So, basically it'll still be name abbreviation, but the soulmates will be able to share pain being felt as well. Soulmate got punched in the face? You got a black eye because of it.
Being Simon Riley's soulmate...well you were surprised he was even still alive after the pain you've felt.
Yay? Neigh?
Are you gonna post part five of Recom Quaritch x reader? I really liked it but you haven’t been very active on here since the last part.
I'm sorry about that. I shouldn't be using excuses but I had a lot going on. I have part of Pt. 5 written I just need to finish it up and go over it. Sorry again and to everyone else who was waiting.
Watching him eat was… disturbing. He chewed the rice and potatoes you made at a normal pace and you watched it become mush by his invisible teeth. You then watched as he swallowed, the mush traveling down his throat, down his chest and into what you assumed was his stomach. He took a sip of water and you watched his pause as he swallowed. “How fascinating that food and water still appear while inside me.”
You nodded. “Indeed however it’s not a pleasant sight to behold.” You wrote down in your journal the results of eating. “Perhaps it will disappear later on?” You glanced down at his pants. He didn’t need to wear a shirt but you both agreed he should wear pants for the time being.
“Maybe. When it's digested, it may disappear.” He spoke between bites, only eating half the plate before he placed it down on the table. You nod and check the time, noting you should check in maybe three hours or so. You scribble in your journal and look back up at him. He was standing before you. You frowned at being able to see his lunch so close up. “Now I need you to hit me, preferably on my arm.”
“I can’t see your arm Griffin.” You sit up straight. “And why do I need to hit you?”
“To see how bruising affects invisibility.” He grabbed your hand and placed it on his forearm. “Hit here. As hard as you can.” You nodded, setting your notebook and pencil down. You bring your fist back and slam down on his arm. You look up after doing so. “Is that really the hardest you can hit?” His voice was soft, between real concern and sarcasm. If he had been visible, you think he might even have been holding back a smiling.
“Well I haven’t exactly been trained in hand to hand combat.” You sigh. “Was that not enough?”
“No that wasn’t enough at all. Here.” A small stool floats up, you grab it and frown deeply. “Use the leg-end of the stool. Hit me here.” He guides your hand again and you nod.
“I understand this is for science but this seems very um,” You glance at the stool in your hand, trying to find the words. “This seems violent Griffin.”
“Oh please, worse has happened because of science. It’s not like we’re killing anyone. Now, hit my arm as hard as you can.” He let go of your hand and you nodded, eyeing the empty spot where you knew his arm was. You lifted the end of the stool and slammed down, feeling it come into contact with his arm. He hissed after the strike. “Perfect, now we have to wait for that to bruise.” He took the stool from you, turning it around in his grip before placing it on the floor. “Now onto our next test, I don’t believe we need to make any incisions.” He lifts his hand that he had cut yesterday.
You can only barely see some scarring but one that would heal within the next week. You nod and pick up your book. “Should I take a blood sample anyway?” You asked without looking up.
“Hmm, yes. It would let us see how needle insertion would appear, and give me blood to study to better create an antidote.” He walked away with you only hearing the sound of his bare feet across the stone tiles. When he comes back, he hands you a syringe and gauze wrap. You watch as the pair of pants sits down on the stool in front of you. You hold your hand out and Griffin pushes his arm into your grip.
You press on his arm, eyebrows scrunching together in confusion. “You may have to find your own vein and point it out to me.” You feel his free hand brush past yours. It takes a minute, but he pulls your hand to his arm, pressing where to puncture.
“There, right where your fingertip is.” He mumbles and you didn’t realize how close his face was. You bite the inside of your lip but continue with the syringe. When you take a blood sample, you notice you can see some of the vein from where you took blood. Only a small trail of it became red. You pulled enough blood and set the syringe down then cleaned the small wound. You wrap the gauze enough to keep him from bleeding out.
“There.” You smile. “Nothing violent.”
“Unless you were faintish at the sight of blood.” He mumbled. “Good thing you aren’t.” You smile a little proudly, not sure if he saw it. You then pick up your notebook and continue scribbling. After that, you place it down and look around the room. The floating pair of pants was placing the now vile of blood into a cabinet.
“You’ll have to do a urine sample as well, however I don’t believe the invisibility affects your digestive tract. Or, at least not urinating.” You pause. A thought crosses your mind. You frown at such a suggestive thought. What about when he…
“I’ll do a urine sample on my own time when I need to.” His voice was monotone from across the desk. “I will let you know the results once I do. No need to worry I won’t make you handle any of that.”
You smile, a little relieved. “Thank goodness for that.” You look down and frown. Should you bring it up? It is for science after all. How often does he even- Stop. You felt your face heating up. “Griffin, do you think you should…also conduct a-”
“Conduct a semen test?” He had finished your sentence and you cleared your throat. You could feel him staring but you knew if you looked up, well you wouldn’t see it. “Yes I also had thoughts about that.” He coughs lightly. “Like I said before I will handle that on my own time.”
The room became silent. You stood and took the half empty plate of food to the kitchen. You sigh but can’t make the red from your face go away. After cleaning the dish as well as a few others, you dry your hands and walk to the lab room. Then you heard a knock at his front door. You saw the pants that Griffin wore stand up. You then curse lightly and run to the changing board. You quickly take off the shirt and pants, hurrying into your dress. “Who’s at the door?” Griffin spoke low enough for you to hear from behind the board. The sounds of more clothes rustling came from behind the wall, guessing he was also putting on more clothes.
“I don’t know, let me dress back into my daily attire and-” There were four more knocks on the front door.
“Hurry up then!” You heard his footsteps as he walked away. You sighed and finished getting back into your dress, grabbed a broom and walked to the front door.
