain the other guests.
also, i wasn't sure why there was such a focus of Gino having the interest in the NRC boys talking about school, if it wasn't even him that convinced Ernesto to start a school. idk that was just like a character plot that didn't seem to have much of a conclusion.
and also like, it feels weird having this human trafficker get off scott free of what he's done to, not just the NRC boys, but like presumably a lot of people. like, weren't the puppets working at the park previous guests that were turned?? and then the guest that were there on that day being turned into puppets?? and all the puppets from before that were sold off to high bidding people?? did THOSE rich people know the puppets they were getting used to be people???
like i appreciate that Ernesto's whole deal opens the discussion about the magic discrimination/classism that the world of Twisted Wonderland seems to have in its systems, but like this human trafficking thing is also opening up a lot of questions about the worldbuilding that i feel like is more important/weighty. so him just....running off into the sunset just feels....dissatisfying? i guess?
idk, maybe my appreciation for glomas is making it hard to not compare the two halloween events and what they bring to the table in terms of The World Outside of NRC i guess. if that makes any sense.
I drew Idia, but I'm not sure if I should color him in or leave him as is.
Edit: I have colored in the Idia picture 👍
For everyone who wanted me to color my drawing in, here you go! :D I had a lot of fun coloring this in, and hope you like it as much as I do.
Here's an alternative version of the picture:
