!!! MINORS DNI !!!

Everyone else, enjoy.

You may have needed new office shoes by the time you were done running around. After sending the message and hiding away the telegraph, you went on an egg hunt for the equipment you needed. Surprisingly all you needed was to gather clothing to wear and a backpack with medical supplies. Too bad most of it was in different areas of the base. It took 10 minutes to find clothes in your size, then protective gear, then the shoes which also took a few minutes. After acquiring the clothing needed, you were told the breathing masks and other items(like optional weapons) would be brought at the meeting tomorrow morning before leaving base.

It didn’t take up your whole day so you returned back to your office. It was empty, no notes, no emails, no patients. At some point, you decided coming along this mission was a good idea. If something were to happen, which you doubted, you’d be there to respond faster. After thinking it over, you also decided this was wrong and you were being manipulated by your own thoughts into thinking this was a good idea. This was in fact, not a good idea. You sat at your desk, coloring some silly page that had rainbows and birds on it with some color pencils. You don’t remember how you got the pencils but they’re here. Might as well use them.

Somewhere around noon, you decided to lay your head down. You didn’t have much to do on slow days like this or any unfinished paperwork. After a 30 minute nap, you would go to the lunchroom and see about getting a sandwich, or maybe a loaded salad. You drifted off to sleep, not remembering to set an alarm or close your office door all the way.

~

Miles was pretty pissed off at himself. Usually he’s more level-headed when it comes to women, so you shouldn’t have had such an affect on him for this long. He shouldn’t have let you get an advantage over him, he shouldn’t have been so dumbfounded. Now he was picking at the mush of meat and tortilla pieces that litter his plate. He wouldn’t admit that he was embarrassed.

Lyle was speaking to Walker while Z-Dog, Brown and Ja also sat around the table, chatting and eating today’s mystery meat. Lyle had hummed and glanced around before mumbling. “I haven't seen the doctor yet. Is she skipping lunch?”

“Hm?” Walker also glanced around. She shrugged. “Did she have a big breakfast today? She doesn’t skip meals.” This caught Miles’ attention so he listened without peering up.

“No she had some cereal I think,” He took a big bite of his food. “Maybe someone should check on her.” After speaking, he glanced at Miles. So did a few others, but Walker turned her head completely.

He sighed and looked at all of them. “Yeah I’m on it.” He stood up with his tray. “So much for drawing sticks.” He turned and walked away. Then beside him, Lyle appeared and grinned. “Yes, Lyle?”

“Bring her a salad and a fruit cup. My guess is she’s either sleeping or forgot to eat again.” He grabs a juice pack before turning and walking back to the table. Miles kept wondering why none of them went to check on you but he also had a sneaking suspicion everyone knew already. He decided to listen, sneaking a salad bowl and a small fruit cup out the lunchroom and towards your office.

What would have taken 5 minutes actually became 10, then 15. He purposely stopped in the hallways a few times every time he thought about what happened earlier. His tail flicked in annoyance and frustration but he hid it well on his face. He was hoping you wouldn't say anything about it. Miles had scoffed at himself. The man has faced creatures bigger than him before, and here he was hesitating about walking into your office. He rolled his eyes and finally got to your office door.

 He shifted the items in his hand to knock but saw the door was open. When he peers inside, he sees your form, slumped over the desk using a sweater as a pillow. Miles walks inside and gently closes the door with his foot, then he walks to the desk and sets the food down. You didn't move, didn't stir in your sleep or anything. He kneels down beside your chair while studying your face. When he glanced behind you, he could see the clothing items and shoes needed for tomorrow.

He smiled for a minute. He could guess you were stressed about tomorrow, he couldn’t blame you. His hand reached up and gently laid on your shoulder. "Wake up princess. Time to eat." He shook your shoulder lightly but you were already opening your eyes.

You sat up and looked at Miles, then around at your office. "Oh god what time is it?" You lean over your desk to stretch your arms out and you spot the two food items.

"Lunch time. Your soldiers got worried when you didn't show up for lunch so they sent me to deliver that." He slipped his hand off your shoulder and stood up. You didn't ask any questions. You had grabbed the two items, opening the salad and fruit cup and using the fork to start eating. Miles hid his smile as he watched, your eyes were closed and it looked like you could still be sleeping. "Had a good nap there doctor?"

You shrug, opting to stuff your face rather than speak. Despite your current sleepy expression, you were happy to be eating something. You wondered if he had help deciding what to bring, and you could see one of the other soldiers telling Miles what to bring. You finally paused your eating to speak. "Thank you for bringing this." He sat in the chair in front of your desk and you watched him closely. "How are you feeling today Colonel?"

He perked up at this, raising an eyebrow but shrugging anyway. "Better I suppose." You nod and move onto the fruit cup, watching him with an almost bored expression. Miles wasn't too comfortable under this gaze. "Why do you ask?"

"Because of earlier."

"So, is this an apology?"

"Why should I be apologizing?"

"No particular reason-"

"Because I gave you a boner and kicked you out of my office?"

He smiled. "You're very blunt about things. I like that about you." His jaw moved, he was thinking before he spoke. "That was inappropriate of me."

You finished your fruit cup and set it down. "Yes, but I was also acting immaturely I suppose." You threw away the bowl and cup, making sure any food bits were thrown away. "I made rude comments and hurt your ear. Sorry."

Miles hummed, glancing at the clothes and boots that sat on a small cabinet behind you. "Are you feeling stressed, doctor?"

You were stretching your back and answering honestly instead of sarcastically. "Yes, very stressed. I thought I had discussed this earlier." You mumbled and sat back in your chair.

"I guess so." He smiled at you. "I've been a bit stressed as well. I don't admit it, but nights before a mission are terrible. I probably won't sleep tonight."

He watched as you slipped to doctor mode. "I have sleep medicine if you need some." You had stood up and walked to the cabinet behind him. "I understand though, I'll probably take some sleep medications myself." You grabbed two bottles and closed the door. "They're capsules. You take two, 30 minutes before going to bed and they should put you right to sleep."

You turn around while reading the bottles, only to feel a hand grab your hip and another slip behind your head. You felt lips pressing against yours and your stomach doing somersaults. You felt your body tense up then relaxed choosing between giving in or pushing him away. The bottles in your hands dropped and you closed your eyes. This was wrong, and you knew it.

You wrapped your arms around his shoulders and he pushed you against the cabinet, never breaking the kiss. You were liking this a little too much. He tangled his hand in your hair and you opened your mouth to sigh, Miles took this opportunity to part your mouth with his tongue and you whined at the feeling. The things you threatened and promised earlier were breaking apart. He pulled away from you which gave you time to catch your breath.

He looked down at you and chuckled, watching your face turn red. He was on his knees in front of you but his posture hinted a more dominant look. "If I may, doctor, I recommend you relax before tomorrow."

You watched his eyes, glancing at his lips and seeing that stupid smirk of his. "Yeah? I could order medication but that takes a while to come in. So, you have any other alternatives?"

He leaned down and mumbled against your ear. "I have a few activities in mind, if you'll stop pretending to hate me."

You scoff and glance at the door of your office and see shadows passing underneath. "Not here." He looks at you and you slip out of his grasp. "If you'd like, I can see you again later this evening." You spoke loud enough so anyone outside might hear. You were writing on a sticky note your living quarters number and a time. "Those pills should do the trick. Remember what I said about taking them." You look up at him as he takes the note from you.

"Thank you, doctor." He grins and pockets the note and the pill bottle. "I'll be sure to remember." There were a few knocks as he was speaking. Miles opens the door. “Ah, I know your face but I can’t remember your name.”

You peered past him and smiled. “Hey Alex, did you need something?” You watched Miles duck through the doorframe and wave both of you off. Alex waved back and turned to you.

“I have great news! So some of the research from the last expeditions years ago weren’t completed. And since the recom team and you are going into the jungles tomorrow, I get to come along to attempt to complete the missing files. Isn’t that great?” They grinned, like a kid who was excited to go on their first field trip. You were not grinning. You weren’t sure what expression you wore but Alex seemed to dim down. “Hey are you okay? This is good news because I get to tag along with you.”

“No, no, that is good news.” You smiled apprehensively. “It’s just, you and I have never set foot outside this station, is all. I’m worried for our safety out there.” You took a deep breath. “And the soldiers’ safety.” This was a lie. You were worried about the team finding out you were a traitor. And now, how Alex would react. You didn’t really have a plan or think about the consequences. Just get the supplies out there and let fate decide the rest.

Now the thought of disappointed faces, looks of hatred from your friends, haunted your consciousness.

Alex smiled again. “That’s good though, it means you’re a good doctor.”

You play off your troubled look with an eye roll “Yeah but what am I supposed to do when a wild animal attacks me? Prescribe it with some tranquilizer? Shake a pill bottle and throw it? Here boy, go fetch!” At this, Alex chuckled, covering their mouth and shaking their head. You smiled as well. “If you want and if we have time, I can make us both a cup of coffee before we head out.”

“Ah that would be wonderful. Hopefully it’ll soothe my nerves a little.”

“If anything it would wake you up some more.” You lean against the doorframe and smile. “Personally I’m more worried about getting some sleep.” This was also a lie.

~~~
You had checked your bag twice, and now, three times. You had the extra supplies that you promised the scientists out in the jungle. It was stored in a medium sized delivery bot you used to send items often. You also had some medications, extra batteries and some dried foods. Hopefully that was it. Then on the side you had medical equipment and some travel snacks. You knew this was a serious mission but if there’s a lot of walking then the soldiers are gonna get hungry.
Now you sat on your floor, your bag was zipped, clothes and shoes were folded neatly and ready for tomorrow in your small storage closet. You stared into the closet, feeling like you were forgetting something. You gnawed on your bottom lip while in thought, glancing around the dimly lit room. Perhaps you should write an apology letter in case you do happen to get caught and die, in whichever order it may happen. You stood up and paused again. Was that what you were forgetting? You couldn’t put your finger on it. A few sharp knocks took you out of your trance and you looked at the door.
“Uh, who is it?” You had creeped to the door, peeking out the peephole and let out a small gasp.
Out in the hallway, a tall figure was bending down to look back into the peephole. “Room service.” You covered your mouth to hide a laugh. You opened the door and looked at him.
“I forgot you were coming over.” You bit back your smile.
He stood up straight and made a look of shock. “Well, if you weren’t expecting company I guess I’ll see my way back to my room.”
You raised an eyebrow. “So you’re going to be a pussy and leave?”
Now he looked offended. “I didn’t say anything about bein’ a pussy, just bein’ a gentleman but if that’s how you see it, then I guess I’m staying.” He leaned against your doorframe, towering over you. “So princess, you gonna let me inside or stand there and bitch at me?”
You roll your eyes. “I should just leave you out there like a stray, Colonel. Get inside before someone calls security on you.” You move aside and watch him duck into your room. You peek out into the hallway for a second then close the door. “Hope the ceiling is high enough for you.”
When you looked at him, he was practically foraging your desk. “Why do you have so many- is this embroidery?” You had run over and yanked it out of his hands. “Here I thought you couldn’t get any more interesting.” He smiled.
“Yeah well I had to take up some kind of hobby or I would have gone absolutely batshit. Knitting was next.” You put down the unfinished embroidered hoop then glare up at him. He was still smiling, but looked at the ordered mess.
“Now doctor, please tell me,” He picked up a copy of a Jurassic Park novel, “you read this after you decided to clone me and not before.” He turned it over to read the back. “A bit ironic don’t you think?”
“No, not at all.” You tried to take the book from him but he held it up high so you couldn’t reach. “If I'm working with animals then I might as well read about some- stop ransacking my shit Quaritch, I have everything in a specific order here.” He glanced down at you, shrugging and handing it to you. You take the book and set it down, looking over everything else. “Honestly I would have expected you to snoop through my panty drawer like an old pervert but you surprised me too.”
“Oh yeah?” He sat on your bed, seeming to make a face when he did. “Which drawer is that?” He turned and watched you as you sat beside him. You crossed your legs on the bed but didn’t look at him.
Thoughts ran through your head, you had questions to ask. “I know this might be a bit early for pillow talk, but how does it feel to be in there?” You finally look up at him, craning your neck. He hums and looks at his knees, then his hands. He holds them up and flexes his fingers.
“The same. But taller. And bluer.” He looks at you and you roll your eyes. “Don’t tell me you want to run around in one of these bodies doctor.”
“No, no nothing like that.” You shrug. “Everyone has different reactions and feelings when waking up in their new bodies. I can’t remember who, but one of the soldiers said they felt like their self from before had changed somehow. Like their body and their consciousness collided and adapted to this body.” You were staring into nothing now. “I know you’ve been on this planet much longer than I have, you’ve seen what the Na’vi here worship and believe in. Now I’m no scientist or hippie tree hugger-”
“You’re starting to sound like one.”
You looked at him and he watched you with stern eyes. You sigh. “Yeah forget it, you might shoot me instead and fuck the bullet hole.”
He laughed. “No no, go ahead please. Continue.” He waved his hand.
You watched him as you continued speaking. “You aren’t curious what secrets would be held inside this planet? You’re one of them now like it or not, and that grants you a better chance at  getting closer and exploring this crazy spiritual or religious-” You shrugged your shoulders trying to get the words out without revealing you actually knew the correct terms. “God I do sound like one of them don’t I?” You rub your face and hear Miles’ deep chuckle beside you.
“I think I understand what you’re getting at.” He held out his hand to you. You stare at it, unclear what he was doing until you placed your hand in his. He pulls you into his lap and you shift so you straddle him comfortably. “I was never a spiritual person, or religious for that matter. I follow orders, I do what I am told and I don’t question it.”
“You died.” You pointed out. “Not saying that you shouldn’t have followed those orders.” You had begun to fiddle with the hem of his shirt. “I don’t know the specifics of this mission. They’re classified to me, but you know them. And I won’t seduce you to try and get information out of you.” You smirked up at him then looked at his chest. “Would you do it again if you knew you would die?”
He watched you, looking to the side for a few seconds, then sighing. “Yeah. Believe it or not, princess I would.” He looked down at you, his hands sliding up and to rest on your hips. “Maybe a little better coordinated.”
“Hm, wow. Yeah.” You nodded, pretending to look surprised as you dusted his shoulder off. “Glad you have that figured out colonel. Hope you’re putting all this brain power into tomorrow’s mission.”
“I better not get any of this shit tomorrow in front of my squad.” He tightens his grip on your hips. “Cause I will-” He paused when your hips rolled into his.
You smirk up at him, your hands resting on his chest. “Sorry? You’ll what?” You roll your hips again, feeling him grow hard beneath your ass. “Use your words colonel.” His ears flickered.
"You little minx." He picks you up and flips you around so you're laying on the bed, his tail flicks behind him. He leans down and kisses you hungrily, his body pressing down on yours. You had smiled a little in the kiss but it disappeared when his hand slowly slid down the hem of your pants. You gasped as his long fingers reached your thighs, then tugged at your underwear. He broke the kiss with a groan, reaching up and taking off his shirt, muttering about it being too hot in here.
You chuckle, admiring his bare torso. “Would you be a gentleman this time?” You reach and tug the hem of your pants while raising your leg towards him. He grabs the ends of your pant legs and slips them off. He traces his fingers down your legs, leaning down and kissing your knees. He watched you while he moved closer, trailing his lips down your inner thighs. You shudder as you watch, his fingers loop around the hems of your underwear. You roll your hips and sigh. “Miles please…”
“You can be patient, princess.” He pulls your underwear off and throws them to the side, then he stares down at you for a few seconds. You close your legs, even pulling your shirt down a little.
“What? Don’t just stare like that.”
“Don’t do that.” He comes closer, removing your hand. “Just relax darlin.” He leans in between your legs, kissing right above your clit then moving down. You sigh, biting your lip as you watch. He sticks his tongue out and licks deeply between your lips. Miles groans into you, licking into your sweet spot quickly. He gripped your thighs with both hands almost wrapping around them completely and kept them open.
You had covered your mouth at the unexpected feeling hitting you, not wanting your neighboring coworkers to hear you. You reach down with your free hand and run it through his hair, feeling the shaved head beneath your fingertips. He suddenly pushes his tongue deep within you and you gasp as both hands scratch the sides of his head. “Miles-” You reach up to cover your mouth again, groaning into your hand. “Fuck, Miles~”
He peers up at you, moving up to circle your clit with his tongue. He was practically getting drunk off of all the little sounds you kept making. And when you said his name in that breathy moan…He wanted to fuck the absolute hell out of you but he needed to help you get prepared. The colonel remembers when he was looking at himself after he had been transferred. At first he hadn’t thought of any difference other than the color schemes changing and maybe the size, that was a given. But in the office, when you had threatened him and gave him that hard on, he became aware of what he truly possessed between his legs. And now here, as he lapped your sweetness between your legs, he knew he could really hurt you if he wasn’t careful.
It wouldn’t be the first time he’s hurt a woman because of his size. Even as a human, he was well sized and occasionally wasn’t careful.
He kept at your clit as he reached up and teased your entrance with his fingers. Once they were slick enough, he pushed his middle finger in slowly. You groan at the feeling, closing your eyes. You roll your hips into him and he feels his own hips push into the side of your mattress. After a few pumps, he adds another finger, making you gasp at the stretch.
“Fuck, is that three?” You whine out as you look down at him. He wanted to laugh but instead he pumped his fingers faster. Your head rolls back and your legs begin to shake. He felt it and decided to pull your legs over his shoulders. You had let out a moan or a gasp at each pump, mumbling incoherent sentences. Miles noticed as your voice became louder, he could understand you were muttering soft pleas and praises. Things like, “Please please please don’t stop, don't stop,” and “Oh yes yes god you’re so good.” He growls into your skin and adds a third finger. You didn’t have time to mutter anything as you felt your climax spread and shake your body. Miles felt you spasm and clench around his fingers and he curses. The pants he had on were a mess now.
You were panting, covering your eyes and speaking low. “Please tell me…three fingers was enough?” You didn’t look up but you felt him moving now. First, your shirt was pulled off of your body, along with your bra. An instant coolness settled on your dampened skin and you sighed. Then you watched as Miles undid his belt, then his pants and zipper and- “No.” Your eyes widened. “That is-”
“It’s a bit more than three fingers.” He gets on the bed and strokes himself a few times. “Listen princess, it's gonna take some adjusting. But if you can’t take it, tell me to stop.” He held your chin so your eyes locked with his. “Understood?”
You nod your head a little. “Yes, sir.”
“Good. Lie back for me.” You did as he asked and let him move between your legs. You watched as he lined himself with your entrance. “Fuck this is gonna be a tight fit.” He began to press into you, making you groan and bite your lip. The tip slips in and he lets out a deep moan, his hand slamming into the wall behind your bed. He was holding himself back from fucking you hard. He had to wait. You shift your hips and he takes it, bucking his hips into you and ripping a cry from your throat.
"Fuck it's too much!" You muttered into your elbow. It was huge and you should have known with two different sized forms that it was going to be painful. You had actually dreaded it when you first had your daydreams. It oddly excites you in a scary way. "Oh god please go slower, please…" you looked up at him.
Miles was looking down, one hand now gripping the edge of the mattress and the other was holding your thigh. He had a deep look of concentration as his ears flattened and perked. His eyes dart up to meet yours and his ears perk up again. "Alright darlin' I won't move till you tell me."
Your eyes close and your head falls against the pillow. The pain was bearable, slowly it subdued and you nodded once you thought you were ready. He thrusts into you and a yelp leaves your lips. "Easy! No more than an inch!" You whined out, peeking up at him again. He laughs, dipping his head down to rest against your forehead.
"Yes ma'am." He kisses you, letting his tongue tease at your lips then pulling away. He then presses his hips forward and you let out a loud groan. This time you grab a pillow and hug it to your face. It felt like he was all the way in with how much he filled in. You were sure to be sore tomorrow and you debated somehow calling in sick for tomorrow. The pillow you had on your face was ripped from your hands and thrown on the floor. "I wanna see that beautiful face of yours when I'm fucking you."
You felt your face go red. "What if I'm too lou-" his thumb finds your lips and he presses it into your mouth.
"I can find a few ways to preoccupy your mouth." His thumb rubs up and down your tongue and you swallow around it. His eyes almost softened as he mumbled, "Fuck, that mouth of yours." He thrusts again and you moan around his thumb. He glances down and smiles. "Almost got me halfway darlin'."
You release his thumb and he moves his hand to grab your hip. "Go a little deeper, please." He obeys and pushes in, thrusting in and out little by little. Each time would drag a small whine from you. He reaches a certain point you can't explain that causes your back to arch slightly. You grab his hand resting on you and squeeze it. "Fuck wait, right there." You look at him.
He nods, licking his lips quickly. "I don't think I can go in any further without reorganizing your insides sweetheart." He pulls out almost all the way before pushing back in slowly. You cover your mouth as a slow moan leaves you. You felt his lips at your neck, kissing then sucking. You hold onto his shoulder and feel as he begins to move in a steady motion. Your nails dig into his skin, feeling him suck harder before letting go and smiling against your shoulder. "Hope they don't see that tomorrow…"
You didn't have time to ask how bad it was before he was picking up speed. He roughly grabbed your hips as he fucked you in a normal pace. He would hit that spot that made you arch once in a while and you did your best not to be too loud. His hips snap into you quick and you gasp. His hand was quick to clamp over your mouth. He growled and pushed deeper, making you scream into his hand. It had you seeing stars, this new pain mixed with a questionable pleasure.
"Fuck darling I'm gonna cum," he removes his hand and kisses you instead, his tongue wrapping and swirling around yours. You could feel yourself tighten and spasm around him. A few more thrusts, just a few more. You had to tell him to keep it out of you but he's so deep already. You whimper and he stares down at you. "C'mon doc, tell me where."
His thumb was at your clit now and you had forgotten all about that cheat code. He started to rub small circles against it and you lost it, digging your nails into his arm and shoulder. "Fuck! Miles- in me please, please just fill me, fuck go faster!" Your legs were shaking now, partially wrapped around the blue body above you. He listened, thrusting faster and circling your bud. With a short cry and an arched body, you felt yourself reach a stinging, stretched bliss. As you had cried out, Miles grunted and finally planted himself deep inside of you, twitching as he finished. He had panted and you thought he even whimpered as he slowly pulled himself out.
Your eyes were still closed but you felt him shift off the bed. The bathroom light flicked on, water ran, then he came back and you jumped at feeling something wet and warm touch your thigh. You look down and see him frozen with a wet rag. "Don't shoot." He reaches down and gently wipes around your sore area. "You may need to bathe to get some of that out."
You nod but laid back down, eyes closed again. Your lower regions were already taking the effects, and you groan in thought. "I won't be able to work tomorrow."
"I guess we could have thought this one through a little better." Miles states as he stands up. You heard clothes rustling but didn't open your eyes. Was he leaving already? Then you heard your bathtub running. It went like that for a few minutes but you didn't want to move. Then he came back and picked you up off the bed. "I got you a bath ready." He sets you down inside and you let out a sigh at being submerged in the warm water.
You both didn't say anything for a while. He stays outside the tub being that he couldn't fit in it. He helps you wash up, get out and get dressed. Once he saw you could walk properly, he put on the rest of his clothes. "Miles?"
He looks down at you and smirks. "What princess, want me to stay the night?"
You scoff. "No." You cross your arms but stay sitting on your bed. "Thank you, for the stress relief."
He had walked over and leaned down, placing a gentle kiss on your lips. You had responded, even feeling his hand run up your back. He pulled away and his eyes were soft again. "Thank you, for having me over, doctor. Get some rest, I'll see you tomorrow." He lingered over you, then turned and walked to your door. Once he leaves and shuts the door, you fall back against your pillows and sigh. It wasn't hard to fall asleep that night.
~~~

The helicopter ride wasn't as bad as you initially thought. Once you and the others landed on the ground, Alex was clinging to the grass and gasping for oxygen. "I hate flying."

You grin. "Need something for that motion sickness?"

"Not motion sickness." They sigh, standing upright. "Just afraid of heights. But thank you." They pick up their bag that looks similar to yours and stand beside you. "It's a good thing I only had coffee."

You nod and pick up your bag as well, watching everyone else gather around Lyle and the colonel. You follow suit with Alex close by Everyone was already debriefed, Miles looked at everyone, nodded and turned. "Alright, we know our objectives. Keep in mind the wildlife and the locals, everyone."  He starts walking forward and everyone spreads out. You and Alex stay behind Lyle.

Z-Dog waves at Lyle, then signs the letters 'D-O-C' and rubs her neck. Lyle grinned and nodded, motioning to Miles who didn't see them, then at Alex. He nodes at her. She nods back. "Hey doc," she calls out, only being about 5 feet from you. "Mosquitos were bad last night?"

You blush, hoping the oxygen mask would have helped hide the obvious hickey. "Yeah yeah, that’s not childish at all Z."

"So you and Alex had fun then last night?" She questions. Lyle holds back his laughter when he sees Miles glance at them.

Alex turns red. "What?" They look between you and her. "Wait, we- we're not um-"

Lyle turned his head. "Ohh, you and Alex, huh doctor?"

Miles turned his head and snapped. "Focus, we need all eyes ahead." He looked forward, ignoring his tail swishing in annoyance. You, as well as a few others noticed. You smiled slightly, looking at Alex who was confused.

You shake your head. "Don't worry, they're just kidding."

"Hold." Miles stopped the group. He made a gesture and two of the soldiers crept forward into an open area. They looked around then the group moved forward. You spotted the old research trailer that was brought here years ago. Two of the soldiers went in to investigate. "We've made it to base 1, over." He had spoken into a mic. You watched as the soldiers were gathering around the giant war bot that lay fallen in the grass.

As they were all saying something, you kneel down and start digging in your bag. You slow in confusion, looking around. This wasn't your stuff. You look up to see Alex walking inside the trailer holding the same bag as yours. You curse and grab everything to follow them. Once inside, you see them with the bag opened and looking at the device inside. "Alex."

They looked at you confused. "Is this yours?"

"...yes, it's mine." You reached for it but they stopped you. “We switched by accident on the helicopter.”

"This isn't what I think it is, is it?" They examine it again and press some buttons on it. "Wait, Dr. Linear are you-" they look at you. Suddenly their eyes were filled with betrayal. "This is…for them isn't it? This is the same bot they kept telling us was being stolen and sent here."

"Alex." You stood there frozen. "Alex you don't understand, they needed help, I don't just ignore that kind of thing. They had kids here."

"Have they been tracking us too?" They looked at the robot again. "You know how they feel about us being here. They want us gone." Alex looked at you again. "I've seen what they did before."

"No that wasn't them, that was the Na'vi-"

"Doctors, you're needed outside." Miles called from outside the trailer. Alex stuffed the robot in the bag, giving you a look and exiting the trailer. You followed, leaving the other bag inside.  "Found anything inside?"

Alex looked at you, then shook their head. "No, I haven't gotten a good look yet." Then their bag began beeping and the delivery robot floated out. It began hovering and Alex jumped away from it. The others watched until Miles shot it with one bullet. Alex stared at it, then looked at you. You had gone pale. Everyone was quiet.

"Ah, so I was right." Quaritch tilted his head. "It was one of the fellow scientists. You've been sending out plans and medical equipment to the people out here."

"What? No it is not it's-"

"I'm sorry." Alex butted in. "I…was trying to do the right thing." They had stared at you. You shook your head. They were quoting you now.

"No no no it was my bag, we switched bags!" Your throat felt like it was closing up and it made your voice shake. "Alex didn't do anything."

Miles was watching both of you with hard eyes. You couldn't tell what he was thinking. "Is this true, Alex?"

They shake their head. "No, she's just trying to take the blame. I know how much trouble I could get into and she found the robot in the trailer. It's mine."

You stare at Alex feeling your heart racing, they stare back at you. "Alex please…tell them-"

Then two gunshots rang out.

Warnings: mentions of poison, mentions of suicide by drinking (nothing serious) slight mention of past abuse (you'd have to squint), some drinking, male masturbation, mentions of sex.