You crack the door open and smile softly. “Hello, this is the Griffin Residence-” Your smile faded slightly. At the door was your fiance, a tight smile on his face.
“Ah darling dearest, so this is where you work.” He pushes the door open and pushes past you. “Housekeeping another man’s home?” He was looking around at the walls and ceiling, eying the staircase then looking back at you. “Do you clean his home when he’s here? And why do you keep it so dark in here?”
You frown, setting your broom down. “How nice of you to show unexpected and invite yourself in, Jonathan. If Gr-… Mr. Griffin finds you here without his permission he’ll have me fired! Or worse he’ll perhaps call on the police!” He ignored your warning and walked towards the lab room. You grabbed his arm. “You are trespassing on another gentleman's property!”
His eyes shot down at your hand and your face flushed. You let go and looked down. "How dare you, grabbing me as if I were a child!" He stepped closer to you and you stepped away.
"Jonathan please this is no place to…fuss. I work here." You kept your eyes down, both hands gripping the broom.
"Ah, yes, use that line again. That poor excuse." He had his hands on his hips now, reaching up to wipe his nose. "I work all day, stressed as ever and I come home to find an empty home, no food on the stove, the fire place dead and cold. Don't you understand how miserable I feel?" You nod. "Don't-" He grabbed your shoulders and pinned you against the wall, making you look him in the eyes. "Look at me! And don't lie again because you, do not understand. If you wanted to be a good wife to me, you'd be home right now, running my bath." He let go and scoffed. "Instead you're here…cleaning after a mad man…What was his name again hm?"
And a voice from the top of the stairs called out. "I should ask you the same." Steps slowly coming down the stairs. He stops only when he's in view. "You intrude on my housekeeper, insult her and lay your hands on her?" Griffin was wearing wrappings around his face, he was in a dress shirt now, more appropriate pants on and shoes as well. Hair of some kind sticks out the wrappings on his head and upon his face was a pair of sunglasses, sitting atop a strange looking nose.
Jonathan chuckles. "She is my wife."
"Even more the reason you should keep your hands off her in such ways." He walks down the stairs, getting uncomfortably close to your fiance. You could see him become tense as he eyed the wrappings and such. "Now then. Shall I call upon the police for breaking into my home?"
"No…no sir." Jonathan steps back and glances at you. He seemed to remember why he was here and straightened his back. "I was making sure my wife was safe is all. And that she gets home on time."
"I will assure your fiance gets home in time." Griffin never looked away from him. This seemed to trouble Jonathan even more. He nodded.
"Very well. My apologies for disrupting her duties." He looked at you, "No later than 7. Goodbye." Not even daring to kiss you or hug you, as long as Griffin stood there, he turned on his heels opened the door and walked briskly into the cool evening.
After the door closed, Griffin made a sound of bitter disgust. "How could a man be so crude and miserable towards you? He must-" He turned to you and hushed. You were holding back a sob, covering your face with one hand while the other remained holding the broom. He reached out and took the broom from you. "Don't cry now, he's gone."
You nod but keep your eyes closed, hiccuping into your elbow. "I never meant for you to see. He doesn't…always, hurt me." You look at him and suddenly laughed, coverying your mouth and nose again. "What in God's name are you wearing Griffin?" When he scoffed you laughed again. This caught him off guard but, at least you weren't crying.
"Its a disguise. Before the invisibility I would just cover myself if I had to go out. Not always but sometimes." He pulls off the fake nose. "It worked did it not? Am I not a genius? A mad man as that blundering poltroon stated." He pulls half of the wrapping off, setting the glasses to the side. It was quiet for a moment until he spoke again. "Do you wish to go home?"
You looked up at him, at the nothing that sat upon dressed shoulders. What your fiance said had you in knots. It was a wife's duty to serve her husband, that much was true. However, you weren't his wife yet. He couldn't call you property, right? You shook your head, then shrugged. "Well I cannot just, not return home."
"And what will be waiting for you hm? His psycological abuse, next his physical abuse?" You wipe your eyes again. "No, I'll not have it. Stay here tonight. I have two extra rooms that haven't been touched in years." He was already walking away and you were quick to follow.
"Griffin if I stay he'll be worried."
"Let him be. Perhaps he'll find himself drunk or asleep instead." His arm waved a bit and he walks into a spare room. "Here. You'll sleep here tonight." He looks to you and you look up at him. You cross your arms with a look he's never seen you give. It was almost a scolding look.
"Griffin. I don't want him to be angry with you. Or even call the police. What if…" You became distressed. "What if he breaks in and becomes violent or, or accuses me of affairs?"
"Let him believe what he wants. I am doubtful the fool is even loyal…" He quieted himself as he watched you look away. "He will not break in. He won't lay a finger on you. Not while I'm here in this house. Understood?" You gave a small nod. "Go wash yourself up, I will fetch you nightclothes." He turned away and you grabbed his shirt, making him pause.
"You're sure you will allow me to sleep here tonight?" Your eyes searched for nothing, but Griffin couldn't look away. "If I cause you trouble, I won't bother you with my presence. You have the say so."
"You're very right." He took your hand, placing his other invisible hand over yours. "I do have the say so, and I stand by my word."
I've already started working on it and boys, this is a long one.

Yay? Neigh?
I'm stuck in a 2 star hotel that's been repeatedly reported for nasty rooms, nasty drug heads, homeless people trying to sneak through the windows, rude staff...I'm here for two nights.
