mother raised me just right. I'm exactly the type of person –the type of bomb– she expected of me.
i destroy things and i ruin people and i love all of them. i love them just in the right intensity to kill them. how stupid was i to think that i could be someone normal and good? I'm her daughter for fucks sake. we don't have any good in us and, even better, we don't get the famous "lucky try" people talk about.

HAPPY READING, HORROR FANS!
I’m constantly torn between “if it’s meant to be, it will be” and “if you want it, go and get it.”
shit parents have no business telling to their kids:
I wish you were never born
Nobody will ever love you like we do
You’re lucky, other children have it worse
I should have beaten you more
You’re so incapable you will die out of stupidity
What can you do
You can’t do anything on your own
You’re so dumb you can’t get one thing done
You’ll never survive on your own
You will never amount to anything
You deserved this pain
You deserved even worse
You’re weak
Nobody cares what you want
Do you think I get what I want?
You’re useless
Why do we even keep you around
Why do we feed you
Who do you think paid for all this
You only take and take and give nothing back
When will you start paying off
also:
any kind of comparison to monsters, demons and pests
any kind of insults or slurs related to appearance, gender or sexual orientation
life-threats or violence-threats, even when they don’t sound serious
convincing children that their boundaries are a problem that needs to be gotten rid of
openly telling children everything that’s going on is their fault
if you feel the need to say these to your children, you obviously have no love or care for them. You think your children should suffer and you see nothing wrong with hurting your own child. You’re a disgrace and a burden on your own child. Children deserve better than this. They deserve parents who love them and protect them from pain. Why would you inflict pain on your own child. You are abusive monsters. If a child is suffering because of you, there’s nothing good about your existence.

Like I dunno, if you REALLY wanted to make a more "modern" interpretation of Persuasion it wouldn't even be hard if you gave it more than a 2 second thought. All you have to do is plop the characters in a different time period, say the late 60's jumping to the early 80's, make Frederick black and have Anne's godmother persuade her not to marry him because an interracial marriage in, what, 1968? or something would just be too difficult for the both of them. You want him to stay in the navy or whatever have him enlist in Vietnam boom jump cut to the early 80s he's a decorated war hero or something we can have a laugh at her father and sister because now they're the walking talking embodiment of Reagan era consumerism, they're stupid empty headed rich yuppies, like it's not hard :/
dick grayson is tiny
look at him. he’s so darn teeny next to bruce
watch as teeny bopper dick grayson gets booped on the nose
he is in fact so small that bruce just. grabs him and hauls him up by the scruff of his jacket
(also, the plot is incredible, as is the characterization and back story of scarecrow. the dynamic between robin and batman is nostalgically endearing. it’s nice to see the original dynamic duo in action again. plus, there’s a thoughtful character study of bruce)
but i’m serious about dick grayson being small. like. look at this. look at it. i’m gonna die from a gi tatio n