Minors DNI, everyone else, enjoy :)

~~~Read under the cut~~~
You turned on your side and kept your eyes closed. Breathe in, breathe out. Again. Then you sigh. You weren’t able to sleep, and being in an unfamiliar old room wasn’t helping. Griffin wasn’t wrong when he said the room hadn’t been used in years. You could see dust particles floating about the moment he opened the door. It was an old bedroom, with a dresser, a vanity, and a large bed. All covered in dust. You made a face when he first showed it to you. Not wanting to seem ungrateful, you grabbed a duster and a broom. It was 11 o’clock at night when you finished cleaning, but you were satisfied.
After Griffin brought you some of his clothes to sleep in, you thanked him and wished him a good night. He did the same and retreated into his bedroom. You got dressed, giggling at yourself for wearing even more men’s clothes, then got into the dust-free bed. The blankets were cool and fluffy, and the extra pillows on the bed made you feel as if you were lying upon the clouds. So, you lay there, staring up at the ceiling. Your fingers twisted at the fabric on your chest, and you inhaled to sigh but paused. Your eyes scan the shirt; then slowly, you lift it to your nose. You take a small sniff, and your nostrils are greeted with the faint scent of soapy sage wood and musk.
You blink, feeling how hot your face became. You sniff again, then let go of the shirt quickly; the fabric settles on your chest. How perverted you must seem right now! You close your eyes and frown as guilt begins to worm its way into your chest. Guilt for taking Griffin’s clothes, his room (even though he said he’s never used it), and guilt for leaving your fiancé all alone to cook and clean for himself. You open your eyes again and stare up. No, you knew it wasn’t guilt that made you think of your fiancé. It was fear, but you wished it was guilt. You silently wished that you could play the role of a good wife, like he said earlier. Your mother would have scolded you, should she be living in the same town. But your father? You smile softly, knowing he would probably knock the teeth out of your fiancé for ever hurting you.
You missed your parents terribly You knew moving to a larger city would be a challenge, especially for a single woman with no great status. You met with Johnathan, the son of your mother’s friend. He offered you a residence and food if you married him. And, of course, that sounded like a dream come true! And John was sweet, most of the time. But it didn’t sit right with you. Staying in that house and doing nothing all day except clean and cook and occasionally birth a child. You frowned again, looking away from the ceiling.
Then you met Griffin. The albino man who works with chemicals, solutions, poisons, and antidotes. He didn’t see you as a future housewife or mother, he saw you as an extra pair of hands that could be taught. You remember when you asked him why he allowed you to work with him. He looked over at you, still visible at the time. He had handsome features when his face wasn’t scrunched up in annoyance. Even despite his pale nature, he was beautiful. “You’re a capable human being with the same brain as a man. It’s ridiculous that some must be antagonized because of one’s gender. Women have gone to war, and hunted, why should I care…” He looked away and hummed. “You’re smarter than most men and women I’ve met anyway, I think that earns you a place as my research assistant, wouldn’t you agree?”
A smile graces your lips as you recall the memory. He’s been nothing but kind to you. He hasn’t yelled at you for breaking a vile, or sneered at you for cooking something he didn’t like. Though it’s rare to receive praise from the man, but you didn’t mind. He would speak up about something he didn’t like. One time you cooked a beef stew when it was cold out, and he ate two bowls worth. He left all the carrots inside the bowl however, then admitted that he hated carrots. So, you don’t cook with them anymore. Another time, you were cleaning the inside of a beaker, and he suggested a different way of cleaning and drying them, so your fingerprints didn’t stain the glass.
You sit up slowly and throw the blankets from your body. You decided you would go and drink a glass of water, hoping somehow that would help you sleep. Carefully you move across the floor and towards the door. Once you open it and peek outside, you spot Griffin’s door already open. You look towards the stairs, and you spot a faint light flickering below. Being careful not to make a sound, you head for the stairs and make your way down. In the lab, the light was brighter. A candle was lit and sitting on the counter, around the way was a headless and handless body. You watched for a moment as he moved, and you could notice when he turned his head by the way the collar of his shirt would bend.
You cross your arms and stand at the entranceway of the lab. “Griffin.” Your voice was soft but it didn’t stop him from jumping in surprise. His body turned towards you and he set down a book he was looking over. “I see you can’t sleep either.”
“Apologies if I disturbed your sleep.” He stretched his back then looked down at his desk. “I’ve discovered I can’t sleep without a blind on; my eyelids are invisible, so I see right through them. I’ve also discovered I don’t quite like sleeping with a blind on.” He sighed in annoyance. You took a seat across from him at the table.
“You didn’t disturb me. I suppose I couldn’t sleep with so many thoughts in my head. Worrying thoughts.” You look at the shirt, then let your eyes wander up to look at the invisible mass, where you know a pair of eyes are studying you. “I thought maybe a glass of water might help.”
A short ‘hmph’ sounded from his throat and he stood up. “I’ll join you. You know what they say really helps you to sleep? A glass of whiskey.” He walks to the kitchen with his candlestick leading the way. A smile forms on your lips and you tilt your head.
“You have whiskey? I didn’t know you indulged in that type of alcohol.” You follow him into the kitchen as you hear him mutter.
“I own one bottle of whiskey, a gift from an old friend. However, I also own a bottle of wine, also a gift. I only indulge when I think I’ve deserved some.” He opens a cabinet and takes out a beautiful-looking bottle of whiskey. “Or for a special occasion. Both don’t happen often.” He looks over the bottle, then looks at you. “Care for a taste?”
Your nose scrunched and you gave a nervous smile. “I’ve heard terrible things about whiskey. Like how disgusting it is…and how violent people become…” Your smile falters, and he notices. His thoughts carry to your fiancé’s drinking habits.
“I can assure you that it’s not the alcohol that makes you violent, it’s the person that acts upon it themselves.” He looks over the whiskey and then at you. “And I promise that one drink will not get you drunk.”
You weigh over the idea, knowing you’ve never had whiskey before but have heard a lot about it. “All right, I’ll try a little bit.” Griffin takes out two glasses and sets them down. He opens the whiskey, and you realize he’s never opened it before tonight. As he’s pouring, you ask, “Whiskey is a Scottish drink, correct?”
“Correct.” He closes the alcohol and puts it away. “The man that gifted it to me, traveled to Scotland himself and picked this up at a shop. He told me Scott’s drink as if the world is ending tomorrow.” As he handed you the glass of alcohol, he hummed and mumbled. “He warned me this stuff was strong.” He raises his glass, and you stare at him. He then reaches over to grab your hand holding your own glass, lifting it up as well, before tapping his glass against yours. “Cheers. Now you say cheers as well.”
A little laugh bubbles out of your throat and you grin. “Cheers.” You tap your glass against his and then watch as Griffin drinks his whiskey. The alcohol runs down his throat and you watch it disappear within his shirt. You then do the same, taking a drink of your whiskey as if it were water. A big mistake. You cough and cover your mouth, shaking your head. “Oh God what is that?” You could feel the whiskey literally burning your nose and throat. And somehow, it felt hot as it slid down.
You hear a mixture of coughing and laughter from across you. Griffin was covering his mouth with his sleeve, and he was doubled over. “I’m sorry, I guess I should have warned you…”
“It burns, is that normal?” You cough again and head to the sink for some water. “Am I allergic to this?”
Griffin chuckled again, a deep sound that you weren’t familiar with. You weren’t sure if it was the whiskey or him that sent goosebumps up your back. “That’s normal. I should have explained it better to you.” He finished the rest of his drink while you drank water from your cupped hand.
“How do people enjoy this? It tastes like poison, literal burning poison. At least I imagine that’s what it tastes like.” You turn the sink off and glare down at the cup of whiskey still sitting in your cup.
“It is poison. And many choose to drink it for different reasons. To get drunk, or to relax, to get tired. Or to slowly kill themselves. A bottle at a time.” He walks to the sink and places the cup down. “You don’t have to finish it if you don’t want to. But a tip for drinking any alcohol, except wine, is to drink it fast. Let it run straight down the throat. Wine is for flavor, this is not.”
You take in his words carefully. Licking your lips, you take the glass in your hands, quickly throw the drink back, and attempt to ‘let it run straight down.’ It does, however, still burn going down. And once again, it warms your throat and chest as you swallow it. You let out another cough and push the drink away once again. “I’m done…” You coughed again but Griffin could see a little smile on your face.
            He took both glasses and set them down in the sink. You turn to try washing them, but Griffin stops you with a hand on your back. “No need for that tonight. Go back to bed and try getting some sleep.”
            You frown and stare at the clothes that float before you. “I’ll try, but…I’m still worried.”
            “About what?” He questions you, still standing beside you with his hand resting on your lower back.
            You sigh softly. “Well…what if we can’t find a cure for you? You’ll just be invisible forever? And what about my fiancé? What if he comes in the morning with the police, o-or he tries breaking in?”
            “There’s a cure for everything, even if we haven’t found it yet. It will take some time, is all. And I have plenty of time. As for your fiancé, I’m sure he’s fallen asleep in some drunken stupor…if he tries breaking in, I’ll take care of it. Don’t worry.” You failed to notice the change in his voice when he admits this.
            You nod slowly, your eyes staring down at his shirt. His words helped only a little, and he seems to realize this. “It all feels like a massive burden on you, Griffin.”