It stinks here. I'm omw to my housekeeping job and it definitely goes to show that, I KNOW I can do better than this. Dirty towels, empty toilet paper rolls, used water bottles sitting in the fridge...and I want to cry. I've peaked outof the peep hole 4 times, I've checked the windows 5 times. And I'm not even paying for it...my guy friend is, so I can't complain. And I literally have no money to my name to change any of this.
Wednesday I'll be out of here. But until then I'm stuck. In this nasty hole and smelly room. The only good thing is that Jurassic Park is playing and I still have snacks he bought me.
Damn I cannot wait to stop writing essays about educational topics so I can write essays about nasty sweaty monster porn.
How's everyone doing on this fine 4/20?
Did y'all know my 12 year old sister knows I be swooning over the cod men, and relentlessly teases me about it. (Her and my dad play Cod. Like they are crazy fucking good at it.)
Well I was in the car with her once and I had my Tumblr open. And my mom asked me a question so I leaned forward to talk to her about it. And when I looked at my sister, she was looking at my phone and eyeing the gif of Ghost leaning forward wearing that fitted grey long sleeve? (It was the opening of a fanfic)
And she eyeballed me because she suddenly knew just how sad I was. She knew exactly what kind of dumb shit I read now
And she started laughing and talking but I clamped a hand over her mouth and I kept saying "SHUT UP SHUT UP ILL GIVE YOU TEN DOLLARS IF YOU SHUT UP."
And my clueless parents kinda kept glancing and chuckling thinking we were just playing around. Meanwhile I was fighting for the rest of my dignity in that backseat and she was ready to out me to my dad.
Monster!König x Fem!Vet!Reader! Pt. 4
Perspective change cause the whole Monster!Konig thing gets on my nerves...
Warnings: None, just some light fluff and Monster Konig discovering things.
I'm slowly building up like, how he came to be what he is, and such. I don't think I'll go into details on how I think he was created. But I'll try to fill in gaps and such. I have a wicked crazy idea for later but I have to build up to it *insert the rubbing hands together evilly, here*
König never rode in the actual passenger seat of a vehicle. Last time he was in a vehicle he was hog tied and in the bed of a truck. So this was a nice change no matter how nervous he was. You, decided to show him everything inside your little car to try easing his anxiety. You show him how the windows work, how to turn the A/C on and off, hot and cold. Showed him the radio, the lights inside the car, the seatbelts and how to fasten them and then how to release it. He was intrigued, his tentacles curiously winding and rolling together.
König kept the window down the whole way to your house. He didn't enjoy any of the music so you both listened to the wind as you drove. Your house was secluded in a wooded area but near one of the parks. You had a decent sized home. It was a two bedroom, two bathroom house that had a lake down the hill from it. When you both got out the vehicle, Konig had walked straight to the lake to take a closer look.
You followed him down to the lake and put your hands in your pockets, smiling a little. "Is it as big as the one you live by?" You questioned as you looked up at him. He looked around carefully before finally answering.
"No. It seems like the one here is smaller. And is not connected to any other stream. Why?" He looked at you.
"Oh, well it is connected to a separate stream." You walked a little further and he followed. He watched as you pointed to a small area where the trees opened up, but it was across the lake. "There. The lake is by some camp grounds but there's a stream there. We can visit it later if you want." You look back at him. "But for now, would you like to help me cook some dinner?"
He could feel his tentacles shifting under his mask and he shifted his jaw. But he nodded and followed you back up the hill.
Entering your house was different from the vet hospital. First off, it smelled better. The smell didn't burn his nose. Instead he was surrounded by an artificial smell, something he knew had to have been produced by human. But he didn't find himself hating it. It was a background odor for him to ignore. For now, he inspected your little home. You watched as he wasted no time in looking around your home and gently touching things that fascinated him. You smile a little, curious about his curious nature.
He stopped when he saw a tank near the hallway. It was a large 50 gallon tank but filled with dirt. Some netting surrounded the interior and he looked closer, trying to understand what it was doing here. You came over and opened the top. "Would you like to see my pet hermits?" You gently pulled out a small hermit crab. It had a pretty but spotted shell. "This is Babes. She's pretty nice but she pinches sometimes." You gently set her back down and grabbed the other. "And this is Brownie. She's shy but she's also pretty nice." You held up the other hermit, who had a brown shell on. He couldn't see the hermit but he nodded.
"You name your food?" He asked, puzzled. You laughed in an almost panicked way and shook your head.
"They're not for eating! They're my pets. They were being sold by this man on the side of the road, so I take care of them." You set the hermit back into the terrarium and turned on a small dim lamp for them. "Konig, what all do you know about humans?"
He was surprised by this question and he looked around your living room. Konig had many ideas and assumption about human beings. But, he was worried how you would react to his dislike for most people. He shifted and looked down at you. "Well, they're odd. They keep other animals as 'pets', they burn their food before eating it. They also hate me. When most humans find out about me, they scream or try to hurt me." He watched your reaction carefully. "You're the only human that has not tried to hurt me."
You felt your heart drop at this, and he could see the frown on your lips. You nodded then asked him, "Well, I never saw a reason to hurt you because you didn't hurt me." You smiled a little. "You're also living in the hunting county. So maybe most people just think you're buck or some wild animal...I don't think most would purposely-"
"They do." He stopped you. "They know what I am." He looked away and you felt your stomach drop. You stepped a little closer and reached out to touch his arm. He flinched but you only touched him with your fingertips.
"I'm not going to hurt you. And I'm not going to let anyone try to hurt you. You're not a human being but you're not a monster either." You smiled at him. "C'mon, I'll start cooking for us and I'll tell you about some human traditions."
~~~~
"So, you allow yourself to sit down and let other humans hurt you, for hours and hours, so that you will have lines marked along your skin? Because you like it?" His eyes were stuck on the tattoo you had on your arm.
