Psychology notes
letās treat ourselves more gently. letās go to bed early. letās rest when we need to. letās live life in a way that doesnāt make you feel burnt out after a few weeks. i want us to have fun, to enjoy everyday life, to be present and not to always push ourselves to the last limit. challenge yourself but also treat yourself with love. okay?
Yesterday I had a meeting with my professor, so she could tell me what she thought about my essay, she told me that she loved it and that it was the best one in the class. I'm so excited since it's the first essay that I'd ever write about educational psychology. Also, I got a good grade, but for me is more important the fact that my essay was good and interesting according to someone who knows about the subject than the grade that I got.
where I spend a lot of my time lately. spent today studying for an upcoming project/presentation iām doing on children and alcoholics and depression. very interesting. iāve felt much better the last couple of days and have been managing to get a good amount of research done.Ā

Rewriting the same psychology notes (emotions and motivations) - part 2 and hopefully the last cause I've been struggling with this for far too long now thanks to the lack of paper and then lack of ink in my pen. I am happy that I am finally done with at least first lecture though.
here are a few study tips on how to learn a new language š»āŗļø:
1. start speaking as soon as possible. even when you havenāt learned too many words yet, the most important part of studying a language is not being afraid of using it. so download apps like hellotalk to get in touch with natives! of course, itās even easier if you already have friends or family members speaking your target language.
2. study the most frequent words! there are tons of free so-called āfrequency listsā online that prevent you from studying vocabulary you donāt need in the long run. with only 500 of the right words you could already have basic conversations!
3. get a lot of native exposure - through podcasts, videos and movies. there are so many recommendations on the internet, no matter what language youāre learning. the earlier you start immersing yourself in native material, even if itās childrenās books, the faster youāll find yourself having fluent conversations!!
4. keep a weekly or daily diary to practice writing in your target language. even if itās only composed of basic sentences, itās the best way to use the vocabulary youāve learned!
qotd: what language would you like to study next? i really look forward to studying Italian once I have a little bit more time!! š