            Warm, gentle hands touched your chin, lifting your face up so you looked up at the nothing that sat upon his shoulders. Once he had your eyes, he took your hands in his. “You’ve called yourself a burden twice now. I’ll not allow it a third time. You’ve done more good for me in this house than I’ve done for myself in years. I want no more talk of this, understand?” When you nod, he hums, and you think he nods back. “Good. Scientists like you and I shouldn’t doubt or worry. It’s not good for the brain.”
            A smile grows on your lips, and you tilt your head. “I’m a scientist now?”
            Griffin was quiet as he thought over his words, then he cleared his throat. “No, not yet. I could give you a test to see if you’re smart enough to be one. Not that you’d fail, I should have taught you everything I know by now.” He started mumbling. “Have I taught you everything? Perhaps I should have taken note…” His fingers were rubbing your hand, and you held back a giggle. You felt lighter and giddy. A little dizzy.
            “I’ll take any test you give me.” You grin. “I want to be a scientist.”
            “I can have that arranged.” He pauses before quickly letting go of your hands. He clears his throat once again. “You should go to bed now, I’m sure the alcohol is calming your system.”
            You give a small nod before walking to the stairs. You turn your head to the kitchen and smile softly. “Goodnight Griffin.” With that, you carefully climb the stairs and smile to yourself, finding the task to be funnier than it should be. And once you hit the bed, your mind seems to swim in bliss that wasn’t there before. Butterflies in your stomach and a head stuck in the clouds, it seemed. You think briefly that this was, in fact, the alcohol. Then you remember Griffin’s words and how he was holding your hand, and you let out another giggle followed by a yawn. Lulling you to sleep was the faint scent of his shirt, and when you finally slept, it felt like your body and mind were able to rest for the first time in forever.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
            He watches you leave the kitchen, knowing now that you were tipsy from one drink. It was too much, and he knew it; shame on you for almost wasting the small woman, he scolded himself. Once you are back in your room, he walks slowly to the lab and pauses. His mind kept wandering back to you. Your chin in his hand, how you looked up at him when there was nothing there. The soft touch of your hands in his. An invisible hand runs through invisible hair while Griffin lets out a deep sigh. What was happening to him? He was drunk, that’s the only logical answer. And with that logical answer, he knew he should go to his room and sleep.
            He walks upstairs, his eyes glancing at the door of your room. He walks inside his own room and shuts the door. Walking to bed, his mind wanders to his work, about his invisibility tests and blood samples. He’s yet to do a semen sample. His mind wanders for a moment, asking himself if it was appropriate to do such a thing after what just occurred. A grunt leaves his throat, and he gets up to find a clear test pallet. After laying down on the bed, he adjusts himself, imagining anything to arouse him. Using the long sleeve of his shirt, he covers his eyes to better imagine. He’s never had sex, but he’s witnessed it before, as well as read about it in a book that generously came with pictures. His pants become tighter, and he lets out a deep breath, palming himself.
            Griffin has done this before, plenty of times. He has needs like everyone else. But he usually never has the time to do so. He’ll imagine the photos from the books, combined with the sounds he’s heard from the couple that decided to fuck in the middle of a bar. His hand takes out his cock, slowly stroking it while his imagination played out. You appear in his head (almost immediately) and his hand slows to a stop, but he feels a shiver of delight run down his spine. This is sick, he thought to himself. You smiled at him, your legs straddling his hips while wearing his clothes. And then you had no pants on, sitting against his length bare. A shaky breath leaves his lips, and his grip tightens for a second.
            You said his name, in that soft voice you use on him. It drives him wild. How dare you use something so simple to enrapture him like this? His hand strokes faster as he imagines your eyes, staring up at him. When he lifted your chin, you’d look at him, and how your lips parted when you did. He groans and bites his lip. He imagines where he would take you. In his bed, of course. To have you lay down against his bed sheets, looking up at him with soft eyes, caused a moan to escape his throat. He wanted you in his tub as well, water be damned. He wanted to make a mess. Having you on top of him, riding his length while water splashed out of the sides. And he couldn’t begin to imagine the beautiful noises you’d make for him.
            His back arched and he groaned as he came, his hips bucking into his hand while his head tilted back in pleasure. He spilled across himself, panting as he tried calming down. He realized his first mistake; he didn’t use the damn pallet. His sample was all over his chest. His next mistake was the thoughts he just used to pleasure himself. You.
How perverted he must seem right now, he thought regrettably.
I've Already Started Working On It And Boys, This Is A Long One.
I've already started working on it and boys, this is a long one.
Vote! Referring to this post.
So, basically it'll still be name abbreviation, but the soulmates will be able to share pain being felt as well. Soulmate got punched in the face? You got a black eye because of it.
Being Simon Riley's soulmate...well you were surprised he was even still alive after the pain you've felt.
Yay? Neigh?
Monster!König x Fem!Vet!Reader! Pt. 4
Perspective change cause the whole Monster!Konig thing gets on my nerves...
Warnings: None, just some light fluff and Monster Konig discovering things.
I'm slowly building up like, how he came to be what he is, and such. I don't think I'll go into details on how I think he was created. But I'll try to fill in gaps and such. I have a wicked crazy idea for later but I have to build up to it *insert the rubbing hands together evilly, here*
König never rode in the actual passenger seat of a vehicle. Last time he was in a vehicle he was hog tied and in the bed of a truck. So this was a nice change no matter how nervous he was. You, decided to show him everything inside your little car to try easing his anxiety. You show him how the windows work, how to turn the A/C on and off, hot and cold. Showed him the radio, the lights inside the car, the seatbelts and how to fasten them and then how to release it. He was intrigued, his tentacles curiously winding and rolling together.
König kept the window down the whole way to your house. He didn't enjoy any of the music so you both listened to the wind as you drove. Your house was secluded in a wooded area but near one of the parks. You had a decent sized home. It was a two bedroom, two bathroom house that had a lake down the hill from it. When you both got out the vehicle, Konig had walked straight to the lake to take a closer look.
You followed him down to the lake and put your hands in your pockets, smiling a little. "Is it as big as the one you live by?" You questioned as you looked up at him. He looked around carefully before finally answering.
"No. It seems like the one here is smaller. And is not connected to any other stream. Why?" He looked at you.
"Oh, well it is connected to a separate stream." You walked a little further and he followed. He watched as you pointed to a small area where the trees opened up, but it was across the lake. "There. The lake is by some camp grounds but there's a stream there. We can visit it later if you want." You look back at him. "But for now, would you like to help me cook some dinner?"
He could feel his tentacles shifting under his mask and he shifted his jaw. But he nodded and followed you back up the hill.
Entering your house was different from the vet hospital. First off, it smelled better. The smell didn't burn his nose. Instead he was surrounded by an artificial smell, something he knew had to have been produced by human. But he didn't find himself hating it. It was a background odor for him to ignore. For now, he inspected your little home. You watched as he wasted no time in looking around your home and gently touching things that fascinated him. You smile a little, curious about his curious nature.
He stopped when he saw a tank near the hallway. It was a large 50 gallon tank but filled with dirt. Some netting surrounded the interior and he looked closer, trying to understand what it was doing here. You came over and opened the top. "Would you like to see my pet hermits?" You gently pulled out a small hermit crab. It had a pretty but spotted shell. "This is Babes. She's pretty nice but she pinches sometimes." You gently set her back down and grabbed the other. "And this is Brownie. She's shy but she's also pretty nice." You held up the other hermit, who had a brown shell on. He couldn't see the hermit but he nodded.
"You name your food?" He asked, puzzled. You laughed in an almost panicked way and shook your head.
"They're not for eating! They're my pets. They were being sold by this man on the side of the road, so I take care of them." You set the hermit back into the terrarium and turned on a small dim lamp for them. "Konig, what all do you know about humans?"
He was surprised by this question and he looked around your living room. Konig had many ideas and assumption about human beings. But, he was worried how you would react to his dislike for most people. He shifted and looked down at you. "Well, they're odd. They keep other animals as 'pets', they burn their food before eating it. They also hate me. When most humans find out about me, they scream or try to hurt me." He watched your reaction carefully. "You're the only human that has not tried to hurt me."
You felt your heart drop at this, and he could see the frown on your lips. You nodded then asked him, "Well, I never saw a reason to hurt you because you didn't hurt me." You smiled a little. "You're also living in the hunting county. So maybe most people just think you're buck or some wild animal...I don't think most would purposely-"
"They do." He stopped you. "They know what I am." He looked away and you felt your stomach drop. You stepped a little closer and reached out to touch his arm. He flinched but you only touched him with your fingertips.
"I'm not going to hurt you. And I'm not going to let anyone try to hurt you. You're not a human being but you're not a monster either." You smiled at him. "C'mon, I'll start cooking for us and I'll tell you about some human traditions."
~~~~