"Well, that's harder to explain. Some humans really like it, the pain, Some find it comforting and others find it excruciating! It depends on the human. But the reason is also a lot to explain." You sipped your tea. "Some humans like the looks and styles. Some want to have a picture or a design on them to remember something. Like, if someone close to them has died, then they may want to get their name tattooed onto their arm or hand."
He nodded and leaned closer, his eyes narrowing. "And you got this to remember someone?"
"No, I got this because I liked it, and I've always wanted to get a tattoo to see if I liked it." You smiled and shrugged your arm. "You can touch it if you want. It's been healed for years now."
He reached out and pressed his large hand on your arm. He was surprised it was smooth there, expecting a bumpy or rough texture. His fingers trailed down your arm to where the tattoo ended and he quickly retracted his hand. "I see."
You watched carefully as your heart sped up. He had a gentle touch, but you could feel his strength in it. You smiled and nodded. "So yeah, but um, I could also tell you about birthdays. Can you guess what those are?" You stood up and went to the stove. You opened the pot and stirred the food inside. Beside you, Konig walked over to lean back against the counter. You noticed he would stay close to you ever since you brought him inside and it made you smile. He reminded you of a small kid, in a sense.
"Birthdays. Is this a day where many humans are birthed alive?" He asked with all seriousness.
You giggled and looked at him. "That's a good guess but no, its usually just one person. So a birthday is the day a person was born. And usually every year they would celebrate it with people they are close with." You hummed. "My birthday already passed, but since I live alone here I just ate a slice of cake and watched a movie." You tapped your finger on the counter. "So, a birthday party is just celebrating that the year has passed and you've lived long enough to have surpassed it."
He nodded and looked at the pot of food. "And how are humans born?"
"Humans are born like, in a live birth. The mother has to pass them through her uterus." You thought about this and made sure he understood. "And human babies are born small and have to be taken care of most of their life. Until they reach adulthood. How were you born?"
Konig thought about this then answered. "I don't know. I only remember living in the lake all my life. My earliest memory is when I was smaller. And I found a small human who was my size. He was clinging to a log and was crying." He itched his neck as he recalled the memory. "I swam up to him and he screamed more. I couldn't talk so I tried to show him I could help him get back to the shore. I guess he understood, because he stopped screaming and he nodded his head. I knew humans didn't breath underwater so I kept him above water. After I got him to shore, he said something to me but I didn't understand." Konig stopped talking and then looked at you. "That is all I remember."
You pouted and tilted your head. "Well what happened after that?"
He shrugged and continued. "He ran away. So I left. I had to hunt for food."
"...Maybe he tried telling you thank you." You suggested. "But, that was a very nice thing you did for that boy. I think you probably scared him but, still. You saved his life."
He shrugged, looking down at you. "Perhaps." He watched as you lifted the spoon from the pot and blew on it. Then you carefully held up the spoon.
"Here, taste this." You said as you held it up some more.
He eyes the food sample before reaching up and dipping his fingers into the spoon, then shoving them under his hood into his mouth. He made a face before shaking his head and then taking a step back. "Ack! What is that? Why is...there's so much-..." He moved his mouth before he looked at you. "Why does this food have so many different tastes?"
You tried to search your brain to figure out what he meant. Then it clicked. "Oh! Flavor you mean? Um, there's spices in it. I used oregano, thyme, basil, paprika, turmeric..." you then tasted the food as well. "Hmm, it tastes fine to me. But I guess you've never had this before? Seasonings I mean."
"No, I've never had these 'seasons' before, on my food." He saw your quiet giggling and he felt his tentacles twitching under his hood. He disliked that he enjoyed your giggling.
"That's a crime in some states." You chuckled and turned the pot off. "Would you like some more to try again? If not, I could grill up some of the fish you gave to me." You wiped your hands on a towel and walked to the cabinet to grab two bowls.
He watched you as you reached up to grab them. His eyes wandered down you back and he felt his chest tighten so he looked away. When he looked at his own arm, Konig suddenly asked, "Who was that man with the dog? He seemed to be mad at you."
Your eyebrows furrowed at the question that seemed to come out of nowhere. You put the two bowls down and looked at him with a concerned look, but it softened. "That was Simon. He was upset because I wouldn't go out with him." You then looked at his healing dog bites as well and frowned. "He's usually a nice man, but he's pushy, and he has some problems. I don't like him because he can become violent when he doesn't get what he wants." Konig asked you to explain what you meant by 'asking out someone'. "So, that means to date someone." When he didn't understand that, you felt your cheek heat up. "Like, when one human wants to get to know another human but more personally, and maybe perhaps intimately. They go on a date, or go out and learn more about each other."
He felt his eyebrows furrow in a slow understanding. "Like, he was trying to mate with you?" His eyes widened. "That is why he brought you those flowers?" His back straightened. "He tried to force you to accept his courting item."
You put your hands up as if to calm him down. "Hey, its not like that. Humans have different ideas from 'mating'. I think anyways..." You chewed your lip. "Like I said, humans go on dates to know each other better before they decide to mate. And humans can decide if they don't want to continue or not. And I refused him."
He listened to your explanation and he nodded. So, human mating rituals were different than his. As he suspected. It was just additional steps. "This sounds like a long process for humans."
You smiled and nodded. "I couldn't explain dating to you tonight. Its too long and complicated. But, I'll fix you some food and I can show you a movie on the tv. Sounds good?"
Konig nodded a little, even though he wasn't sure how a movie or a tv worked. And he would have to ignore the crazy tastes that were in the food to please you. You already worked hard to make him this human dish, and he wouldn't make you work anymore.
