For the pro-ship self-shippers who equally enjoy darkships and self-shipping, imagine your f/o making content of your favorite darkships with you as a way to show their support! Whether or not they're the artistically creative type, imagine your f/o still putting in the effort to try. Fics, art, blurbs, edits, roleplay, etc, they'd love to indulge in your interests with you, as a way to get closer with you and as a way to show that they're more than content with the fact that you find entertainment and/or comfort in these fictional scenarios. They think you are SO creative and feel so lucky to be with someone who has such an interesting and creative mind! Oh and yes, this also pertains to if those dark scenarios include them directly!

Hi anon, I'm sorry you were misinformed oh no 😭 Yes, proship is anti-harassment and anti-censorship especially for fictional ships. I assume you're referring to my post explaining the whole 'It's darkship not proship' situation, and as I mentioned in that post people can be a darkshipper and still not be a proshipper, because proship is just the whole anti-harassment part. You aren't obligated to like anything being a proshipper, it's just your actions towards other real, living people that determine if you're proship or antiship. I'm actually thriving with Love and DeepSpace, Caleb is so perfect ahhh <3 He was definitely made for the ones who prefer just a pinch 🤏🏻 of darker romance. But it also opened my eyes a little about just how sensitive anti's morals are? There are so many Love and DeepSpace players who can't enjoy Caleb's character AT ALL because he's a little bit possessive and obsessive, he borders on yandere but he really doesn't either? He won't kill just any regular person, he will really only kill/hurt people who harm MC. So even if they WERE ogling at her, that wouldn't prompt him to kill them, but he has many of the other yandere traits! And also, theyre childhood friends, who seemed to have a sort've brotherly-sisterly bond. Caleb never thought of it that way but he always kept his feelings hidden for the sake of making her happy! Though his character runs much, much deeper than that, the fandom makes it where you have to validate enjoying Caleb's character or else you're a freak weirdo who likes pseudo-incest, you do NOT need to validate enjoying his character omg 😭!! And so what if they do enjoy making them have a step-sibling bond while he's a love interest, I think of it that way sometimes myself, and I self-ship with him too 😭 People will act like if you can't 'validate' liking him based on their morals then you're p0rn addicted and an awful person, no!! There's so many sweet moments with him too, I ADORE all the sappy, romantic, tender and sweet moments, just because he's abit of a darker character, or just because he's a character whose much easier to use for darker dynamics, doesn't mean anything omgg 😭 Someone said 'So many people started playing the game because of the fact Caleb was like a brotherly figure who turned into a L/I and that's really concerning' no it isn't 😭 as long as those people aren't participating in those things IRL there is no issue, let them enjoy their fictional interests. There are FAR worse characters in media, in otome games in general, and no that doesn't mean you should bash those characters or their enjoyers, but it should open your eyes about just how common and OKAY it is to see people put their fictional interests into practice in their writing and art.

Hi anon I hope I'm understanding your question correctly 😭 I don't even really know how to put my experience into words properly but it's kind of like I present as a female/femininely in the more social aspect of things but in the mental aspect I don't feel like female (or strictly female at least) aligns with how I feel on the inside y'know. There's kind of like a void somewhere in the spectrum inside of me where the concept of binary gender as a whole doesn't feel right whether it's male or female but female at least feels somewhat right to an extent, because as I said I present in a feminine way. But it's a little complicated because I also don't naturally assign gender to things, what others see as feminine/female clothing for example, are just clothes to me- they look nice and I like how I look in them, but I've never thought of it as something for females, like I could see anyone wearing the kind of clothing I wear and it'd still just be plain and simple clothes without the 'feminine' attached to it- and this could apply to anything where people see that thing as gender-aligned. I try to consider a lot of things from a more general societal standpoint (how most people gender things I mean, I didn't really feel anything was 'gendered' until I had to learn how others perceived things in those ways if this makes sense) which has definitely caused me confusion and trouble over how I identify and to be honest I'm not even sure if the demigirl label is something I'll forever stick with either? Even after so many years of exploring and trying to understand this aspect of myself it's still a 'work in progress' 😭 Gender or the lack-thereof is supposed to be a personal experience, something a part of your own identity and being and not something that society, or anyone else for that matter, gets to influence or determine but I'm a hypocrite for saying that when I know it's influenced how I identify so. I kind of really don't have the words to properly describe how I experience my gender but I try to consider it in a way that'll be less confusing for others I guess. Sorry to anyone who reads this ask, I will have it tagged. First of all I don't read fics like that, but is it of a FICTIONAL character? Then there is no issue. I'm extremely uncomfortable at the idea of a toddler aged character in a situation like that but I won't harass someone or say it shouldn't exist if it is STRICTLY FICTION. Also I think you lot forget that fictional characters don't look like, and sometimes, don't act like, real people. They are drawn in proportions that would look arguably horrifying if directly translated to real life. They aren't real, nor are they breathing or capable of feeling real pain. They are, essentially, the pixelated equivalent of dolls. Any fictional character can be put into any situation at any age, anytime, anywhere, and it would not cause harm to a real person because that character does not exist. You have to be able to learn to distinguish a real person from a fictional character, they are not comparable to each other. Also, get help right? Whether you believe it or not darkshipping is approved by a lot of therapists as a healthy coping mechanism. If your therapist tells you it isn't good for you to do/utilize, it's because they recognize that those fictional concepts cause you some form of discomfort. They will form their therapy plans around YOUR needs, so everyone will have different coping mechanisms. It not being the best outlet for you doesn't mean it isn't a good outlet for someone else. Alternatively, darkshipping doesn't need to be confined to "it's only acceptable if its for coping", it's fine to like dark content in general. If it wasn't fine, you guys wouldn't freely enjoy horror movies or video games like GTA. As I've said before, if proshippers make you uncomfortable and are apart of your DNI, don't stress yourself out by interacting with me first. Have a good day/night anon
