today at work a man brought a pug in on a leash and that pug was so excited and happy to see me it was as if we were old friends who havent been in contact in 7 years i felt so loved in that moment

So I fully feel like Chords by The Amazing Devil and Matilda by Harry Styles are two sides of the same coin.

Chords is the parents who cry when they drop you off at uni

Matilda is the parents who don’t really notice that you’re gone

Maybe I’m interpreting Chords wrong, or projecting, but it always felt like the aftermath of a kid going to uni

This interview and photoshoot of Joey are both so lovely. It’s nice to have a glimpse into the thought process behind the music they put out, and how he spends his time when he’s not witchering around!