I had to find someway to end this cause I wrote too much. There will be more. Obviously. I had a night of free time so, here's your late night snacks. Hope yall enjoy...
Next chapter will have more interesting subjects.
Well well well, here we are. Um, so I'm gonna be starting college in exactly a month...that'll be fun. And I'm looking for a job, that's fun. I got back from vacation in Arkansas and now I'm posting this from my boyfriends house. Yippee.
Warnings: Angst! Blood and death! Gun Kink! Degrading/Praising!
As always Minors DNI. Let me know if I missed anything...i posted this from my phone and it wouldn't let me edit sort of. Enjoy <3
Your eyes remained closed while your arms raised up, as if to protect you from gunshots. You expected to feel something, anything. Your body shook and when you heard something fall beside you, you finally opened your eyes and peered down. A quick inspection and you were fine, bullet free. “Oh god, Colonel you really shot them…” You heard Lyle mumble. Your head snaps to the side, Alex lay on the ground clutching their chest.
“Alex-” You fall to the ground and place your hands over their chest. They’d been shot in the left and right rib in lower and higher areas. “Oh god Alex, don’t-...I’m..I’m so sorry!” You knew you couldn’t save them. Their lungs were punctured on both sides and you had no equipment to help. Alex grabs your hand and you squeeze their hand, holding it with both hands. Your vision blurred with tears but you could see Alex barely give a soft smile. “Alex I’m so sorry, I’m so so sorry..” Your voice shook and you brought their hand to your head. “This wasn’t supposed to happen. Not like this.”
You squeeze your eyes shut and let out a sob. Slowly, their hand lost its strength but you didn’t let go of it. Footsteps approached you but you didn’t look, you didn’t let go. “Doctor.” It was Z-Dog. “...We can’t do anything for them.”
You open your eyes, turning and looking up at her. Behind you, Miles spoke. “Dr. Alex was a traitor to our operation and I won’t be harboring any more traitors.”
“Alex could have faced a trial back at the camp.” You stood up quickly and turned to face him. “You killed them in cold fucking blood!” He didn’t show any emotion towards you. Trying to keep a fearless expression, you pull the gun off of Z’s hip and aim it at him. The rest of the team seemed to become apprehensive. Quaritch didn’t flinch, instead he smiled. “Tell me why I shouldn’t do the same!”
He held his hand up, telling the team to lower their weapons while he inched closer to you. “Doc, everyone knows you’re not a killer.” His eyes were so relaxed, his ears were even perked upwards, as if he were more than happy to watch you threaten him. You knew if he got any closer he could snatch the gun away from you. You also knew any of the soldiers could shoot you down just like he did Alex. You felt your blood boiling at the thought. You wanted to look down at them but something kept you from doing so. Your finger twitched on the trigger and you realized their blood was still on your hands.
“You didn’t need to kill them.” Your voice shook. Miles stopped. “You know they’re going to question you when we get back.” And a voice in the back of your head told you the same thing. In fact, what’s keeping him from killing you too? He must know, or at least have some idea this was all your plans, not Alexs’.
“And I’ll answer all their questions with the truth. As I said before. They were a traitor, communicating and possibly conspiring with the enemy. I wouldn’t take the chance of getting me or my team captured or killed.” He stepped closer and kneeled down. “What will you tell them after you’ve killed me, Doctor?” You felt a violent tremor shake your body as tears flooded out your eyes. Quaritch grinned at you and took the gun out of your hands. “Besides,” He pointed the gun at your shoulder and pulled the trigger two times. Two clicks sounded and you gasped, your face going pale. “You can’t kill anything with an empty chamber.” He tosses the gun back to Z-Dog. He then took something out his pocket and tied your wrists together.You look down to see he ziptied your wrists. “We’ll have to question you back home. Now, let's set up a perimeter, we’ve already wasted enough daylight on this sob story.”
~~~~~
Every few minutes, Lyle and Z would glance back at you. Twice, Lyle had offered some water or a snack bar from the medic bag he confiscated. You didn’t answer him, or even look at him. Z-Dog gave Lyle an uneasy look, and Lyle sighed and shrugged. He decided he wouldn’t bother you anymore, knowing you were questioning the group of recombinant soldiers and their leader. Z was even more conflicted. She’s never seen you so intent to take someone’s life. When you pulled the gun from her holster, she was more worried about the repercussions you’d be facing rather than the death of Colonel Quaritch. Maybe she’d be worried about both but seeing you in a different light had (dare she say) frightened her. However, you never pulled the trigger.
Everyone in the group knew for certain you wouldn’t have pulled that trigger.
You were sitting against a tree staring at a flower that resembled a lilly. It was better than looking at the tarp that covered the body. It was further away from you, closer to the trailer but you could still see it. The soldiers converse while glancing in your direction once in a while. You didn’t want to look at any of them. Could you trust any of them entirely anymore? You never should have put trust into them in the first place. It was a bad work decision. You were their doctor. They were your patients.
Boots made their way towards you and you turned your head to look away. A sigh was given and then they squat beside you. Miles grabbed your hands and yanked them closer to him. You felt water hit your hands and turned to look at him. He was pouring out a water bottle over your hands. “I should have given you something earlier. Blood does stain after a while.” You wanted to yank your hands away but you could see in his eyes that he had consequences planned if you did. So you stared at him. Not in anger or in grief. You gave him a dead stare. Miles held your stare, then tilted his head down. “When we befriend people, and come to know and trust them, we look past their flaws. And when someone you know closely is accused of something outstanding, we tend to doubt and deny that of being possible.” He uses a torn cloth to wipe away the blood. “Most of the time we come to understand that what happened was not our fault. The person we thought we knew, was not who they made themselves out to be all along.”
