OMG OMG SO I was just watching the owl house again and I was thinking about why I like and forgave the Collector so easily, and I realized it was cause they reminded me of someone else. LLOYD GARMADON. Specifically season one Lloyd. Think about it, a young kid living by themselves, having a name made for them that they really had no say in, gifted with powers that go beyond what most people can understand, and wanting nothing more then for people to pay attention to and play with them. While The Collector was manipulated by Belos and tricked into using his power to hurt people, Lloyd was manipulated by Pythor to hurt people by releasing the rest of the Serpentine. Just thought those parallels were interesting
You make me happy fish. Thanks for being around :>

hello world i have fallen victim to fanfiction writing. Heres a little teaser to chapter one of, what I hope, will be a full-length series on AO3 about Khan and Nori’s early years together
Khan made his way to the basement of the labs, looking for the hall with the collapsed ceiling.
“There you are.” He whispered, having finally found his assignment. It was… a disturbing site to say the least. The ceiling tiles had been shattered beyond recognition, seemingly by force, and the wall nearby had been splattered with… oil? It sent a chill up his chassis.
He began surveying the damage when a female voice picked up behind him.
“So… they finally let someone see what goes on down here, huh? You some fresh meat or sumthin’?”
Khan was startled, jumping a bit before turning around, and then his shock turned to awe as he laid eyes on the most beautiful drone he’d ever seen. Her clothes were plain: a sleeveless grey dress, ID tag, gloves, and no shoes. Yet there was an undeniable fervor in her eyes, which were the most brilliant shade of pink.
“Helloooo?” She asked, “Ya still in there or?” She tapped her fingers on his faceplate, effectively snapping him out of his trance.
“Uh— hi miss?” He tried to form a full sentence but was too taken aback, a brilliant white blush forming on his cheeks.
The woman played with the ends of her lavender hair and stifled a giggle, “I’ve never had a guy get flustered over me before. You sure you don’t belong down here with the rest of us defects?”
@electronix-arts tagging you since you’re the reason i went ahead with this silly little idea ^^

So some of my followers already know that I'm going absolutely insane over Soul Void and I want to get other people to play it like I'm a pied Piper dragging people into my interests. But it's so good! I'm going to lose my mind! I've heard other people describe it as a cross between OFF and Yume Nikki, so if you like those games then you should like Soul Void too!
Note that those who do not like body horror (even when non-graphic) will not likely enjoy this title as it is a consistent theme. But if you do like me, then that's just bonus points lol
It's free and launches in your browser (link to itch.io page), so there's no monetary or technological barrier to play
It's about two hours long, so it's not a huge time commitment
I absolutely love all the characters. They're all so unique and varied from each other and other popular characters
The setting is so dreamlike and fantastical to explore. It's creepy but not overly horrific (and although it does have its creepy moments, there are no jumpscares and any horror/gore is non-graphic due to being a pixel game)
You get to make friends with the monsters and help them
It's an emotional gut punch, but it has a happy ending with some of the best catharsis I've gotten from a game in a while
The message and themes are very positive and relatable to those who struggle with mental health issues
Please