"So, you allow yourself to sit down and let other humans hurt you, for hours and hours, so that you will have lines marked along your skin? Because you like it?" His eyes were stuck on the tattoo you had on your arm.

"Well, that's harder to explain. Some humans really like it, the pain, Some find it comforting and others find it excruciating! It depends on the human. But the reason is also a lot to explain." You sipped your tea. "Some humans like the looks and styles. Some want to have a picture or a design on them to remember something. Like, if someone close to them has died, then they may want to get their name tattooed onto their arm or hand."

He nodded and leaned closer, his eyes narrowing. "And you got this to remember someone?"

"No, I got this because I liked it, and I've always wanted to get a tattoo to see if I liked it." You smiled and shrugged your arm. "You can touch it if you want. It's been healed for years now."

He reached out and pressed his large hand on your arm. He was surprised it was smooth there, expecting a bumpy or rough texture. His fingers trailed down your arm to where the tattoo ended and he quickly retracted his hand. "I see."

You watched carefully as your heart sped up. He had a gentle touch, but you could feel his strength in it. You smiled and nodded. "So yeah, but um, I could also tell you about birthdays. Can you guess what those are?" You stood up and went to the stove. You opened the pot and stirred the food inside. Beside you, Konig walked over to lean back against the counter. You noticed he would stay close to you ever since you brought him inside and it made you smile. He reminded you of a small kid, in a sense.

"Birthdays. Is this a day where many humans are birthed alive?" He asked with all seriousness.

You giggled and looked at him. "That's a good guess but no, its usually just one person. So a birthday is the day a person was born. And usually every year they would celebrate it with people they are close with." You hummed. "My birthday already passed, but since I live alone here I just ate a slice of cake and watched a movie." You tapped your finger on the counter. "So, a birthday party is just celebrating that the year has passed and you've lived long enough to have surpassed it."

He nodded and looked at the pot of food. "And how are humans born?"

"Humans are born like, in a live birth. The mother has to pass them through her uterus." You thought about this and made sure he understood. "And human babies are born small and have to be taken care of most of their life. Until they reach adulthood. How were you born?"

Konig thought about this then answered. "I don't know. I only remember living in the lake all my life. My earliest memory is when I was smaller. And I found a small human who was my size. He was clinging to a log and was crying." He itched his neck as he recalled the memory. "I swam up to him and he screamed more. I couldn't talk so I tried to show him I could help him get back to the shore. I guess he understood, because he stopped screaming and he nodded his head. I knew humans didn't breath underwater so I kept him above water. After I got him to shore, he said something to me but I didn't understand." Konig stopped talking and then looked at you. "That is all I remember."

You pouted and tilted your head. "Well what happened after that?"

He shrugged and continued. "He ran away. So I left. I had to hunt for food."

"...Maybe he tried telling you thank you." You suggested. "But, that was a very nice thing you did for that boy. I think you probably scared him but, still. You saved his life."

He shrugged, looking down at you. "Perhaps." He watched as you lifted the spoon from the pot and blew on it. Then you carefully held up the spoon.

"Here, taste this." You said as you held it up some more.

He eyes the food sample before reaching up and dipping his fingers into the spoon, then shoving them under his hood into his mouth. He made a face before shaking his head and then taking a step back. "Ack! What is that? Why is...there's so much-..." He moved his mouth before he looked at you. "Why does this food have so many different tastes?"

You tried to search your brain to figure out what he meant. Then it clicked. "Oh! Flavor you mean? Um, there's spices in it. I used oregano, thyme, basil, paprika, turmeric..." you then tasted the food as well. "Hmm, it tastes fine to me. But I guess you've never had this before? Seasonings I mean."

"No, I've never had these 'seasons' before, on my food." He saw your quiet giggling and he felt his tentacles twitching under his hood. He disliked that he enjoyed your giggling.

"That's a crime in some states." You chuckled and turned the pot off. "Would you like some more to try again? If not, I could grill up some of the fish you gave to me." You wiped your hands on a towel and walked to the cabinet to grab two bowls.

He watched you as you reached up to grab them. His eyes wandered down you back and he felt his chest tighten so he looked away. When he looked at his own arm, Konig suddenly asked, "Who was that man with the dog? He seemed to be mad at you."

Your eyebrows furrowed at the question that seemed to come out of nowhere. You put the two bowls down and looked at him with a concerned look, but it softened. "That was Simon. He was upset because I wouldn't go out with him." You then looked at his healing dog bites as well and frowned. "He's usually a nice man, but he's pushy, and he has some problems. I don't like him because he can become violent when he doesn't get what he wants." Konig asked you to explain what you meant by 'asking out someone'. "So, that means to date someone." When he didn't understand that, you felt your cheek heat up. "Like, when one human wants to get to know another human but more personally, and maybe perhaps intimately. They go on a date, or go out and learn more about each other."

He felt his eyebrows furrow in a slow understanding. "Like, he was trying to mate with you?" His eyes widened. "That is why he brought you those flowers?" His back straightened. "He tried to force you to accept his courting item."