“You didn’t have to kill them.” Your voice was low and hoarse. You didn’t realize it until now, but your throat was dry.
He ignores you. “But sometimes, we disagree with what we know.” His eyes meet yours. “We know better, know that deep down this person was committing serious crimes.” His stare was telling. Your eyes widened, because he knew. “But we choose to look past them anyway.”
He drops your hands but doesn't move. “I don’t understand what you’re after here. You know what I did. And from what I can tell you already knew.” You glance at the others but they aren't listening. “You didn’t shoot me because, what? You want more information? If you’re worried about someone shooting at us, well congratulations it already happened and it wasn’t the scientists hiding in the trees somewhere. It was you.” You spat out. “The scientists here aren’t out for blood like you, they just want food and supplies. That’s all I was doing, giving supplies.”
“Giving them coordinates to attack supply trains and use the Na’vi to take them down and steal the supplies. Correct?” He had taken his knife out when you weren’t looking and was playing with it, twirling it between his fingers.
“The electric trains that carry weapons?" Your eyebrows knit together as you think. "I didn’t send info about them, only meals and first aid.”
He was quiet for a second. “Alex did.”
“How-...What? I don’t understand this, the scientists didn’t want weapons, they only wanted supplies…” You blink a few times while looking down. “Alex wasn’t, they didn’t have the scheduled times for the trains unless they were-”
There was some yelling from the jungle and one of the soldiers came out with a screaming and hissing Na’vi child. Miles was up and walking over to investigate. Another soldier came out with two more children. They seemed small enough but from this distance, they were definitely taller than you. There were four children in all, two boys and two girls by the looks of it. Then they found a human boy with long dreads and an oxygen mask. You decided it would be best to stay where you were.
Miles was asking each kid a question and none of them seemed to be happy about it. He had finally gotten to the human kid and squatted down. You watched their exchange last a minute or two, then Miles stood and said something to one of the soldiers. When you looked at the other kids again, you saw the older girl staring at you. You looked away and wished you weren’t in this situation.
~~
It had been maybe 15 minutes and you noticed the children were whispering to each other in an almost panicked way. You look at the other soldiers but they didn’t notice. You stayed sitting against the furthest tree and decided you should probably get ready in case something happened. Which you were right. A soldier near you was shot with an arrow directly through his chest. You gasped and pushed yourself away. The rest of the soldiers were looking around, trying to see the attacker. You snap out of your trance and crawl over to the fallen soldier. You check his pulse but he was gone. You reach into his holster and grab the knife to carefully cut the zip tie off. You then quickly run over to the kids and duck down near the oldest boy. He was pushing his siblings away but you held your hand out. “C’mon hurry up, there isn’t much time.”
He stared at you skeptically but you sigh and grab his wrist, lucky that they were also cuffed with zip ties. “Why are you helping us?”
“I probably won’t be alive to help anyone later.” You got the tie off of him and handed him the knife. “Get your siblings free and hurry it up.” The sound of a helicopter made you look up.
Above the trees, the helicopter that brought you all here was lowering. It wouldn't be able to touch the ground but it was blowing the trees away. You tried shielding your eyes from the flying pieces of leaves and sticks when an arm grabbed you. You gasped as you were hoisted up. Then the ground below you started getting smaller. You became motion sick but held it together. Inside the helicopter you were thrown into the seat, getting strapped in by Miles. Besides you, the human boy with dreads was huffing, as if he had been fighting.
Miles looked at the both of you before sitting down in his own seat. You stared at him, then looked at the kid next to you. He looked like a teenage Tarzan, in a way. When he looked at you, you spoke to him. "I thought you got away with the others."
He didn't answer, only turning his head to look out the window of the helicopter.
~~~
Once the helicopter was taken back to base, you and the kid were escorted into two separate rooms. The boy, Spider, didn't speak a word to you. You hoped he didn't think you were a part of this.
Well, when you really thought about it, you were. Come on, you're their doctor.
You hear the door open and look up, expecting the general or someone of high status to walk in and demand what all your crimes were. Instead, Miles walked in. He looked fine, but you could tell something was wrong. He came and sat down, sitting across from you. His fingers tap the table as he thought of what to say but you beat him to it. "Well, by that look and your posture I take it I'm going to be executed…"
His eyes shoot up at you. "You're not being executed, or tried. You were attacked, and killing Alex was the only thing I could do to save your life."
You stare at him in confusion. "What? Attacked? I wasn't -"
"You got knocked on the head pretty hard, you found out Alex was a mole." He reaches up and pretends to touch your head but he yanks your hair. You yelp and reach up to grab his hands. "They hit you over the head with the bag, nearly finishing the job." He was staring at you hard, his jaw moved, like he was chewing something.
You stare at him, slowly leaning back in your chair and crossing your arms. "Why are you helping me?" You whispered, not realizing you had lowered your voice. Miles only looked down at you, his chewing finally stopped. You thought maybe he was chewing the inside of his cheek or lip.
"The doctors want to examine you, make sure you don't have any head trauma." He ignored your question but you felt that maybe you weren't ready to know his reasoning. He sighed and rubbed his face, finally muttering. "The boy we picked up."
"His name is Spider…I think."
"His real name is Miles, Miles Socorro."
You met his eyes, confusion crossed your features once again. "Miles Socorro? What like, he's your son?"
He didn't answer yet. You really looked at him, then for odd reasons, your face flushed at the words coming from your mouth.
"You're his father."
"That seems to be the case."
"So..then his mother-?"
"Died." His face was unreadable. "She fought in one of the last battles…and I thought she had left the planet with the baby. I was misinformed."
