headcanon that saikis friends drag him into their tiktoks and act as if hes some major celebrity they managed to convince into being a part of their tiktok and he is just standing in the middle of the frame when whoever is doing their little dance. like the man emoji. 'i cannot believe i managed to run into him!! and he agreed to be a part of my tiktok what an honour!!! <33 this was such a wonderful opportunity to meet someone you idolize and to also get a photo with him is a core memory' and all comments are confused. 'whats his name???' 'gurl give me his tiktok' 'uh i dont think i recognise this celebrity'

What kills me about Saiki knowing his friends would accept him if they knew about his powers is that... yes, he knows this. He believes in them enough at the point of the volcano that he knows they would care for him and want him around regardless.

But he says "I wouldn't want to put them in this position because it would be hard for them". His friends would be willing to get used to knowing their minds are being read 24/7 and they would be willing to know Saiki can manipulate their thoughts if he wants, and they would be willing to get used to all his little oddities because they love him.

But Saiki doesn't want them to have to. He wanted to be "normal" for them.

s2 e8 of saiki k. saiki reveals that ever since he time traveled to the past and accidentally messed up the timeline in an earlier episode, he's been getting stuck in time loops. it's implied that this is caused by saiki's own anxieties, as clearing his head breaks him out of these loops. immediately after this is revealed, nendou almost dies violently, barely being saved by saiki's powers at the last second. time loops. saiki watches nendou die violently in front of him 16,785 times before breaking the loop by dissociating so heavily that he manages to save nendou without consciously thinking about it. this is entirely played as a gag and is never mentioned ever again.