You put your hands up as if to calm him down. "Hey, its not like that. Humans have different ideas from 'mating'. I think anyways..." You chewed your lip. "Like I said, humans go on dates to know each other better before they decide to mate. And humans can decide if they don't want to continue or not. And I refused him."

He listened to your explanation and he nodded. So, human mating rituals were different than his. As he suspected. It was just additional steps. "This sounds like a long process for humans."

You smiled and nodded. "I couldn't explain dating to you tonight. Its too long and complicated. But, I'll fix you some food and I can show you a movie on the tv. Sounds good?"

Konig nodded a little, even though he wasn't sure how a movie or a tv worked. And he would have to ignore the crazy tastes that were in the food to please you. You already worked hard to make him this human dish, and he wouldn't make you work anymore.

I had to find someway to end this cause I wrote too much. There will be more. Obviously. I had a night of free time so, here's your late night snacks. Hope yall enjoy...

Next chapter will have more interesting subjects.

College student reader x Simon (Reversed)

((There's actually nothing about college except the beginning. Part 2 of Simon x college student reader))

- Stressed Simon, (actual angst) past argument mentions, hurt(?)/comfort. I really got into this one. wow. Mentions showering but nothing explicit. Dropping 'L' word at the end and also motorboating lol (face to chest basically)

I'm not rereading this, whatever goes, goes.

You were quickly typing into your computer, eyeballing the typo before backspacing quickly and fixing it. You were sat on the couch, humming and typing away to finish up a summary for your English teacher. Easy stuff, not too much work. And it should be your last thing to do today. You smiled a little as you thought of all your free time. Briefly you wondered if Simon would want to go catch a movie with you at the theater or stay home instead. You didn't mind either.

The door opens and Simon walks in. You smiled up at him but he didn't look at you. He kicked off his shoes and went straight to the bedroom. Your smile dropped and you moved to close your laptop, but paused. What happened?

Simon walked into the bedroom, into the bathroom and shut the door. He turned on the shower and began stripping out his clothes quickly. He needed to calm himself. After the day he's had, he was about to snap. First he got a ticket for an expired parking meter, then some older woman at the store snapped at him for standing too close to her (he was a shopping cart and a half away from her.) His card declined four times before he had to use cash because he forgot to unlock the card the night before...a wide series of things in between as well. It seemed like today, the universe held it's middle finger at Simon. And to top it off? Bird shit on his neck down his back.

He got into the cold shower and began scrubbing with a back brush. You had been all bright smiles to greet him, but he had to look away. Something ugly twisted in his mind, that grinning evil insecurity. He didn't want to yell at you. He did once and the look on your face was still plastered in his mind. Hurt.

You did that, remember?

He hissed and rubbed his face with his wet hands. He never wanted that to happen again. So he ran past you. Avoiding you to keep you happy. Aren't I pathetic?

The bird shit down his back was gone, but he kept scrubbing, grumbling about bad luck under his breath. Then there was a knock. Simon didn't want to answer, but he didn't want you to come in and see him like this again. But you didn't enter.

"Simon. I'll give you some alone time." You spoke through the door, hand faintly resting on the knob. You wanted to go in but you knew he needed his space. "But, I'm gonna start cooking, it'll be done in an hour probably. If you still want to be alone by then, um..." You looked around. "Just- put a sock on the door handle, and I'll let you be okay?"

A smile twitched at his lips. He sighed however, then answered in a low tone, his voice baritone enough for you to hear it past the shower. "Alright love." A pause. "Thank you."

You didn't say anything else, he heard your footsteps leave and the bedroom door closing. His heart felt heavy and he closed his eyes. Letting the cold water run over his hair and down his body. The ugly little thing that whispered in his head was still there, but not so loud anymore.

He slowly turned the hot water on, breathing out again.

~~~
You had just finished cooking, proud of how it turned out too. You turned everything off to let it cool, then went to the bedroom to see if Simon still needed to be alone. But as you turned, you ran right into him and jumped from fright. At the same time, he picked you up and threw you over his shoulder with ease. You screamed and giggled. "Simon-!"
He deposits you on the couch, and then lays on top of you. Full weight. You laughed from the pressure but soon he shifted to hold you more comfortably. Arms wrapped around your middle as his body laid between your legs. His head rested against your chest where he pressed his face for a moment or two. You blushed, waiting, then he turned his head and laid his ear against your chest. Eyes closed, breathing normally. He was listening to your heart.
You reached up and ran your fingers through his hair and scratching the nape of his neck. "You wanna tell me about it?" You asked.
He hummed. "Bad day. Nothin' went right."
You nodded. "Did the shower and sleep help?"
"Couldn't sleep." He replied. He lifted his head and looked at you. "M'sorry for how I came in. Didn't want to snap at you." Again. The word was there but he didn't say it. Your eyes softened and he knew you thought about it too.
But you smiled softly. "Don't apologize...you needed space Si. Everyone does sometimes." You ran your fingers through his hair. You could see the look in his eye, the regret. The one memory that seemed to hurt him more than it did you.
"Simon?" He hummed and waited for you to continue. "I love you." His heart skipped, but you went on. "And what you said before in the past, is in the past. You were overwhelmed and stressed and I didn't know how to comfort you. I just want to take care of you like you do for me."
He sighed and put his face into your chest again, making you snort a little. "I want to be better."
"Simon, shush yourself." You kissed his head and he lifted his face. "There's no getting 'better' when everything sucks. I can't get you out of a bad mood, but I'll be here waiting to help in anyway I can. If that means waiting an hour or two, then I'll do it."
His eyes softened, that voice in his head snuffed out completely. "I love you too."
You smiled, your hand rubbing his cheek. "Wanna eat now? Food is still warm."
He huffed, stuffed his face back into your chest and ignored your shrieks and giggling. "Few more minutes..." You complied, letting your hand run up his back slowly while he listened to your heart. Warm. Safe.
"I've got you."
Asking for Help/Advice
Guess who has to change their pfp and name off of Uber delivery because some guy(customer) ordered a SINGLE sauce packet from Taco Bell, and before I could pick it up for him, he texted me through the app and said, "Wow you look so beautiful."
😰🤢
That order was promptly canceled. This was all at 1 in the morning btw.
And update, I may not be able to change my profile pic because the app uses facial recognition to let me work orders, like a lock...
Anyone that also works for uber delivery that can help or offer advice?
Someone way way way back in the day, probably slapped their buddy's arm and was like, "I bet you three berries you can't get up on that thing and ride it around."
And the friend looked at the 5 ft 7 mass of muscle on four legs, with an elongated, terrifying face and crazy in it's eye. And dude said "Make it six." And got to work.
And now we have horses.
Uncomfortable
I'm stuck in a 2 star hotel that's been repeatedly reported for nasty rooms, nasty drug heads, homeless people trying to sneak through the windows, rude staff...I'm here for two nights.
It stinks here. I'm omw to my housekeeping job and it definitely goes to show that, I KNOW I can do better than this. Dirty towels, empty toilet paper rolls, used water bottles sitting in the fridge...and I want to cry. I've peaked outof the peep hole 4 times, I've checked the windows 5 times. And I'm not even paying for it...my guy friend is, so I can't complain. And I literally have no money to my name to change any of this.
Wednesday I'll be out of here. But until then I'm stuck. In this nasty hole and smelly room. The only good thing is that Jurassic Park is playing and I still have snacks he bought me.