"Well babies can't travel in-"
"Yes I know I know." Miles sighed, finally looking at you. "we're trying to get him to tell us where the others are hiding."
You nod, looking down at the table at his hand. You ball your fingers into a fist but not out of anger. "What will happen to him after that?"
Miles seemed to be dreading that question. And he sensed you had more questions to ask. "I don't know. I didn't know he was here."
The door opened and a young woman around your age came in. "Sorry to interrupt, but we just need to check up on Dr. Linear."
Miles smiled and stood up. "Of course, we don't want her passing out."
You look up at him, watching his face carefully. He didn’t give anything away, only walking towards you and helping you up out of the chair. The doctor informed you which room you’ll be heading to and Quaritch assured her you’d get there. Once the doctor left, he turned to you and looked at the side of your head. You stare up at him in confusion.
“I’ll come by later. You’ll be given the rest of the day off to recover.” He leads you out the room. Before you turn away however he grabs your arm and yanks you closer to him. “And knock it off with this hero act. Before you really find yourself in some trouble.” He stares down at you, something hiding behind his eyes.
“Or what? You’ll have to kill me yourself?” You shot back. He grabs the back of your hair and yanks your head up so you would look at him. He smiled slightly at the gasp you let out.
“Careful princess, you’re not out of the fire yet.” His ear twitches when he hears people speaking down the hall and he lets go of you entirely. Turning, he walks away and you have to take a moment to compose yourself and curse at how easily you folded for him.
The rest of your day went by rather quickly. You were examined, asked to do this and that. The doctor noted that you were lucky to leave with nothing but a bruise. It made your eyes narrow but you agreed. She didn't know better.
You were given the rest of today and tomorrow off for recovery. The young doctor would notify your officers and the rest of your team that you would be out. But you had a feeling everyone already knew. She sent you on your way back to your room but you had other plans.
Making sure no one watched you, you would enter your office and close the door. You looked around the office and were pleasantly surprised to find that everything was left untouched. You sighed while walking to your desk. You didn't have your keys on you so you couldn't unlock the drawer that hid your old Morse code machine.
"How did I know I'd find you here?" A voice called from the door and you shot up from behind your desk. Of course, Quaritch was there walking in and closing the door behind him. You rolled your eyes and relaxed a bit. "Up to no good? Playing little miss hero again?"
"I'm not doing anything. I was just making sure my desk wasn't trashed." You shot back defensively.
"You were making sure no one found the communication machine hiding in your desk." He had raised his voice as he stepped closer to you. His ears were pressed back in aggravation. "You need to leave this alone."
You were filled with rage again, boiling over the top and you rounded the desk so you were in front of him. "You need to leave me alone Colonel. You should have just fucking shot me while you had the chance!"
In the span of three seconds you were laying on your back on the desk with a gun pressed against the side of your head. Quaritch had his other hand spread against your chest with a smirk ghosting his lips. You had to catch your breath from how fast he had moved. "I believe it's time I put you back in line."
You narrow your eyes, almost ignoring the gun now. "Oh? Like how I had you on your knees last time we were in this ro-" his gun was shoved against your mouth and you let out an annoyed groan. It was a smaller gun, a pistol probably. But of course it was larger to comfortably fit the hands of the Na'vi soldiers.
"Kiss it." He was staring down at you, his gaze was hard and something about that look made you shiver. You glanced down at the gun once again, then slowly up at him. You press your lips to the side of the gun and kiss it, then moving higher, you kiss it again. His eyes moved between your eyes and your mouth while that hard look he was holding faded.
He pulls the gun away, then grabs your arms and holds them above your head on the desk. Then he places the barrel of the gun against your clothed womanhood. You struggled against his hold but knew you weren't going anywhere. "Miles what are you-"
"Shut up." He presses the gun against you and you gasp at the feeling. Then he holds it there. "Ride it." You looked up at him shocked and confused. "Buck your hips against the barrel or I'll fuck you with it instead."
You swallow thickly. Glancing down at the gun, you notice he never took his finger off the trigger. You bite your lip and do so. Letting your hips rise up off the table and slowly drag up the barrel of the gun. Then your hips move back down and you groan. You weren't a genius when it came to gun anatomy and names, so you couldn't say what was pressing against what. It was disgusting and dangerous. But…
It felt good.
You move your hips again, eyes fluttering when something rubs against your clothed clit. Why did it have to feel so good? A chuckle breaks your focus and you look up at him. "Who knew you were such a filthy slut? Look at you. Fucking yourself against my gun." He leans down and presses his mouth against your neck. "What a pretty little slut you are…"
Your heart was racing and a whimper escaped your lips. You kept thrusting your hips against his gun while he pressed small teasing kisses against your neck. He wasn't giving you anything too heated which you hated. You needed him to touch you, bite you or something. Anything.
"Miles please-" A shudder runs down your spine and you look up at him.
He looks at you with that hard gaze. "Please-" he ruts the gun against your clothed cunt and you gasp. "-what?"
You wanted to cry out, but kept yourself composed. You slowly bring your hips up against the gun and back down with a soft moan. "Please fuck me."
He sighed while looking down at his gun. He pulls it away and chuckles softly. He puts the gun into his holster and turns his attention back to you. "Are you going to do what I tell you to?" You give a quick nod, desperate to feel him. "Good girl." He picks you up by the arms he was still holding and pushes you out the door of your office.
You turn to him, confused as he closes the door behind him. He gives you a grin and puts his hands on his hips. "Go to your room. Get some rest. Maybe I'll visit you tonight, maybe I won't."
And he turned away, walking down the hallway away from you. You took a step forward but paused. The nerve of this guy…to do what he just did and then leave like nothing happened! With a huff of frustration you turned and began heading to the rooms where you stayed.
Mentions of blood, sex(non-con if you think about it but it's not depicted) gun mentioned not used, under the cut. But this is not your typical damsel attacked by vampire.
(don't tell my guy friend but I got my inspiration from the books he recommended me, Necroscope. Second book.)don't read those books if you like vampires; it will haunt you.)
~
Vampires can control people's minds, they lure them away somewhere secluded, drink their blood, then leave. That's what König has done the last few centuries. He finds a victim, hypnotizes them, brings them to an alleyway, or maybe his home, and then drinks their blood. If he's feeling pent up and his victim is horny, he'll fuck them as well. He's not picky, having male, female, trans, partners. Could he call them partners? No, he shouldn't.
He of course, makes sure that his victims are well fed and have drank something before he disposes of them. Like a blood bank perhaps. They give him blood, he gives them food and water. He knows sometimes the sex thing isn't what everyone wants so he's careful to pick his victims on that part, like if he can smell their arousal. But always, after sex, he erased their memory. He doesn't have to, but perhaps the human part of himself would feel guilty. It already does, he thinks bitterly.
So here he is in a nightclub, watching bodies dance across the floor as lights flashed across his body and face. He sat perched at the bar stool, a glass of wine in his hands. He was glad that he could still drink liquids. Though the thirst for blood always gnawed at the back of his mind. His eyes searched the floor, looking for someone, anyone, who was by themselves. Tonight, it seemed couples and friend groups ruled the floor.
He didn't waste much time, setting his half empty glass of wine down and leaving the loud club. His ears thrummed as the music no longer blasted in his ears, but the ringing didn't stop. He stood outside, then in his peripheral vision, he spotted a person sitting on the curb. You. Your outfit looked like the clubbing type, and your eyes were half lidded. Though you were sitting, you were swaying slightly, because you were buzzed.
Perfect.
He came up to you and tilted his head. "Are you waiting for someone?" His accent was heavy as he spoke. He watched your facial features shift as you registered his voice.
"I'm supposed to say yes." You mumbled. You hadn't looked up at him. He shifted and kneeled down beside you, waiting for you to look at him. The trick with hypnotism, is that the victim must look into his eyes. When he first discovered his ability, he would accidentally hypnotize people often. He was older now, and he has better control of it. "I don't know if they're coming anymore.."
König studied your face, tracing over your features. You were beautiful, in his opinion. Your hair framed your face perfectly, and your body seemed to only enhance your beauty. He nods and looks up at your eyes again, waiting. "Your friends abandoned you? How cruel..."
You snorted and shook your head. "No, they didn't do that." Your words slurred. "My Uber, I tried getting one but my phone died, after, it sent." You sigh and look down at your phone, then slowly turn your head. Your eyes met his. He had an alluring mix of green and blue eyes, they reminded you of marbles.
König stared up at you, watching you stare back. Then he spoke. "Come home with me, I'll take care of you." At this point, he knows he has you. Your eyes locked on his,half lidded and unmoving. There was a faint scent of arousal on you, but he decided he wouldn't fuck you. Some kind of guilt washed over him as he stared at you. Such a beautiful person who was alone, abandoned.
But then you looked away and hummed. "No thanks."
What the hell.
He stared at you dumbfoundly, watching as you let out a long yawn. You rejected him?? After he hypnotized you?
Maybe he didn't then? Did his hypnosis not work for some reason? He looked around, stood up and walked to a group of people. He pulled a guy aside quickly, ignoring his protests and looked him in the eyes. The guy froze and König spoke, "Go and punch that stranger."
The man turned and found the person, another male who was bigger than himself and right hooked him. The other man angrily punched back without hesitation, and a fight began to break out. Slowly, König's head turned towards you. You were clumsily standing up, and walking away. He watched then decided to follow behind you quickly.
So you were immune? Were you perhaps, also a vampire? König stopped you, standing in front of you and grabbing your face. "Hold still." He moved your lips and looked at your teeth. He stared, but your teeth shape didn't suggest fangs. They were normal. You groaned in annoyance and slapped his hands away.
"Let go of me you creep!" You shook your head but paused when he grabbed your face again. You looked up at König and he was staring you down intensely. As he did, you felt a slight headache surge through your head and you cringe. It happened before when you looked at him but you chalked it off as too much booze, not enough water.
"Come home with me." He said, more like demanded again, and you reached into your pocket.
"No!" You pull out your pepper spray and let rip across his eyes. He screamed and groaned, wiping them while you began to run back towards the club. He watched, the sting was already gone and his confusion was only intensified. You made it inside and shakily asked the bartender for help, who did so in a flash. They offered water and if you wanted to call the police but you denied the last, going with their first offer.
You were brought home, after getting your phone charged a little, you phoned your roommate and explained how you were attacked kind of. When you got back to your shared apartment, your roommate was outside waiting, with a gun.
You snorted, still in your buzzed state as you walked inside with her. "That guy is long gone, put the glock away." She seemed uneasy and started asking you dozens of questions.
You tried to give your full account of everything, but you were tired. You mentioned you kept getting a little headache but it was gone now. Then you mentioned how the man pulled at your lips to look at your teeth, which you were laughing about. Why was that so funny?
But your roommate looked terrified. You stopped laughing and calmly explained that you had the whole thing handled, and she nodded slowly. She helped you to bed and told you she'd need to talk with you in the morning. You thought you'd be getting a lecture of some kind, and you groaned at the thought.
As you drifted to sleep, you failed to notice the lurking figure looking at you through your 3rd story window.
